Relative to other U-Haul locations Woburn is much easier to deal with. They hook up and unhook the trailer for you. Registration is online and for drop off they email the receipt. Can't get any easier than that so for me it's worth the extra distance to drive there.

Counter personal at pick up were useless and seemed like we were bothering them. They had the wrong address on the bill and the order was not complete. There was no dolly provided for the furniture (which we requested) and there was a regular dolly (whoch we did not need) we were charged for both and AFTER we noted we had not received the items they were adjusted off the bill. The address on the bill was not ours. We are on the second floor and I specifically asked for the 1st floor. We BELIEVE we were given someone else's reservation. This was not a great experience. You should be able to do better. the truck leaks.

you need to maintain your equipment the roof has leakage and it soak my customers furniture I will be liable gir water damage as a Pro Mover my Client is not Happy damage is done I return the equipment I showed the water leak to your personnel was very apologetic about it offer me a discount in rent but they never really done it instead of my original estimate of $61.34 they charge me $81 dollars more it will cost me more than$500 dollars in damages because of a leaky uhaul truck

Aye to improve. Do not rent out a truck that does not go in gear correctly. Driving down a highWay in first gear. Also reverse didn't work. But girls at the desk were told they were supposed to rent it. And it was the last truck so I had no choice but to drive the beater.

Rented a cargo van to move some furniture and it was super easy to drive. I used the 24/7 mobile option to pick up my truck but because the store was still opened I ended up inside picking up my key. I enjoyed the easiness of the mobile pickup. The only thing is it took me 10-15 minutes to complete and would have liked to know that ahead of time. Other than that. Everything was great. Would rent again if needed

Employee looked distracted or not too focused. I went in to rent a 6×12 trailer. As we were trying to hook.up.the trailer i noticed pile of yard waste and mentioned to the guy, he listened but no response. After spending good 40 to 45 minutes we weren't able to hook up the trailer. Then I changed my mind to get small truck and he end up giving me wrong keys to the truck. I guess he was either having a bad day or didn't feel like working that day. No one was wearing a face mask either.

I thought the accident/damage insurance pitch was a bit heavy handed. Overall, service was good. The cheapest thing was the rental, then everything that was tacked on made it an unexpectedly expensive ordeal just to rent a $19.95 van for four days which ended up being over $200 total.

After a horrible experience in Nashua, Nh, I had to go to Woburn. Hard to say if these guys were great or after leaving Nashua, they were just more helpful. Regardless, compared to Nashua, these guys were and looked more professional and actually were helpful or is that just doing your job?

I appreciate the free trial, but the problems I experienced began when I first checked in to my unit. The U-Haul website states that storage hours are until 10 pm and that I should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to closing on my first visit, but when I arrived at 6:45 hoping to store a mattress I was told that the units close at 6:55 and I would not have enough time to enter my unit, forcing me to return with my mattress. Additionally, shortly after beginning my free trial I was sent a bill for the first month's rent. I had to call to resolve this. I was then charged $3.65 without being told what the charge was for. Finally, I had a lock on my unit that I did not know U-Haul considered insecure. A new lock was placed on my unit without notifying me, causing me an embarrassing delay when I next tried to access my unit with one of my clients. Again, I appreciate the free trial (and lock), but I feel some improvements must be made, beginning with updating the website to reflect this site's accurate storage access hours.

Staff experience in the pst was very good. This time I was assigned a rental unit that was not available. Staff came back and assigned another rental unit, which was also locked, but he actually came without me needing to back to the office to remove the lock. There was a rat poison container in the unit which I gently pushed with my foot into the hallway. I did ask about a lock and the person helping me said there would be one for me in the unit, but there was not anything there. I will come back today with some additional storage materials and I guess will purchase a lock at the front desk. This rental is currently in my name, but I will try to switch it to our company name and address online. The person helping me was not exactly friendly, but this could be a cultural issue.

When I called to rent a trailer see location to don't have one in the manager told me he would not locate a trailer in another U-Haul location told me he does not do that to call the 800 number. When I called the Derry New Hampshire location they were kind enough to locate one for me in Manchester South Willow Street and also reserved it for me I feel the staff in Woburn is lazy and not very helpful even when I dropped it off I walked in to tell them they didn't even come out from behind the counter or even get off their feet or put down there cell phone

The person who assisted me at this location never told me there was an additional charge for after hours drop off, even though I asked her. She also didn't include it in my estimate although I was pretty clear that I would be returning the van after this location closed. I don't appreciate the sneakiness of this business. UHaul is also engaging in pretty deceptive marketing when it claims that vans are “$19.95 a day in town.” Rarely, if EVER, will a UHaul rental be $19.95. At the very least, customers will have to pay for gas to refill what they used. I took my van 54 miles while I had it, admittedly, but still my total charge was nearly $130 dollars all in—a drastically different amount than $19.95. You should not be misleading people into thinking they'll pay $20 for a UHaul vehicle. Including “for most in town moves” is insufficient. It is in small print on your vehicles and does not function to explain just how many additional charges customers could face. I'm not even debating the expense of your charges (even though I think $20 extra for after hours drop off is basically theft because it costs you NOTHING extra for me to drop a van off later at night), I'm saying that your marketing and advertising is deceptive and unfair. Frankly I'm surprised no one had complained to the Massachusetts attorney general about this practice. I will do my best to avoid using your services again.

