The same thing happened to my pick-up location as well as the drop off - I was told I would have to go someplace else at the last moment. I was sprung with an updated drop-off location AS I WAS DRIVING THE UHAUL!! Very, very disrespectful.

The only thing I wish I knew ahead of time was the one way fee. If it was explained to me when I made the reservation, that I would have to pay more for one way. I would've rented it in Maine before I drove down to Massachusetts.

The process of renting a UBox along with a truck made this process a nightmare: since the UBox group is completely separate from the truck rental, the lack of coordination caused delays, miscommunication, and confusion. The information provided was often incorrect or incomplete; I was told multiple times that everything was set for what I needed, only to be met with confusion when I arrived. In order to finally complete my move, I was required to call both the UBox and truck rental employees several times in order to remind them of when I would arrive and what I needed. In addition, the lack of information available online meant that I needed to hound employees, who did not know how to answer my questions. Since I've been a UHaul customer in the past, it's disappointing that I will not use UHaul for either truck rental or storage in the future.

I had a really hard time working with this location. I was given a truck (without being shown it first), with a specified gas amount & mileage. Upon entering the truck, the gas numbers were completely off, potentially causing me a lot of future fees. The reconciliation for this was a 20 minute hold on the phone and a promise for a 'post-it note' for the person that would be working the next morning. I had rented a dolly, which I had to hunt down an employee to get one into my truck. The truck didn't come with furniture ties, but I was not provided any options for this. The truck's tire pressure was also low upon leaving their facility-presenting a potential risk to my safety. The employee's working there had unprofessional attitudes, and made interactions with them extremely unpleasant. I returned the car per the instructions I was given yesterday after we were finished moving at 5pm, Sept 3rd. I received a phone call this afternoon asking when I'll be returning the truck. They hadn't even checked the key drop box before calling me. If this facility had not provided an extremely unpleasant experience working with them, I may have considered them for a future move. The only upside was the cleanliness of the rental truck that fit everything I needed in one trip.

We needed a truck in a hurry on a very busy Labor Day weekend. Website was easy to use, pickup and drop off easy as well. We were very happy with our U Haul experience.

I needed a cargo van for what I thought would be one afternoon. I picked up the van at the Olympia Ave facility in Woburn, Ma. The representative seemed helpful and informed me of the terms of the lease. I told him that I should be able to return the van the same day, possibly after hours. He said that was no problem. Unfortunately, the move took much longer than expected. I tried to call the facility directly several times. The first two times, the automated system asked me to hold since all customer service representatives were busy. My total hold time for the first two calls was twenty minutes. The call failed on the third attempt due to poor mobile phone service in my area. The next morning, I tried calling again but again no one answered. I sent an email explaining my situation. Shortly after sending the email, I received a call from the representative from the previous day. He was very upset with the fact that I had not returned the van the previous day. I apologized and explained my situation, to which he asked me to return the van immediately. He explained that my lease was only for the previous afternoon and that the van had been reserved by someone else for the next day. I apologized again and explained that I could not immediately leave work to return the van. He persisted and explained that he would have to disappoint some else who needed the van that day and asked how i would feel if he had done that to me. I apologized again and explained that it wasn't made clear to me that the van I leased was reserved for the next day. I explained that I would not have leased the van if I had been made aware of that fact. He said he doubted that I wouldn't have leased the van anyway. I sincerely apologized again but all he would say was that someone else would be angry with him. I asked if there was a lager vehicle available for the party who reserved my van for that day and offered to pay the difference for them. He said that all his vehicles for that day were reserved. He then asked when I might be able to return the van. I explained that i would return it that day. He asked if I might keep him updated during the day. I asked for the best number to reach him, which he supplied but said he'd probably be too busy to answer. I understood that this week was college move in week and that most vehicle rental facilities were quite busy. I was able to have a coworker go out of their way to cover for me. With help it took me almost 4 hours to empty the van and return it to the Woburn facility around 2pm. When I dropped the van off, a representative met me and I asked for the representative who prepared the lease in order to apologize once more. Looking over the paperwork, the representative said he could't determine the identity of the man. I apologized to the representative who accepted the van and he told me not to worry and that it wasn't a big deal. He went on to day that it was just a busy couple of days. I lost a total of 5 hours work that da

We were really pleased. We had booked a 6x12 at the Linville Somerville MA location and had to switch to a 5x8 at the Woburn location. Everyone was really helpful and the Woburn location is GREAT, much easier to find and navigate than the other place. So hats off to Woburn, we won't book at Linville again (nothing wrong with the service there, just the logistics of the place can be confusing).
