The manager at 6040 Westpark dr, Houston location went out of her way to accommodate us. I was so grateful not to have to find another different Uhaul location where my rental truck had actually been rerouted to be dropped off yesterday morning . She actually saved me a lot of time and aggravation by making it an easy drop off and go style experience! She was super knowledgeable, personable, and had a positive attitude which made the experience even more delightful. Thanks!

The attendant who leased me the vehicle was very rude, unprofessional, seemed very irritable and was short with me. If I asked him a question or for more details, he would throw the question back at me. For example, my online receipt wasn't showing the item details of the boxes I ordered, so I asked if he could tell me, then he asked me very rudely "you don't know what you ordered?". He was a tall African American gentleman. I unfortunately didn't get his name because I just wanted to be done with him. He also didn't check to include the dolly I ordered so if I hadn't remembered, I would've left without it. It was just a terrible customer experience so far. Even still don't understand all the charges for my rental as he wouldn't explain when I asked, only to ask me if I didn't look up what I booked. It was ridiculous. He just looked angry to be there. I usually never make comments, but this was required

Customer service could have been much better with a smile. Second its not about the location, but they charge me per mileage and then fuel charges. I drove the truck for 19 miles only and returned in 2 hours window. U Haul charged me $78 for 10 feet truck :( wow

Fuel gauge read lower than marked on invoice. Invoice showed one quarter while guage indicated one eighth. There was a low fuel warning when I got into the truck. I had to stop for fuel immediately. The truck had not been swept out. There was a grit in the back of truck. I rent often and fuel is often inaccurate. First time the truck has been dirty.

Richard Winters had the worst attitude with me. He refused to help me and gave me terrible customer service. He refused to give me his name and was very rude. It's so sad because the rest of the staff was kind and the manager handle it pretty great. I unfortunately won't be using this location any longer.

The person in the front desk did not give any details on how to return the truck using the app or the website. He told us to verify the fuel tank levels and we took a picture of it. However, he never mentioned anything on what to do if the fuel tank was not full or did not match the level reported in the contract. We were charged 13.50 dollars for three gallons of fuel that we did not use.

You should let people know ahead of time what is required to confirm their identity when checking in online to pick up the reserved vehicle. I had no indication of what is required for the second level of verification.

Not recommending to anyone. Charges way more. For 4 miles I was charged $23.85 fuel and they don't listen to us. I used uhaul previously but was never charged this way. Worst place for uhaul. I went there because it was just next door but no more in future.

I had some trouble at check in and ended up with 2 trucks assigned to me. I'm still not sure that it's been fixed as the lady at the return location thought i was returning 2 trucks. But, the most unappealing parts of the location were the individuals waiting outside the gate to harass you for work and the lack of parking.

I ordered and paid for a 20 foot truck and was given a 15 foot truck and lied to about it being the right truck when I asked, was not refunded the different either which is fraud and no one here seems to care but they will when I tell everyone the way they treat customers.

Checking out the Truck was Great! But the return one gentleman met me at van and checked me in he was very nice. The Gentleman behind counter was crazy kept telling me the van was was in a different nam, even stated I must have rented it at another location. I said come on it's not that hard to print a receipt he then started yelling at me. I said I can get my original I just put it in my car. He continued yelling at me as I walked out. I came back in a brought receipt he didn't even look at it. I asked for a manager he said she outside. The whole time I was standing there I could here young children screaming in the Room next door. That is not professional at all bringing kids to a work environment like yours. Carmen came in and walked him through the process to recall receipts. All he had to do was say I'm new and in training my Manager will be here in a few minutes. So he's not off to a good start with your company and will cause a toxic work place.

The location was NOT the one is Westpark. It was the one in Westheimer and Highway 6. I was lucky enough to talk to a girl (I think her name was Aileen or Eileen) who was super helpful. However, I have to say that I went to 6 locations in Houston close to my house in the Galleria area, and nobody could give me reliable information about the product Uhaul Box Storage, except in the Westheimer and Highway 6 location. The rest was GREAT. However, I want to say something else: talking to you over the phone is an ordeal. It is extremely painful to wait for sooooooo long and on top of that, having to listen to that person endlessly. You need more people in your customer service department.

This was my first ever U-Haul rental and the experience was horrible. The representative at the store was extremely unpleasant and rude to me for no apearant reason except that I was wearing my traditional clothes and this i think was the only reason he discriminated against me. He is a disaster kind of guy for being in customer service and I am saying this coz I myself work in customer service and I know how to treat customers and not at least be rude to them. He was treating other customers much better and you can see this on the camera. The horrible experience does not stop there. The next day I got a bill of 163$ instead of 49 + some 5 more and the bill said I have not filled gas and he had to fill 13 more gallons and charged me 85 for it. I have the before and after pictures of the fuel gauge and mileage. I only drove it exactly 20 miles and filled 7 gallons and the fuel gauge was showing more gas then when I got it. He marked the fuel about a quarter filled on paper. If you think he made a mistake, 13 more gallons would almost fill the tank which can also be verified by when he gave the truck to the next person which clearly means this guy racially discriminated against me. I can prove him being discriminated to me with all proofs and want someone to contact me so I can report the issue or I can just go about and post the whole experience on social media.
