This is the 3rd 15ft truck I have rented over last couple months. Overall the rental experience has been good...with a few miscommunication issues between uhaul website / "corporate" and pick up locations. However, yesterday I returned the truck In the exact condition I received it. My receipt indicated I had an accident. This is totally not correct. There was absolutely no accident. When truck was returned I pointed out to the attendent the driver side mirror was loose. Whenever there was a bump on highway the mirror would move out of position.... creating significant blind spots when changing lanes on highway. It made for a very difficult 3 hr drive. I will be visiting the drop off location today and then pick up location tomorrow to determine how and why a false accident report was generated. I post this for public view because this situation is not right. I am hoping to learn this was simply a mistake.

Once when I pulled in they came out to help right away. They inspected the truck and asked if everything went well with the move. As I was walking back to my wife's car as she was picking me up another employee was driving a truck around and stoped to make sure I have been helped.

I was taken aback at how courteous and preof3ssu9n the team member's from uhaul were. From the initial phone conversation with the friendly representative over the phone, who assisted with the logistical portion of getting the uboxes delivered, to the friendly and helpful and most importantly, thoughtful delivery drivers/forklift operators, who e sure that the boxes were dropped in the appropriate locations with enough room to maneuver around them. I will definitely use this service again in the future, because of how easy it was! Thank you again for making a move a lot less stressful!

More clearly mark lanes and parking locations. Lane I happened to be behind the building. Pointing over one's shoulder, "It's located back there." "There" is a big space with lots of choices.

Make the drop off experience as good as the pick up experience. Recently a Drop off in Boston was absolutely horrendous and personally threatening.

Vehicle return check in: waited 15 min after previous vehicle returned. Went inside to ask for return check in, return staff member was on phone/computer. Counter staff asked to assist me, looked at the vehicle id on key and told return staff 'here it is'. I was then asked if an email receipt was okay. I greed as vehicle was returned clean and with more fuel than when received. I have not yet received actual receipt of charges.

I wasn’t sure where to leave the vehicle, so I parked it out back with other UHAULS. I did the APP pick up and drop off, so I did not interact with anyone except for on the phone. The people at the call center were very helpful. However, for some reason I was charged an extra $.99 for going over almost 1 mile. That was confusing to me because I didn’t go out of my way or stray off the route. Also, I was told I would be given extra miles on the phone because I had to go to a further away location to pick up the U-Haul unexpected. It wasn’t a big deal. It was just annoying.

Not bad. The equipment overall was clean but the inside of truck wasn't fully clean as I'd done or like it. A good wipe down of the cup holders ( which had hair in it) and underneath seats could been better. The actual location is fine

The only complaint is the long layover for the pods to arrive, me and my wife were blessed to have her parents live in the area so we didn’t have to stay at hotels for 7+ days.

We rent 2-3 trucks per month. The (380 Union St. location) female manager was very rude, condescending, & unprofessional. We had made reservations at another location a week in advance only to find out that morning and told they didn't have a truck for us, but we could drive to West Springfield. Instead of being understanding & communicating in a professional manner she decided to scoff & complain about everything, including the General Manager at the other location. She complained that we were paying via check & moaned when told that we're a tax exempt non-profit.

Ubox drop off occurred 45 minutes before the quoted window without any notification, so I was not prepared. Please contact customers ahead of time before changing the drop off time. Everyone I interacted with in person and on the phone was friendly and helpful.

Overall great experience throughout the process of initial box drop-off in MA to receiving my box in NC. Only negative feedback is that the receipt process (needed for employment reimbursement) is not ideal: Would be great if there could be one final receipt itemized across all of the services. Other than that, thanks!

Arranged my rental online and picked up truck at 380 Union St., West Springfield, MA. Much larger facility than expected. Counter service was quick. Finding the truck in the yard took a bit longer than it should have. Representative was great. Inside building was organized and clean. Rental was affordable.

I had a flat tire on the trailer and it took 5 hours to get it rectified. A little acessive. I think a 2 hour wait would have been reasonable.

