Meriam, the counter agent, was working alone and also had to check out and hook up the equipment. This is too big a job for one person at such a busy location. She handled it very well and is good to work with.

Gas gauge broken. Cargo area dirty with previously spilled motor oil/fuel. Truck *looked* to be in good mechanical condition and staff was friendly and prompt in check out. After arriving home to load the truck and opening the rear it smelled of a nasty oil or diesel fuel and you could see someone in the past had spilled oil and there was residue at the front of the cargo area that I had to put paper down so it wouldn't stain my boxes. Upon checking out the truck, I checked the mileage and fuel level and noted it was just above the halfway mark and lower than the paperwork said it should be. I had an employee come out an note it on my paperwork. Before dropping the truck off that evening I stopped to get fuel after driving ~24 miles at that point. I put in the recommended amount of fuel according to the estimated amount printed on the invoice and went to check the gauge in the truck but it was still jut above the halfway mark. I kept removing the fuel nozzle, putting the cap back on, starting the truck and even jumping on the bumper to rock the truck but the gauge wasn't moving past just over half. After putting in 8.6 gallons and figuring the truck wasn't getting under 3 mpg I said screw it and decided to just drop it off as-is. Just after pulling out of the gas station and driving over a few bumps the gauge suddenly jumped up to over 3/4 tank. I stopped back in the next day when the office opened after having already been billed and the gentleman said they couldn't do anything on Sunday and at best I could write a review and it would be checked by the owner/management. When you have to keep dumping fuel in so you don't get charged a fuel refill fee for returning low, but the gauge isn't working and you can't tell how much you need to put in doesn't seem right, especially when it apparently wasn't working and was reading low/off at checkout as noted on my paperwork by the U-Haul employee.

You can not send them a confirmation for a trailer at the Location they want then change it to a different one farther away then change it back to the original then send them to the uhaul place that was in the same town they were moving from. The Weymouth uhaul place was the very nice so I would say that location is the best.

Manager would not extend the rental by two hours and would not provide a larger truck - telling me that 1) the truck I was renting was booked at 4pm and 2) that they had completely booked every truck for the whole day. This was Saturday 5/14. When I returned at 4pm (not able to get everything done I wanted) the lot was full of trucks. I was highly doubtful that the entire lot was booked - I really could have used a larger truck. I also had to wait over 30 minutes to return the truck. The manager was not there.

It wb convenient if you could drop off rental truck at a different local u haul location without adding "hundreds" more to the rental as I was told. Everything on the rental is in the u hual system. What's the difference if the truck is returned five miles away from where it was rented? U hual has the right to send me to another location if they don't have my rental. What's up with the one-sided policy?

I rented a 10' truck for one day in weymouth ma. I was instructed to return it to Stoughton Ma. I had 30 miles for free, but because I had to return it many miles away incurred extra mileage charges. Not fair. Also, I returned truck with more gas than when I picked it up. Should be some way of crediting that towards the extra mileage

When I reported to the manager that the truck I rented that had over 108K miles on it and that it drove poorly to the extent that it took more time for me to conduct a delivery, I asked for a review and rebate. The manager, Thomas Lund was very stand off and had not interest in considering my complaint in fact he challenged me that my complaint was not valid. He offered me a 25 VIP of which I told him I did not need that and wanted a reduction in what I was charged. The quality of the truck was poor and I would not have taken it had I known it was not going to move past 1st gear! I also did not appreciate the customer service at this location the lady who assisted me when I arrived was very rude and acted like I was a bother to her - she had no personality and just acted like a robot! I the worst service I have seen and I don't just complain about small things - this location must have a great business due to the location and its unfortunate that I would not go there the next time and deal with this poor service. The manager called to tell me he was crediting me 15% and 11. 36 when in fact he charged me the full 64.38 and the I had to call to find out he will be reversing the first charge of 75.74 - again just very bad service and believe this manager needs to know.

Make sure that the person completing the return has functioning equipment. His phone wasn't working, so I had to call an hour and a half after I returned the truck to ask them to confirm that the return had gone through, as I never received an email and wasn't given any paperwork upon my departure.

Sales people in general need some training on customer service. Not sure if woman salesperson has the capacity to see a dentist...she has some severe issues and they are causing an odor that it evident when she speaks to clients.
