The truck brakes were grinding the truck broke down and I was still charged . I'm not a happy customer and won't be using uhaul again if I can help it. The truck needed maintenance yet it was still rented to me in disrepair . Being charged as well was indulging .

The truck that I rented was a piece of garbage. Transmission took forever to shift, shocks were worn out and the cabin was so loud that I felt like I was inside a jet engine. GET SOME NEW TRUCKS.

Where do I begin? Normally I don't review things, and I give the benefit of the doubt about lots of things. But this was absolutely terrible and needs to be spoken about. I would love to hear from a representative and get my money back for all of this. Just terrible. I had reserved a 26ft truck in Hanover, MA. about a month before my move. For an amazing price. A couple days later I decided to add a dolly and a half supply of moving rugs. When I did that, my reservation changed and the price skyrocketed about $150 more than I was originally supposed to pay. So I called customer service and waited about 45 minutes on hold. Finally reached someone, and the person had no clue what to do, and said all he could offer was pretty much nothing and I wasn't having that. He must've been pretty aggravated because he hung up on me. So I called back, a pleasant woman answered transferred me over to someone who could help, and it was fixed, so I thought.... 2 days before my move I get an email notification saying my reservation has been updated. U-Haul changed my truck size from a 26ft to 20ft, and switched the location way out of the way from where I was supposed to get it. The called the gentleman who was handling it at the time. He was pleasant, gave me more miles and an extra day to have it and was able to give me another location closer as well as back to my original price. but I could only get a 20ft truck. The day before I picked up the truck, I got a reservation update again saying they gave me a 26ft again. When I went to the Weymouth location, the gentleman there started off with an attitude, I asked to make sure everything was correct, the extra miles and extra night and all, and the original price. I had everything but the original price. I was not happy. And the guy there said there was nothing he could do, and they changed the drop off spot as well. I finally gave up, and took the truck. Got a truck with an empty tank of gas, so there was an extra $100 I had to pay, and the day of the move, I slide out the ramp, and there was broken glass all over it. I could honestly go on forever about this. Such a terrible terrible time, for an exciting and stressful moment in life, moving into a new first home, adding even way more stress.

The location in Brockton Ma, needs to improve their customer service skills. The young lady at the desk needs to improve the way she handles customer questions and issues and look to upper management if she encounters something she can't handle.

the front desk was wonderful and easy to work with, quick and efficient with check in and check out but the actual vehicle, the first one smelled like cigarette smoke so badly we had to switch then the next one had the same issue but instead of causing issues by complaining again we just rolled all the windows down not the most ideal scenario.

Originally had a reservation to pick up 5x8 covered trailer in Woburn ma uhaul.Made reservation a week in advance,I was notified the day before pick up that they or any other UHaul dealers around me had any 6X8 trailers available ,so I finally had to drive to Weymouth ma to pick up trailer.Better reservations would help,make sure that the rental is there for location and pick up.

Best customer service I have received in a long time! The Customer Service reps that checked me in were cleaning and moving the vans, assisting people at the desk, and dealing with enquiries on the phone. They had a great attitude - did not complain once about how busy they were, or how they were performing multiple duties at once. They walked me through the entire process, including the charges, returning after-hours, etc. Everything was explained clearly and thoroughly. The cargo van was so clean, and drove well! I am so impressed that I will recommend this location & definitely rent from this location exclusively in the future. Thank you for a great experience!!

I had originally had a reservation to drop off in Quincy, MA...but unannounced to me, the Quincy location had closed and I was unable to drop my rental off there. It would be helpful in the future if someone had told me that location was closed instead of changing it on me without notice.

Website advertised .99/mile. I was charged 1.09/ mile. Truck had not been swept before rental, metal debris in bed. I don't like that I have to work around a hand truck that is using cargo space that I'm paying for. Truck was too worn to be rented. I had to fight it on the road. When I reported this, Matthew just shrugged. Pretty obvious that he didn't care. When I'm paying U-Haul's high prices I expect better.

Uploading the license and a photograph of the mileage did not succeed because of poor network connectivity. Also, I was charged for extra miles. I took out and returned the truck to the same place. Doing so was supposed to have given me 64 "free" miles. However, I was charged for for more overage that I should have been. Otherwise, everything was OK. I have used Uhaul a lot and will continue to do so.

