Reserved a 10’ truck and car dolly. When I got the location to pick up the equipment. They gave me a truck that had less than a half a tank of gas, told me if it’s not brought back with the same amount they charge me $5 per gallon. The truck was dirty and had some garbage from past use in the cab of the truck. THEN they sent me to a second location to pick up the car dolly. They had them at the place the truck came from according to the other store they actually had more. So who ever crawled up this guys ass prior to me showing up, thanks. LOL I do not recommend this place!

After being checked iut the sales associate gave me directions to get the truck , which were terrible directions. I to go back inside, have him come out to show me exactly which truck I was getting. While walking back out of the building he was moving like a snail because he was too occupied with a cell phone when his undivided , attention should have been with me as the customer. I had the truck for about an hour, arc went over the anticipated mileage, so I knew I would be charged a little more than the $35 I was originally charged but I never expected to be charged and extra $321. I was told it wasn't error made when adding the extra mileage but again , if staff was paying attention when doing when their job that probably would not have happened. I normally do business with the U-Haul on Boston road and never have these type of issues, maybe w. Spfld need to shadow the Boston road location.

My box arrived in Tallahassee FL on the correct date. However, it did not arrive for me to unload for 5 days later. We were told it would arrive on March 29th for unloading. We received a call confirming yet the box did not arrive. I called after waiting most of the day and I was told it did not make the schedule and it would arrive April 2 nd which was the earliest they could deliver. It would arrive between 10 and 12. By 4 it had not arrived. Was told it would be the next day between 12 and 2. At 4 it had not arrived and again I called to ask where it was. It finally arrived at 5:15. The empty box was to be picked up between 10 and 12 the next day. It was finally picked up 4 days later after my calling.

I am Disabled after suffering a Traumatic Brain Injury my side effects are with my daily. While making my reservation I was told I therecwould be U-Haul employees to help me unload the truck and get to the storage locker then I was told there was no one there. I stuffer the locker full and an extremely difficult time unloading a filing cabinet off the truck - it is standing up straight in the locker - laying on the floor not upright.

I was charge for additional day 2xs on a rental for a business account. Within the same month a week apart. The store doesn't answer often. Calling center is more helpful, I shall see if the the returns are made on my behalf.

My rental was great; I'd initially tried to rent a trailer but didn't have the lights connector on my vehicle, and the GM told me that I couldn't use the vehicle. I came back with a vehicle that had the light connector, and the GM was able to keep my original reservation and modify the car so I didn't have to go through the effort of making a new reservation. After my referral, I dropped off the trailer in the return lane per the instruction of an employee. When I received my receipt, I saw I was charged for a second rental period and an after-hours fee, but after calling U-Haul customer service, everything was resolved: the GM called me within minutes of my service call and left a voicemail telling me that he's going to be refunding the mistaken additional charges. Everything was great for a process that had some turn backs (some of which were my own fault). Definitely going to that location instead of some of the other U-Haul locations in the area

The reason for my three stars was because the UBOXES were placed in incorrect area in my property when it arrived to Florida. I had specific instructions and she parked them right in front of my garage. The placement I assigned was firm, not on dirt nor grass. I was unable to get into my garage for a week. The U-HAUL in my local area were not flexible with the pick up date knowing the inconvenience. Overall, I was able to fit my 2.5 bedroom home into two uboxes (pretty spacious). They did arrive on time the day they did schedule for drop off and pick up.

This location might be my favorite of any u-haul location ever visited. The place keeps the trucks moving thru the check in 2 or 3 lanes. I pulled in took a picture of the dashboard for mileage and gas and just as my feet not the ground that dude was right there. Not quite 8:00 am on another cold morning and he was ready and moving!!!

As soon as I left the UHaul location, the rental truck's "Check Engine" light came on, then a few miles later the ABS light came on. Next day the "Check Fuel Cap" light came on. I had trouble with the roll-up door, there was a roller missing, allowing it to jam when opened. I expected a truck ready to, and safe for the road. I don't think this truck was properly checked and serviced before sent out to rental. Roadside assistance offered to come out and address the issues.