Everything was perfect! The young lady (I think her name was Megan or something like that) was very polite and helpful and when I walked outside and did a "walk-around" of the unit to check for any damage, she came outside and looked at it herself and made.me feel comfortable by explaining the damage already on the vehicle and how it's "logged" into the UHaul system because I didn't want to be charged for damage already on the unit.

I think the sign at the recycle center is a bit confusing. It can be interpreted that you can donate as long as it is in good condition, including mattresses and boxsprings. An employ explained to me yesterday that they are not allowed at all. I think that the notice should say that they are not allowed at all and if left there will be the fine. I understood the sign to say that if it was not in good condition, then the fee will be charged. I only closed my storage unit because I found stable housing abider being homeless for a while. I was able to use the storage unit for what it was needed for.

I think that a customer paid a full month on the storage an only used one week instead of four they should get those extra weeks that they didn’t use reimbursed. You keeping that money and then re- renting the spot again, you making double the money on one spot. Not fair 😡

This facility is OUTSTANDING ACROSS THE BOARD‼️ I had this unit just days short of 4 YEARS. MUCH LONGER THAN I HAD INTENDED. I had the opportunity to interact with this staff on a monthly basis. On my move in/ out I also rented a truck and equipment. I just don't have enough positive remarks to say. The staff was CONSISTENTLY pleasant, helpful and willing/;ABLE to answer all of my questions and concerns. Jessie and Julia were particularly helpful to me during some difficult turns in the road throughout the time I had this unit. I can honestly say the West Springfield U-Haul staff raise the bar in outstanding customer service at a time when it's become a lost part of our society. IF only everywhere I went and everyone I encountered in my daily affairs were so bright, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful our world would be a better place. This facility is consistently sparkling clean as well. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would. They all deserve it. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making both of these traditional times in my life as smooth as they possibly could be. Please know you made a difference in my life if only for brief moments in time. I would not hesitate to use West Springfield U-Haul if the need arises again and I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone in need of any of the services you provide. You indeed have a great bunch of human beings working here. All my very best regards to each and everyone of you and a deep and sacred bow for the outstanding service I received here. The staff were 50/50 on the scale of helpful and friendly. Lyniesha is the ONLY nice person there that I've been personally talking to there for help or anything. One manager there said they would refund my $31.99 - this has been a year of empty promises and unanswered phone calls to the office (12/11/2022 -12/11/2023) and still no word or anything to indicate that they're doing something to help fix this. Manager's name is Owen Gagnon or Tucker Owens. If you are able to get this resolved that would bring ALL of my scores to 5 stars, my phone number is 407-556-5470. Other than that, and being unable to talk to a live human being on the phone (corporate) for this issue, I'm still satisfied with U-Haul

The only reason I changed to another storage facility is because of the ceiling size and the lack of availability of larger units. I had another storage unit in Wilbraham along with this one, and unfortunately I couldn’t consolidate them both into U-Haul. So I sadly, and I’m not happy about the choice, had to choose one because of the cost. Once I reduce the contents of the other place, I will be back for sure. Thank you for such great service and a wonderful place.

The only thing I would suggest is blanket 24 hour access, subject to reasonable conditions. People have varying schedules, & this would eradicate need to approve or deny special permission access except in the rarest instances.

raised my monthly payments without telling me or notifying me & just taking auto pay out of bank accnt. was a loyal customer for 3 years and got taken advantage of. the general manager did reimburse like 50-60 which i appreciate but it’s nothing compared to the thousands i spent renting with u-haul. also the other day i rented a u-haul truck they told me it’d be 9.34$ it ended up being like 50$ something i have the receipt and plan to call i’ve just been extra busy moving. but would love to speak with owen again my number is 4133122904 thank you :)

I would've rated an excellent if it wasn't for the mediocre customer service and knowledge of the business. Also, the off loading into the storage facility should be "policed". Customers have left their cars parked there unattended for hours and not in the facility.
