Customer service was horrible. The gentleman that cashed me out was awesome but the guy next to him was talking to me like a was a piece of crap. Talking down to me like I couldn't afford to rent a truck. He also told me he couldn't rent to me because I didn't have a major credit card which to his surprise I did have. First time I've ever needed a major credit card to rent a uhaul and I rent from uhaul very often. Never judge a book by its cover. He was very unprofessional.

The above questions don't address questions that are important to customers such as policies. The facility looks great, and the customer service people were courteous and helpful. However, I believe the advertising and rental policies are deceitful. I rented a 9' van to deliver goods for a nonprofit organization, picked up at 10 a.m. and dropped off two hours later. I rented the van believing the advertising on the website and the side of the van, $19.95 plus $.59 a mile. Although I'm fully aware that car rental agencies require one to purchase fuel in advance or return the car full, I was surprised by the additional fuel charge as there was no mention of fuel charge on the website or when I made the reservation in person. Therefore, I was stunned at checkout to be charged $12.60 for 3 gallons of fuel at $3.60/gallon when the total mileage from pickup to drop-off was 16 miles. I don't know of any vehicle that gets 5 miles/gallon and feel ripped off. I also believe that U-Haul wasn't honest, first in its advertising and second, in the amount I was charged for fuel. It may seem like a small amount of money, but every cent that's raised through fundraising is important for a small nonprofit, and I don't like squandering hard-earned money. I urge the company and customer service representatives to be more careful about explaining all costs likely to be incurred - optional insurance, fuel and fees in addition to the base price and mileage posted.

When I asked if there was another person that could help me, his response was, im just emailing my boss and continued on his phone for another 10 minutes. Will never do business with this location again!. Staff needs customer service training! I visited location on 12/16/2020 at approximately 1045am

Well, beginning communication was good, but once box arrived in Ocala they lost it. Found it, we removed some things, then they lost it again. They never answer the phone at the Ocala location and then they do not return messages. I would never ship there again. They tried to tell us the box got shipped back to MA.

All was excellent except website. I received ~$200 of merchandise I did not intentionally purchase when I booked my reservation on my cell phone. It is too hard to see or expect the default assumption that a customer wants this stuff. Adding my reservation to the cart also added much more useless and expensive merchandise.

I have had the trailer I reserved rented out on me three times in a row. It has left me with no trailer and scrambling to find a trailer to get my car to a event. Would not recommend to a friend.

Two days prior to pickup I was called and told there were no available 26 foot trucks. Did I want a 20 foot. I told Joe I would call him back. I thought about things and knew a 20 foot would never work so I called back with the intention of asking about another location. I called back about 5-10 minutes later and spoke with Joe who miraculously had a 26 foot truck that only need to be detailed and guaranteed this truck for my move. Moving day arrives and now not only do they not have a 26 foot. They have no trucks available. This was the worst customer service and I plan on taking action

The employees were very helpful. I approached different employees on the lot from arrival to the return, all were attentive, polite, and responded to my needs. Moving is stressful, but the people at this location were helpful, making this part of the process easy. I would recommend this location. In addition, there were enough staff around so that you were not waiting excessively.

The manager for this location is rude and sarcastic. I always go to this location and have excellent customer service. But when I went in the manager took 10 minutes to even greet me when Arrived. I called and made a complaint. I felt as though he was discriminating me because of my ethnicity. This man enjoy every second making my life difficult during my transaction. He also told me if I didn't give him a second phone number that I wouldn't be able to rent a U-Haul. I have gone to U Haul in the last eight months over 50 times and never have I ever had to do that. I also gave him my partners number and he called I am because I messed up on one of the numbers the phone call didn't go through. He persisted on telling me that he needed a real number or I won't be getting the U-Haul today this is absolutely unacceptable for somebody in management to act like this. I'm a manager for a business and I would have never treated one of my customers the way he treated me. This is not over until I get justification of why he acted this way. There needs to be solutions to the man action immediately.

The only reason I didn't give an "excellent" rating was your credit for unused month policy. I paid for the full month of October on 10/2 and emptied the unit on October 11 but was told there was no partial month credit for the unused 3 weeks. That was disappointing. Everything other than that was just about perfect. Great job all.

Extremely helpful at the West springfield Ma. facility. Jack was very helpful during my check in service for the truck. He was able to find me a solution for my storage. He was very professional. I truly was distraught over my situation but he resolved all my concerns. I highly recommend anyone looking to rent a Uhaul and/or storage issues go to West Springfield!!!!!

Reserved a unit with the impression that i had 24/7 access After i signed the contract and paid my fee the employee brought me to the unit.. once he opened the unit the alarm went off and then told me that they dont have any cards. i was not given a code to use either. i was also told they were open until 8, when i showed up at 7:05 the employees watched me walk up to the door and left in their cars.

Our only issue is that we moved out of the unit 12 days before the end of the month and the rent was not prorated. Like every other place, including the Post office issued a refund. UHaul should too.

Get your stuff together. I asked for a truck with a ramp. Get to the house to move, no ramp on the truck! Made moving very very very hard. Not enough space to explain everything else you did wrong.

After 6-8 months of renting a 10X10 unit I downgraded to a 5X10 unit which costs $89.99.But after a couple more months I was charged $104.99 for the unit before Ins and not sure why? Never told WHY?

Everything and everyone are great. But the doors to storage opened before I swiped my card allowing anyone into the facility. Swiping the card should open the doors making it more secure.

UHaul makes it hard to get a full UBox back. (1) By 11am day before delivery still no time estimate, so cd not schedule movers. (2) No sameday pickup; storage units won't let it stay overnight.

I didn't use the facility. I had two U-Boxes delivered/picked up at my location. There were hiccups, later solved, for delivery and pickup. For the latter, the driver never called to check on time.