My container arrived late and I was refunded for only 8 of the days and had to email to tell UHaul that it was actually 10 days late in order to get an accurate refund. I was also charged an additional $79 holding fee which was not applicable. All of these were refunded and Joanne was very helpful but it was frustrating to have to call and email in order to get this and I would not have known if someone who happened to be at the facility had not told me that the container actually wasn't there on the day UHaul said it was.

Not a mask in sight for any of the employees! Very upset 6 months into the pandemic and the employees were not wearing masks that we know stop the spread of Covid-19. Also the employee who installed the trailer on my truck did a sub par job and when i loaded the trailer when I got home it came off my truck! The locking mechanism to hold the trailer on the truck was tightened before the ball was seated. Luckily i did not take the highway home and had a 2 mile drive in back roads. Had I gone the highway it could have come off while driving and cause unknown damage. I have used uhaul many times in the past few years, and I have to take a hard look and see if I will be back as a customer. I am very disappointed in my experience.

1. Hire friendly staff, who doesn't lie to customers face, apologetic when there is a mistake 2. Explains the rental agreement a bit better ( on electronic delivery and expectations before the truck is returned) 3. Eat lunch in a break room not on the counter and not while servicing a customer 4. Wear mask when not behind the barrier

This site is typical of UHaul locations, which is why I gave it an "average" rating. However, your team sucks...no masks, no pleasant attitude, no effort. The rental process was a big inconvenience for them. No management on site for the pickup or return to speak with about the attitude. I wouldn't even begin to tell you how to improve because I don't have the hours to write the plan that you need.

The auto transport trailer was quite old. The drop fender had one of the pivot bolts replaced with a sheet metal screw and a piece of strapping. I had to put a bolt in it when I noticed it when I got home. Also, the extension harness had a slice in it which blew fuses for stop lights and turn signals. Additionally, one of the slide out ramps was bent and required a lot of finesse to pull out and put back in.

I reserved a U-box and attempted to ship it from this location in Woburn, MA to Sherman Oaks, CA. Somehow, someone at this location cancelled my reservation after I dropped off the fully packed U-box. Rather than calling me to inform me that there was an issue, they decided to simply store my U-box at this location. I did not find out the U-box was not on its way until 2 weeks after I dropped it off when I called to check-in and confirm the U-box was in transit. I am now across the country and have no clue when the U-box, fully packed with my things, will arrive. I chose U-box rather than competing services due to the lower price - honestly, I would have rather paid an extra $1000 to have my things be here with me already. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

I used the online or mobile check in process to expedite my pickup but I did not find it as easy as I thought it was going to be & still had to go inside for help so I think next time I won't bother doing it that way. I had a little trouble finding my truck & ended up needing help anyway.

Excellent experience. Everything went as I expected. The drop off went especially well. Very helpful considering it was just before closing! I was able to leave the truck and get on with my long drive home after delivering furniture to my daughters apartment. After a long hot day it was great to have this kind of help and experience. The pickup window is so broad it makes it difficult to coordinate with movers. UHAUL was also entirely NOT helpful in coordinating my moving help and box time - I spent hours trying to make everything line up using their slow systems with very little information, and calling UHAUL didn't clarify anything. Several delivery windows did not line up and I was not able to connect with my moving help in time.

Just a great experience! Personnel were courteous and efficient, took less than 15 minutes from walking in the door until I was on my way with the trailer. After hours drop off was easy and convenient, I didn't have to rush to get back by a certain time. Trailer was clean and had plenty of tie down rings for my load straps.

I was told a pick was going to happen for the empty boxes. apparently the driver called out sick the day off so my pick up was moved to the next day, but no one bothered to call and tell me. I didn't;t find out until I called that day. IT ended up messing with with our trash collection. Communication for pick up was awful.

This was the FOURTH location I tried dropping the trailer! The first was the original location, which did not even let me on the lot. The second was full as well. After waiting on hold for 20 minutes, I was directed to a 3rd location, which was also full!!! After 3+ hours I finally was able to drop the trailer at Woburn . UHaul has all the data needed to notify customers in a timely manner when drop locations are full. Clearly there is a great deal of room for improvement. Lastly, the personnel in the drop locations were, at best, barely helpful; at worst, they were ambivalent and did not show any concern or interest in helping.

I would like to point out that your staff is very polite and helpful. I remember Idi and Kaylee, I do not remember the name of the 3rd person, very nice. One thing I would like to point out which I did not like was that some of the staff was not wearing masks. That is kind of worrisome. I also saw several customers that did not wear masks. These are unusual times and we should not take the Mass COVID numbers for granted and ease up. I wear a mask for the greater good and so I do not pass on CV to others if I accidentally have it. I urge you to take notice of this and train your staff.
