Trailer was given with straps unsecured and when making a slow speed turn leaving almost ripped strap off running over. Trailer running lights did not work. Found out at night following day driving to Georgia in a rain storm. Multiple other cars flashed us and we pulled over to check to find lights not working after a worker supposedly checked them. If I was in a position to improve anything at U Haul it would be the wait time at your call center. I realize there are many customers all attempting too speak with a representative and some if not most could easily access your on line service. But in my situation I wasn’t able to get access to make a reservation for my storage. I am not sure if I had spoke with a representative on the phone my issue would have been resolved? Because I hung up several times from frustration of listening to your recorded messages prompting me to use the online service that I could not. The longest wait time was almost a half n hour . My solution was to drive directly to the location . I was pleased with your Staff and the associate who help me reserve my storage unit as well as the simplicity returning your truck the next day .Phyllis G. | First Impressions

When we emptied the storage bin, I went into the office to close out the paper work I asked if we would get money back since we were closing out a couple of days early would get a refund. I was very unhappy when I returned my truck I noticed on my receipt that I was charged 5 dollars for the dolly and 5 dollars for the pads. I did not use either of them. The guy said I was supposed to take pictures of them when I did the walk around before I took the truck. I did not know I needed to take pictures of those things that I wasn't even going to use. The truck was tired 171,655 miles for a vehicle that gets tossed from user to user... It needs to be retired. Overall performance was good for my particular need, overnight storage for a party. I only had it for 24hrs. and put 17miles on it. However, it would not have been very comfortable for a longer haul. On the performance side only I have only three points. The suspension is shot, yes, I know it's a 26' truck, nonetheless is is really tought in comparison to other that size that I have used in the past. Wiper blades need to be replaced. The heat-a/c was non-functional.Perhaps the blower or maybe a fuse ot relay. Other than that it did the job. Thank You, Carl BCarlyle B.

It wasn't really the location's fault as much as the way UHAUL runs, but they didn't have the size truck we reserved, so they knocked us down two sizes. They also didn't honor the price we were given online OR the price we were given on the phone when UHAUL called me to tell me my "reservation" wasn't actually reserved. They treated me as though it was my problem and I was just going to have to deal with it.Aaron C.

I had a really strange experience dropping off the truck and trailer. I expected that the folks there would unload my car from the trailer (the Edgewater folks had loaded it), but the man who came out to help me said "We don't unload trailers at this location." I was confused and asked if there was another location I should go to. He say he didn't know. So in frustration I asked if he intended for me to just keep the whole rig forever. He responded that he wasn't going to give me anything for free. Finally it dawned on me that he was asking me to take my car off the trailer myself (I admit I was a bit slow on the uptake, but this was my first time ever dealing with a car trailer). I asked him if that's what he meant, and he said yes. I asked if he would coach me through it, and he said yes. So I suggested that next time a customer was confused, he could just tell them that they were expected to do it themselves but that he would coach them and it wasn't hard. He responded by saying angrily, "I have been doing this for 9 years, and I don't need customer service advice from a customer." In the end I did unload the car and he did coach me and it wasn't hard. But I will never use this UHaul location again. Both the outright rudeness and the lack of sympathy with an inexperienced trailer user (as most of your customers must be) was simply breathtaking.Nancy F.

Rented a 20' the guy who was working .. looked like 1. He didn't want to be there. 2. He told us if we wanted it for an extra day we just have to call. NO ONE answers the phone over there. So I got charged $200+ keeping it for an extra day. Some bullshit, honestly. Do better Uhaul ForealNatalya O.

Personnel is rude and not helpful. They canceled my storage and didn't offer a solution to my no storage problem. Then they also tried to charge me two extra fees for being late to drop off and tried to make me feel guilty because they had another person waiting on the equipment. Very unprofessional.Abigail D.

Check-in was very easy. The van I rented was clean and ready to go. We're turning the van was also very quick and easy. This is the second time I've had difficulties with the U-Haul online check in/check out. When I arrived at 5:00 to return my rental, no one was around (store closed at 5 but still expected to have returned the key to someone. They didn't tell me I had to return it online). I arrived at uhaul on Sunday at 4:30 to pick up my auto transport that I had reserved for 4:45. I was told their system was down and the person that had the trailer wasn't back yet and they had no way to contact him. I waited until 5 and he did not show up so the employees left a note for the Gm in the morning explaining the situation. I arrived the next morning at 6:30 and the GM arrived at 6:45. I explained the situation that happened the day before and was told I would have to wait until 7 and walked away. I was then placed with the guy who had been there all of three days so getting the trailer in 5 minutes turned into almost 30. Im not sure if it was the online service or what. However, I made reservations, it said it was good, the day of pick uo my reservation was no where to be found, the size truck I needed wasnt available. But, the customer service at the store was awesome. They were patient and professional. Apologized, did have a 17ft available. However, that ended costing me 4 trips back and forth as it did not fit everything. Hopefully its just a glitch w the system. Amd hopefully that gets fixed. Thank youMyrna S.

The two people working that day were very unhelpful. It was putting rain outside and since I selected to check on his email, they wouldn't help me with the check in our helping me to find the truck. I walked all around the parking lot to find the truck which was as far away from the office as possible. Then I had to walk back on the train to get the keys. When I got back, I stopped where it said to wait for summertime to come and check the trick back in. No one came out to help me, I had to go in and find them. I was disgusted and told them they they were as unhelpful as anyone I've ever dealt with, but they just shrugged at me.Suzanne V.

My one complaint is that even though I had made a reservation and given my credit card, the unit I had reserved was given to someone else. End result: I was stuck with a unit that is NOT directly accessible from the outside, which inconvenienced me and caused me to pay more for my movers (to pay for the “extra steps”).
