Our battery died 10 min after parking. Roadside assistance was very helpful but we had to wait and hour and half for them. Not including the time we spent on hold and on the phone trying to reach uhaul service.

Update the U-Haul website to clarify you can't use a temporary license. MA provides a temporary license when moving from another state while your official one is being processed.

I had to pick up something at Lowe's and wouldn't fit in my car. Tramaine Newberry was my representative that helped me, I usually delete any emails or requests for a review unless I had a bad experience or not just a good experience but an enjoyable/excellent experience!!! Today was BOTH for me with Tramaine! I could tell and see him work in and out Tramaine is an extremely dedicated employee that goes above and beyond to make sure the customers are his #1 priority! I hope this review doesn't just get unnoticed and that someone gives some well deserved recognition to Tramaine! His type of customer service is unfortunately extremely hard to find, I hope UHaul has already recognized this and if not I wish you would now, even a small little "atta boy" email goes a long way for someone! Tramaine provided fantastic customer service both at pick up and drop off and was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with--he made the experience five star for me. The truck was fine...it didn't have windshield washer fluid and it had less gas in it than the contract claimed at pickup (I have a picture) but the $14 fuel charge isn't a big deal.

Drop off experience was completely different. I was greeting right away and expressed my frustration on the pick. He was very understanding and suggested I comment back and speak to a manager. He could not beleive I was giving such a bad truck and treated that way. Drop was quick and easy with good customer service.

Really appreciated the fast, efficient truck rental from Jonathan! Went so smooth. I loved that the pictures of the vehicles exterior condition came to my phone right after I got the keys to compare and accept before I drove off! Really Nice feature. The return was fast and easy; Matt helped me get a needed second storage container immediately when we returned. And Sal set it up right away. No waiting. They exceeded my expectations, and made me feel welcome, cared for, and worry-free, and provided any information I needed. A freak weather-related occurrence took off one of the side mirrors, and they calmly and graciously handled it, never flinching. They made my problem theirs. He proactively called me about the rental return & assured me that I wouldn't be charged more, although I was behind schedule. He also guided me through a new-to-me storage service and again emphasizing his flexible accommodations. Windows were dirty inside vehicle. Need more help... takes to long for process. Your people very friendly and helpfull! Tremaine helped me out when vehicle was giving to me with 1/4 tank of gas. Made sure I would not be charged for full tank when returned!

Again, issues with scheduling dept. This was to be my first drop off location. It was changed with the second truck to a location closer to my storage facility. In the end, the contract for the replacement truck reflected original address anyway. My inability to rent the larger truck necessitates another truck rental and move to transport everything for which there wasn't enough room in the smaller truck. One big headache!

When I arrived at this location I went inside to get my key for the uhaul van I just rented. To find the building empty and after waiting 10 minutes with another customer we went searching. Outside we found three men who were not wearing masks, not maintaining proper social distance and touching one another often. I became nervous as I saw they had no masks even on them and they made no attempt to get one. All three of them entered the main building still not wearing masks and surrounding the other customer which I could tell made him uncomfortable. I waited for the other two workers as they kept getting to close to me and I had to keep jumping back into corners to evade them. The man at the counter still wore no mask and tried to put the keys in my hand. When I politely asked them to put them on the counter (as I avoid hand to hand contact), he sarcastically said "well good thing I'm giving you a new, "clean" van". Implying that I was the problem in the situation and just being a germaphobe. I will avoid this location whenever possible, especially during the pandemic. I will be reporting this location to multiple agencies to hopefully make it safer for others. AVOID AT ALL COST DURING THESE DANGEROUS TIMES.

Mathew Lee was an outstanding uhual representative. There was an influx of customers who don't know how to check in via the internet and Mathew took care of them all accordingly; despite being the only employee in the store. Will definitely go uhual again if matt is there.

I rent storage space here and regularly rent trucks. Staff person sent text to a very old land line we had years ago and then questioned me about why I did not load in my license that I was holding up throughout. He would not advise me on getting internet to load my license. I used to be very happy with staff at this location - now ......

The return location for my rental was to be in Hanover, MA. At pick-up the representative told me if I returned the truck in Quincy I would save money. After I agreed to this she told me that the "system" was not accepting the assignment of Quincy so I should call the location prior to dropping off. After a long conversation with a representative who I later found was on the West Coast she transferred my call to Gabriel Nye a reservation manager. After some work on his part I was able to return the truck to Weymouth. During the process I told Gabriel I had a truck and no where to return it. By driving around to these locations I would be adding miles and fuel to my bill. He saw that this was a U-Haul created problem and said he would issue me a $50.00 refund based on the rental guarantee. The charge for the truck has hit my credit card bill, the refund is no where in sight.

The trailer that was reserved was not the one picked up and we had to use a very outdated trailer that did nothing have long enough straps. The straps were a concern before taking the trailer but we were assured they were full length and would fit but were in fact cut and we had to cut our own straps to make it work. We use uhaul often and are very unhappy with this rental.

I've used the Quincy location twice and was horrified both times that I was being taken advantage of and money was going into their pockets behind the owners backs so I was thrilled to use a different franchisee. Everything in Weymouth was night and day. The gentleman at the counter grabbed our equipment and carried it to the truck instead of handing it off to us. The gentleman at the utility equipment location went out if his way to make sure we had what we ordered. When returning the truck the same gentleman just asked us to leave the keys in the truck and he'd handle everything else regarding the return which was a welcome thought as we were exhausted at that point. Like I said night and day. I'd go out of my way to use Weymouth rather than Quincy. Even though I didn't use all the extras I rented I wasn't looking for a refund because it's no ones fault I didn't use it but was grateful to have it just in case. Thank you Weymouth for making a day I dreaded into a smooth effortless day!!!

Everything went really well. You helped to calm my nerves when I first saw the unit. I did not think that what I had in the truck would fit the unit. You assured it would. It DID. Everything worked out really well. The only issue that I had was with the pass. It sometimes, many times took two or three swipes to work. It hardly ever worked with one swipe. The card is an excellent way for us to access the stuff we have in storage, and you had equipment to help me move the volume of stuff much more easily. My only issue is the swipe card. It almost always took 2 or 3 swipes to open the door. Everything else went very well. All of my stuff in storage was well kept. I already had a UHaul lock for the space that I got from last time using you folks. That worked out really well. Thank you for what you do and how you work with the people who use your service. I came at 2 different times when you had a high volume of customers, but you folks handled each and everyone of us with respect and gave us time so we felt like we mattered. Great job to all the staff people.

Yesterday was a very busy day. I am glad I made reservations. Everything worked out really well. Staff were pleasant, friendly, and took the time I needed to figure things out. The truck worked well. When I got back I had doubts my truck load would fit into the space they reserved for me. They were right. Everything worked out really well. first time ever storing anything with uhaul. Does not explain well how to get in to building, even with checkin online it wouldnt allow me in so i had to find a staff member. He was very busy with trucks/phone/ other customers since he was only employee there. When i went to put more items in storage it said access denied since i didnt check out, but not explained anywhere that i saw how to do it.

Communication with management was poor at best. improper billing and no one knowing what is going on helps to fuel a fire of inconsistency and extremely poor customer service. I would not recommend this specific location to anyone.

I was extremely disappointed with today’s experience. I always use uhual for my moves and never had such a bad experience before. The Weymouth facility was understaffed and one staff member wasted one whole hour of my time by not giving me my storage unit keys when I went to pick up the truck. I had to pay my movers extra for the wait time. When I asked questions about my storage unit he seemed clueless also reluctant to show me my unit. He also would waste time flirting and joking with customers . Ridiculous
