We bought the extra coverage. The trailers wiring was faulty and caused our vehicle to not start in the morning. I called uhaul and they told Me the coverage doesn't cover this type of problem. I would never rent from uhaul again nor would I get extra coverage whne I can't use it whne the problem is the actual uhaul trailer. IrritatedMatthew H.

Gas level wasn't properly documented upon picking truck up, truck was empty and barely made it to the fuel station. Was told fuel level was right under the 1/4 tank. The van I rented had the service tire light and the tire sensor light on the whole time I used. I did not have any problems with the equipment, but if all the tire needed was air, someone could have put that in.MICHAEL M.

Immediately upon walking up to the desk the employees/attendants began bickering- arguing about who had to do the work to check me in. Mind you this is being done in front of my child who I work hard to instill the values of hard work. Next the employees rented me out the older of the two vans which were available. The part that bothered me the most was when I tried renting the van out another day the store itself seemed to deny the request while passing me along to a corporate dept. This was more of a hassle than anything. I will rent from enterprise next time because this entire ordeal was less than satisfactory. Mind you there are now fraudulent charges also on my card of which was used at only three places uhaul being one of them. Life storage being another and a local food place Tunis being a third I don't frequent. All in all I expected more from a national outfit and thus entire rental was a waste of time. I sat on hold over 3 hours of my time which I regularly bill $500-$1000hr for just so your local reps wouldn't have to do their $14hr tasks. Uhaul you lost a customer for good on this one.brandon K.

Move the truck return location. Its too close to the entrance/exit. You can't exit the lot when return trucks are blocking the exit and the store is closed. Its suppose to have 24/7 service but if there's a problem you can't get help til after 9:00 a.m.MARCELLA S.

I had more gas in it when I returned the truck and they said it was less. If I didn't put as many miles on the truck and returned it two days early, and had more gas then what was in it at the beginning, I figured I would get some type of refund, no partial refund at all.Chris A.

Overall everything went well. We did have to call the Roadside mechanic for help with the loading ramp. The ramp would not return into the truck body. We lost about two hours with large hammers and a grinding wheel on the ramp pull-out 'stops'. We canceled the call for Roadside help.John G.

The check in process was terrible. The truck had ZERO gas when I got it. Almost ran out getting to the nearest gas station. We ordered blankets and a dolly, both of which were not in the truck when we picked it up (after hours). I will not be back to this location and I don't recommend anyone do business here.Jordan B.

The wire harness for the lights was not on the trailer. it took the employee 10-15 minutes to find a harness. One of the strap ratchets was in poor working condition. It was very difficult to use.Ron B.

The majority of the truck was clean - an empty water bottle behind the drivers seat and a few crumbs of popcorn - neither that big of a problem but the broken bits of crack pipe in the â€œmom's atticâ€ area were a little disappointing. To be fair - that could have been there a while, we just needed to wipe that area down prior to use and therefore found a few pieces.Naomi B.

I expressed my concerns with my experience to the staff. They were apologetic, even though there was nothing they could do to make the situation better. They greeted me very quickly when I pulled up to drop the truck and the return process was quick and easy. Very kind and professional staff, and they appeared to be very young so that was a nice surprise. But again, when I picked up my truck the day before, after already starting off with a bad experience, I was very specific (again) about the location I wanted to return the truck. The rep typed the dropoff location into the computer at pickup but AGAIN, I received a text changing my dropoff location. I have no idea why my dropoff location was changed, and neither did the staff at that location. I am not sure if you are using customers to shuttle your trucks to where you need them to be for the next rental but if that is the case, another fail as I see it on the part of Uhaul. This rating was for my pick and returned location. Upon getting home with the equipment i started experiencing a problem. I tried calling that location and was unable to speak with anyone there. Once at the drop off location my experience was worse the delay and turn was so unnecessary. Over the years there have been problems with mold in my unit. Mold covered my items. I couldn’t save many of my items unfortunately. The ceiling of the indoor facility needs to be cleaned often. I think Uhaul needs to allow their employees more room when it comes to dealing with irate customers. The customers I saw them deal with were rude yet they handled it EXCELLENT with poise, dignity and grace. To actually pull into the parking lot was a mess as soon as you turn in that’s where they clean and rent out trucks so someone was always blocking the way the lights in the unit only stay on for a very short period of time about 2 minutes I’m so happy I have my belongings out of this place.