The cargo trailer I had reserved was not on-site when I had arrived. Due to a recent snow storm, it had been moved to a covered facility down the street. The desk agent went off with a truck to tow it back to where I was. He was quite helpful and made sure I had the right equipment that I was paying for so there would be no confusion at the drop off point. He apologized for the delay. The pick-up went smoothly except for that, but was understandable.

Key Drop Box was impossible to find. We searched the entire property and could not find it. Then online, no instructions. Finally, my wife discovered it BEHIND a massive truck. The truck had been backed up to block the entire key box. Even accessing it was very difficult and we had to wedge ourselves behind the truck to be able to just about reach the box and open it to get the key in. We almost gave up several times trying to find the Key Drop Box. Please rectify this issue. Truck was pretty dirty on receipt. Needed a good rinse out.

U haul boxes worked out well for our long distance move-- Boxes showed up on time -- and where picked up on time. Plenty of moving blankets to keep your furniture and fragile items safe. Would definitely use again if I have the need.

Waited 30 mins for them to find the key, then the truck I rented battery was dead, ended up having to take a new truck. Originally I was quoted $80 if I agreed to drop it off at a different location. Cashier overcharged me and then told me my drop off location would fix it. This didn’t sound right so I called back later that night and the manager wasn’t very kind and kept saying they didn’t charge me $119, that it was a hold and after I returned it- it would change to $80 + tax/fees. I wake up in the morning before returning my uhaul and was charged the $119. I go to my drop off location where it’s explained to me that they’re not able to fix it, it’s Springfields issue. The Northampton location called the Springfield location for me and the manager said he would call me later. He never called, I just woke up to a email about the refund, with no apology or explanation. This was my first time renting a uhaul and it was definitely a bad one.

The passenger side wiper was broken, the ramp was covered in Ice which I slipped on while carrying a grand father clock up the ramp which caused me to fall, and suffer a facial laceration & contusion. There was only one staff member in the retail area which caused a 30 minute delay in my schedule.the fuel was below stated level on invoice.

You can include the packing supplies ordered in the box when it's delivered... I ordered stuff because I didn't have a vehicle so I couldn't get to the uhaul office 40 miles away. The only thing that kept me from an excellent rating at this time was the presence of mice or rat droppings noted in my storage unit when I moved out. I don’t know how long that had been the case but there were no rodent or bug issues in the past. The facility itself is kept very clean. Overall I have had an excellent experience with this UHaul. The guy was rude towards his female coworker and to me. He made some comment that she was his supervisor but neglected to do something. He shouldn't do that in front of a customer. The women was very nice to me and I sensed he had something against her and communication between them compromised. She was very busy and should have realized it and been more supportive.

I think the sign at the recycle center is a bit confusing. It can be interpreted that you can donate as long as it is in good condition, including mattresses and boxsprings. An employ explained to me yesterday that they are not allowed at all. I think that the notice should say that they are not allowed at all and if left there will be the fine. I understood the sign to say that if it was not in good condition, then the fee will be charged. I only closed my storage unit because I found stable housing abider being homeless for a while. I was able to use the storage unit for what it was needed for.

I think that a customer paid a full month on the storage an only used one week instead of four they should get those extra weeks that they didn’t use reimbursed. You keeping that money and then re- renting the spot again, you making double the money on one spot.