The manager here runs a tight ship. I've gotten propane, rented trailers, and most recently rented a van. Everything has been clean and well set up. The manager himself is fantastic to work with, and very helpful at returns time too. Yes, I would absolutely recommend this location to a friend.

The employees where well above excellent. Dropping off the vehicle was extremely pleasant, very well done. The one thing I would majorly complain about is all the hidden costs you apply. When you advertise $19.95 a day plus miles and the bill comes out to roughly $70, plus you still have to bring it back with the same amount of fuel. Some from $19.95 a day to $85 a day is a huge difference and false advertising.

I absolutely loved using the storage space! It was extremely easy to access, and I always knew it was safe. I utilized this facility for {several} years, as I am in aviation, and I needed it to jump start my career. When it came time to move out, management was committed to making everything as easy and safe as possible to send me over 700 miles away. They’ve been such a bug part of my life for so long, it was epic, and I recommend this facility to everyone

Complete Bullshit!! Reserved a pickup. Did not have one when I arrived. No apology. Said I can use a box truck. Proceeded to charge me more per mile for the box truck as opposed to the pickup. Used truck for 4 miles, put $2 of gas in. Was charged $30 and $4 per mile for gas. Mathew Lee should not be in customer service 5 pickups, 4 broken, one left and rented out before I got there.(did that person have a reservation, doubt it) $75 to use a truck I didnt reserve for an hour and a haat lf going 4 miles locally, I will never use that uhaul again and I will tell everyone my story. Id say to improve your service, dont let people reserve vehicles you dont have. Work on customer service skills!!

Make sure your wifi is working. Upon my reservation I had entered ALL of my information on my phone including my driver's license, but I could NOT connect my phone to the U-haul system upon arrival in Weymouth. I had to go inside, wait in line and re-enter ALL my information again. Not good if the client has been instructed to follow the Covid-19 protocol's.The vehicle was exactly what I deeded that day and the staff was very accomodating.

The store was understaffed. Nobody was at the desk when we went in. After about 5 mins someone showed up. Then it seemed to take forever to process our order on the computer, about 10 mins. Not sure if it was operator error or some type of computer glitch. On the plus side, the van was clean and performed well. I'd rent from this location again in the future.

Everything went really well. You helped to calm my nerves when I first saw the unit. I did not think that what I had in the truck would fit the unit. You assured it would. It DID. Everything worked out really well. The only issue that I had was with the pass. It sometimes, many times took two or three swipes to work. It hardly ever worked with one swipe. The card is an excellent way for us to access the stuff we have in storage, and you had equipment to help me move the volume of stuff much more easily. My only issue is the swipe card. It almost always took 2 or 3 swipes to open the door. Everything else went very well. All of my stuff in storage was well kept. I already had a UHaul lock for the space that I got from last time using you folks. That worked out really well. Thank you for what you do and how you work with the people who use your service. I came at 2 different times when you had a high volume of customers, but you folks handled each and everyone of us with respect and gave us time so we felt like we mattered. Great job to all the staff people.

Yesterday was a very busy day. I am glad I made reservations. Everything worked out really well. Staff were pleasant, friendly, and took the time I needed to figure things out. The truck worked well. When I got back I had doubts my truck load would fit into the space they reserved for me. They were right. Everything worked out really well. The staff were very supportive, and I was able to unload the truck and put everything into storage. Everything worked out really well. Thank you.

first time ever storing anything with uhaul. Does not explain well how to get in to building, even with checkin online it wouldnt allow me in so i had to find a staff member. He was very busy with trucks/phone/ other customers since he was only employee there. When i went to put more items in storage it said access denied since i didnt check out, but not explained anywhere that i saw how to do it.

I was extremely disappointed with today’s experience. I always use uhual for my moves and never had such a bad experience before. The Weymouth facility was understaffed and one staff member wasted one whole hour of my time by not giving me my storage unit keys when I went to pick up the truck. I had to pay my movers extra for the wait time. When I asked questions about my storage unit he seemed clueless also reluctant to show me my unit. He also would waste time flirting and joking with customers . Ridiculous

Although I had reserved a storage space and had advised as to the content of my 26' truck, there was no storage space large enough upon my arrival. I moved from Dallas to Weymouth - disappointing!
