The time it took to get in and out was ridiculous and every Sunday there's a huge line waiting for the door to be opened. One Sunday the worker was late and nobody else was there. The lack of manpower to keep things moving smoothly was definitely insufficient and poorly managed. As far as reservations on line and trying to get it all done without having all the stuff to deal with inside...... it would have been easier and faster by going in which says a lot considering they were lined up out the door almost! I will never use the online stuff anymore and if conditions don't get better inside then I'll go to budget.Corene T.

This may not be fair to the pickup location but my major disappointment is with UHAUL as a company. They took my reservation weeks ahead of time and then the day before I was to move my kid out of the dorms I get a call saying the trailer I reserved was not going to be there. I was given two options, either drive 50 plus miles to some other location get a trailer there. That's an addition 2 hours on top of what was already going to be a 11 hour drive day. Or cancel and get a measly $50 for my trouble. Needless to say there were choice words and tension. The guy that called me hung up on me. I called back and found that he had cancelled my reservation and I was left with nothing. Went to the pick up location and ended up with a 6x12 when I wanted and only needed a 4x8. Although it worked and allowed me to move my kid out of the dorm it did cost more wear and tear on the car and more gas to haul that 6x12. Needless to say I will be looking to other options for the next 7 years of move ins and outs.Charles C.

Had to sweep out the unit. Lots of leaf debris and some spider webs as would be expected for a drive up unit. Pallets and rodent trap were placed in the unit as standard, but the pallets were dirty and I was concerned about potential for bugs in them. When I moved them, spiders crawled out. I covered them with tarp and set them to the side which took up space. Pallets should be offered but not automatically placed. Timing prevented me from asking for removal.Lori W. | First Impressions

Need overhead lights installed. There is a light but when I ask for a light bulb I was told none of the units could be lit I would need to use my car headlights. Slide on door very hard to open. I would suggest that your specifications on your trailer (ie. 6 X 12 utility trailer with ramp) be clearer. Your web site states that it has a 57" ramp. Is that the length or the width? Would be clearer if you stated that the trailer loading entrance is restricted to 57" inches.Lonnie B.

When I went to drop off my truck I set out where it said to set to drop off someone would come out no one came out when I wit inside they said they didn't want to come out inspect my truck for mileage gas or anything else because of social distancing so I had to demand that someone come out and sign off on my truck being in perfect shape when I left it. I asked for the lock-latch on my storage unit to be fixed. The local staff said the would have their "guy" come out and fix it. Everyone I interacted with was nice and helpful but the truck did not meet my expectations. The back sliding door would stick when initially opening the door requiring you to pull extra hard to open it, but the tension was so high that no matter what the door would go all the way up. In the process there were several times that the door hook would engage in the closed position. It got stuck so bad the first time that your associate had to get a pry bar out to get it unstuck so that it could be closed. He offered me another truck but I hadn't refueld so was told I would get charged the increased rate so I declined. This happened a few more times where it got stuck but not as bad so I was able to free it. The previous person to drive this must have backed into a car, there was windshield glass all over the ramp when I pulled it out. My sister cut her foot on this.Bernard G.

Picking up the truck and dropping it off was quick and easy. I asked for a 20' truck and they gave me a 26' truck. That was more than enough for our space needs, but the 26' truck was harder to drive and park. However, it worked out well overall. The only problem we had was that we could not slide the ramp back in all the way after we used it. Fortunately, when the back door is lowered and latched, the latch is positioned to keep the ramp from sliding out any further.Gregory B.

I had ordered a tow for the uhaul to bring my car and they had me go to another location that was 30 minutes away to pick up the tow after getting the truck. On a moving day, we didn't have time for an extra hour (there and back) and we were incredibly stressed. The lady who called me to tell me about the reservation was extremely rude and sounded like she hated her life. I don't understand why they couldnt have picked it up for us ahead of time OR we could have just picked up a truck from the location that had the tow.Rachel N.

Rattle trap of a truck, dirty cabin, loose wires under dashboard hanginh in the way of driver's feet. Ramp very hard to pull out far enough to put in correct position. Door hard to get to go up the last foot and to pull down again. Everything was simple, quick , and efficient. I had called all around town for a uhaul & ended up having to get a van which was way bigger than I expected. The guys here were so kind I spoke to a Justin or Justus checked me in and his co worker who was also about his age was who checked me out. I'm highly impressed with the customer service and this being my first time here definitely won't be my last ! Thank you guys very much ! Nice to see I have another place to rent these from besides spur locks who was my go to but were closed. I'm very happy with the unit and my experience so far. One odd thing is the online reservation indicated if I booked immediately online a lock would be included free (and in the unit when I arrived.) It was not. I asked inside the office and the person at the desk told me that a lock was not included. My first interaction with UHAUL (after it bought out the storage company) was a threatening letter which stated that they were going to sell everything in my storage locker immediately - because my credit card number had changed and the automatic payment did not go through. More recently, when it was time to move out, I showed up at my locker one evening to find a second lock installed, with a note to go by the office to get the key for it. The office was already closed, so I could not access my things. I had not been notified that a new lock had been installed.
