calling the 800 # was very difficult. Not helpful, customer service agents talked me into renting van for 4h then next day said anything over 4h would be another charge (despite $19/day advertised), very frustrating to deal with, then they hung up on me. The agent that checked me out was great. Best part of experience

Hire more employees. There was one person at the desk trying to help two people at the same time because the line kept getting longer and longer. He did a great job trying to juggle everything, but it is clear that he could have used some help.

Very good service. Just one observation: I've been renting UHaul vehicles off and on since 1969 and had never once, not ever, been told that the rental reservation would be held only for an hour after the appointed time. The Weymouth clerk was good enough to call me and alert me when I was a little late in showing up. I don't say you don't have the right to impose this condition, but you should make the condition plain to renters at the time of rental. Losing a reservation would mess up a renter's plans for moving help, for hotel reservations en route interstate, etc.

despite the fact u-haul threatens a charge for returning equipment dirty the trailer I rented was full of sand. I had to clean it before I could use it to move my furniture. U-haul should be giving me the cleaning fee in the form of a refund! Other than that the people and service at the location were excellent.

I called both the Uhaul location from which I rented the truck and the customer service 800 number multiple times on two different days, one to communicate the need to keep the truck an extra day, starting at about 10am, and the next day to communicate the need to return the truck after hours. At no point did anyone answer the phone and I remained on hold for a total of about 2.5 hours. On the first day, I finally tried the live chat on uhaul.com, and I still received no response from a representative after having the window open for about 40 minutes. The only time I was able to speak to anyone was when I was called by the employee at the location I was supposed to return the truck to, only after the truck was already late. Additionally, when I tried to do the after hours return, the "share my location" button would not work. The button itself would respond as if it was pressed, but the webpage did not react at all to update and continue as it should have at the push of the button. As I am not a dumb ass, it is safe to assume that I was doing it correctly and attempted it multiple times, including refreshing the page, starting from the very beginning, and completely rebooting my internet app to start over again. The only positive experience with Uhaul this time around were with the employees themselves at the Weymouth, MA store. You people really need to answer the fucking phone. You have no idea how pissed off I was/am about that.

Every time I called they would say something different than the last time. I scheduled a one way weymouth to boston. I got my confirmation and they said I was scheduled a round trip weymouth. Got that fixed and when I wanted to schedule a drop off the guy said call the number to get the location. I called and they said I was scheudled for drop off in somerville because that was the given move address. wrong..the contract stated boston. SO ANNOYING.

when we came back to return the truck there wasn't any space to park under the tent out front, we had to park elsewhere. maybe give the customers advice on where to park, as a second option if needed. ty
