The people at the Chandler Uhaul are an outstanding team! They were so helpful to me when my electrical hookup wasn't working on my old vehicle, they replaced the part. I found the staff quite friendly & helpful - especially Anna. Everything went quite smoothly on move in day. My only suggestion is to maybe have some longer carts that would acomodate larger items like sofas, mattresses, etc.. The Absolute worst experience I have ever had. I will never rent, or recommend this particular location or company ever again. My reservation was moved from literally right down the street to another location well out of my way. At the time I was to be picking up my truck. No call, email , notification of any kind. The location that I was sent to was closed and had no trucks. Somehow truck truck at the original location miraculously appeared, three hours later, and after I was assured everything was in there that I ordered for the move, I had to return to the location a third time to retrieve the items I had paid for. Massive inconvenience and very poor customer service. I will say two employees were helpful and did try to rectify the situation but the damage was done. I will NEVER recommend UHaul and especially this location.NOELLE L.

Staff put a lock on my unit while I was moving everything out and didn't know it was open on weekends (they weren't open on weekends in the city I moved from) so I had a fun extra charge of $350. Was so nice not being able to afford food and having to eat at work every day. Didn't have a whole lot left in there but ended up having to leave what little was left. I was suppose to pick up truck and trailer on June 12 all they had was the truck. So I had to go back the next day to get the trailer. The pick up spot was a half hour away That was a waste of time and gas Left early Monday noticed driver side lights were out on trailer On the ride got pulled over and had to talk my way out of a ticket I just feel I wasted a lot of my time on things I shouldn't of had to. The reservation process was not very good. I made my reservation 3 weeks before I needed a truck. The night before my reservation I was told that my truck would not be ready. So they sent me to another location which was not as convenient. I was then told my 2 day rental would only be a 1 day rental. Terrible experience.DAVID N.

I am disappointed in your policy that does not allow, long-time customers of yours in good standing, to prorate days left in the month when they have to move out of their storage space early. I Booked a rental 3 weeks in advance. I get a call Monday to schedule my pick up location(7 miles away) then Thursday less then 24 hours before my pick up Friday 3pm I get a call saying my truck was rented out to a walk in customer (I saved the voicemail) now I have to drive 20miles to a different uhaul.. On pick up day I find out I can't use the easy load ramp with Car Dolley attached so I have to come back the following day with a fully loaded uhaul the opposite way of my 700 mile drive. Then one of the dolley safety chains was wrapped up and not able to remove it to wrap around my axle. I stoped at another uhaul to see if they could get it for me but after 10mins no luck... they told me to go where I got the uhaul and have them give me a new one...but I was already super behind and wasn't gonna drive another 40mile round trip opposite way to fix a issues that should have been.. (I have photos too} completely unhappy. I paid $1222 and had the worse experience ever. I will now spread several reviews on multiple uhaula to expose your bullsht. I will never use uhaul again. I rented a moving truck for 8 hours, I returned it only 5 hours after my rental time. That night I received a call asking when I was returning the truck. I advised it had already been returned. The next day I received two more calls asking when I was planning on returning the truck again, I mentioned I had already returned it and handed the keys to the employee. They stated they would look into the issue. I spent about 45 to 50 minutes on hold trying to resolve this matter with no one to pick up the line. My reservation was for 8:00..due to the line of people picking up trucks and lack of employees I didn't get my truck until after 9:00 am. My rental was for 3 hours! When I brought the truck back at 12:00 (3 hours) employee attempted to charge me another full day stating that I was late! Then I woke up to a pending hold for another 70.00 although the company already took the fee from my card! Additionally an employee that showed up while I was in line helped 2 white women in line behind get their trucks by handing them the keys so they didn't have to wait in line cuz they did on line check in! Myself and 3 people in front of me also did online check in and were not assisted, but made to cont to wait in line! When one of the other customers tried to complain to the manager on duty he stated he was t responsible for what other people did! Worst experience ever and I will never use uhaul again!ELAINE F.

This specific location was ideal and had great staff friendly atmosphere welcoming. I decided to move out all my stuff and leave as a customer because since management changed a few months ago the service went out the door. From threatening to remove my "Privileges" for a rock that was holding up a door to smoking right in front of office door while her kids play in areas trafficked by movers and moving vehicles. I went in early to secure all paper work and get storage unit. Well the salesman gave me a unit number. So, we left to get the traler and being under the stress of moving. We went to unload. Well holly cahoes. Gate wouldn't work when we applieed our number even with the help of a employee. Then after driving around gor 20 minutes decided there was no such unnit. The the employee took us back to the office to find out those hadnt been set up yet. So the lady so upset I didnt get her name. Said she could set us up on a inside unit. It’s really sad after answering “yes” to several questions about the facility and staff, and to rate this location with two stars. Why? It’s this... I vacated my storage unit on the 22nd. I asked what more do I need to do as my unit was cleared out. The staff said to leave the door up/open, and they’ll take care of it. Following the Christmas holiday I received an email notifying me of a late fee. I wasn’t pleased with this, but having called corporate and then speaking with the manager, the matter was resolved. I was set to leave another five star review; but then Sunday I received a message from my brother who was concerned about a late fee and monthly rental charge. This upset me greatly as now my Emergency contact was sent a bill. An Emergency contact is not someone who’s a co-sign to a rental agreement. It’s someone who’s to be notified if something should happen to me... injury, or death. Really?! You’ve sent my brother a bill? Any idea of what harassment is? I really should stick you with a one star rating, but unlike U-Haul sending my brother a bill, I’m a touch more considerate, understanding, and forgiving. It would be wise that a handwritten apology be sent to my brother. Is that asking too much for someone to do as an adult, and kind human being? Beware all others now when filling out that section of a rental agreement. This storage facility and staff far exceeded my expectations I it appreciate that they are taking every precaution necessary to prevent the spread of the virus for the safety of their employees and for the community on top of that during this time of crisis they are giving one month free and that means free there is no hidden charges it's not a gimmick when they say they're giving you month free it doesn't mean next month or break it up into 3 months they literally gave me storage for nothing out of pocket but that's not what I appreciated the most I appreciated the friendliness of the staff I appreciate the helpfulness and the fact that they have so many carts available to move your stuff I've never experienced a storage unit like this and if I move out of this city it's worth the drive-in me that keep them so I don't say this lightly they are far the best storage I've ever experienced and I am very pleased with the service and precautions they are taking if there was more than 5 stars I would give itAmber C. | First Impressions