This facility is OUTSTANDING ACROSS THE BOARD‼️ I had this unit just days short of 4 YEARS. MUCH LONGER THAN I HAD INTENDED. I had the opportunity to interact with this staff on a monthly basis. On my move in/ out I also rented a truck and equipment. I just don't have enough positive remarks to say. The staff was CONSISTENTLY pleasant, helpful and willing/;ABLE to answer all of my questions and concerns. Jessie and Julia were particularly helpful to me during some difficult turns in the road throughout the time I had this unit. I can honestly say the West Springfield U-Haul staff raise the bar in outstanding customer service at a time when it's become a lost part of our society. IF only everywhere I went and everyone I encountered in my daily affairs were so bright, pleasant, knowledgeable and helpful our world would be a better place. This facility is consistently sparkling clean as well. If I could give these folks 10 stars I would. They all deserve it. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart for making both of these traditional times in my life as smooth as they possibly could be. Please know you made a difference in my life if only for brief moments in time. I would not hesitate to use West Springfield U-Haul if the need arises again and I HIGHLY recommend this facility to anyone in need of any of the services you provide. The staff were 50/50 on the scale of helpful and friendly. Lyniesha is the ONLY nice person there that I've been personally talking to there for help or anything. One manager there said they would refund my $31.99 - this has been a year of empty promises and unanswered phone calls to the office (12/11/2022 -12/11/2023) and still no word or anything to indicate that they're doing something to help fix this. Manager's name is Owen Gagnon or Tucker Owens. If you are able to get this resolved that would bring ALL of my scores to 5 stars, my phone number is 407-556-5470. The only reason I changed to another storage facility is because of the ceiling size and the lack of availability of larger units. I had another storage unit in Wilbraham along with this one, and unfortunately I couldn’t consolidate them both into U-Haul. So I sadly, and I’m not happy about the choice, had to choose one because of the cost.
Once I reduce the contents of the other place, I will be back for sure. Thank you for such great service and a wonderful place.

was a loyal customer for 3 years and got taken advantage of. the general manager did reimburse like 50-60 which i appreciate but it’s nothing compared to the thousands i spent renting with u-haul.

They be calling you for money even after you put in. Your move out date and they were to process it within 48 and nope still nothing. 9 days later they call you for money and you had to tell them you put in a move out and sent pictures.

I have no complaints about the staff, cleanliness, and general maintenance of the space. Thank you. The limited nighttime hours, though, was a disappointment, and the key pass arrangement was confusing and bothersome. Some signage explaining rules was wrong making it hard to know "what to do and whom to call" after the office closed. Also the requirement to purchase a specific lock was petty, and the way staff (management) communicated that (blocking out my lock) was annoying.

The unit was great and all staff were nice. However not being reimbursed for unused time that was already paid for, is a bad practice. The only reason I didn't give an "excellent" rating was your credit for unused month policy. I paid for the full month of October on 10/2 and emptied the unit on October 11 but was told there was no partial month credit for the unused 3 weeks. That was disappointing. Reserved a unit with the impression that i had 24/7 access After i signed the contract and paid my fee the employee brought me to the unit.. once he opened the unit the alarm went off and then told me that they dont have any cards. i was not given a code to use either. i was also told they were open until 8, when i showed up at 7:05 the employees watched me walk up to the door and left in their cars.

Get your stuff together. I asked for a truck with a ramp. Get to the house to move, no ramp on the truck! Made moving very very very hard. Not enough space to explain everything else you did wrong.

After 6-8 months of renting a 10X10 unit I downgraded to a 5X10 unit which costs $89.99.But after a couple more months I was charged $104.99 for the unit before Ins and not sure why? Never told WHY?

Everything and everyone are great. But the doors to storage opened before I swiped my card allowing anyone into the facility. Swiping the card should open the doors making it more secure.

My storage unit got flooded every time it rained, I kept all my belongings at this location while I found a place for my family and a lot of my belongings were ruined. Unexpected for this brand.

UHaul makes it hard to get a full UBox back. (1) By 11am day before delivery still no time estimate, so cd not schedule movers. (2) No sameday pickup; storage units won't let it stay overnight.

I didn't use the facility. I had two U-Boxes delivered/picked up at my location.
There were hiccups, later solved, for delivery and pickup. For the latter, the driver never called to check on time.
