Well I think I left a piece of hardware to a desk that I moved in the back of the van. And was hoping that it would turn up in lost and found or somebody would contact me. This was my first time renting a uhaul. I checked the outside of the truck as instructed by the directions of pick up. I did not think to check the inside of the back. When I opened it, I realized the back was covered in cement powder and filthy. I was very unhappy as it was after closing hours and I had no choice but to use the truck. My things were covered in powder after and my house covered in powder footprints. The reason I'm still rating this place above average is because the manager was so kind about it and trusted that it was not me who left the truck dirty but held his workers responsible for not cleaning it before I took it. He was very kind and apologetic and very helpful. If it wasn't for him, I would not have rated them this high.NICOLE G.

Safety of the customer is compromised. The Uhaul employee she did not attach the trailer to my car. It was god sent that the manager walked by and noticed the issue otherwise I would have driven away and the trailer would have detached from my car may have caused a major accident to me i am very concerned about the safety being followed here because the customer is trusting that the trailer has been secured which infact was not. I hope action will be take so this does not happen againPADDU M.
Very difficult installation of my trailer hitch as I had an old rusted one that was incredibly difficult to remove. Amilcar worked really hard on it, got help from a couple of other great guys in the shop and managed to make it happen! Kept me informed all the way and did great work. I was very disappointed in the service that I had received from your staff members at the arrival location. I was told one thing and some thing else happened. the driver was lying about the her coming to deliver the U box. I have a ring and there is no way that she made it as she was saying . the box was suppose to be picked up on Monday, did not get picked up for almost 10 days after the day it was suppose to be picked up. Even though I had called many many times to get this issue resolved, in a timely manner, unfortunately it was not . It created issuer for me with my HOA. I received notice after notice to remove the box of the property, then I was fined for not doing so.Nora E.

My unit was somehow robbed and emptied with the lock still attached to it. When I asked the staff they were extremely shady and unwilling to help claiming I would have to wait to speak with a general manager about possibly viewing the camera footage. Worst experience ever lost $6000 worth of sneakers and autographed memorabilia and the staff was like “oh well” unbelievable. U haul Woburn could not honor original reservation 87110505 made with their staff on phone for largee truck. The clerk indicated they don't carry that size that someone at their location had confirmed during reservations. They only had 10ft truck available. Had no choice but take the smaller truck and had to make two trips and pay extra to loaders and unloaders and extra expense on both gas and mileage. This site has the most inexperienced and least customer friendly staff than ever experienced anywhere else.MANOJ A.

The initial phone contact from UHaul told me that I could pick up a box on a trailer from a location that does not carry UBoxes, then did not follow through with a reservation or contact me back. I arrived at the location as planned, and was told that I had no reservation. I was then contacted by the Woburn team, who redirected me to a different location, solving that issue quickly. Hailey was excellent in this moment. I ended up renting 4 UBoxes total, one more than initially planned, but ended up paying a total of $2700 after being initially quoted $1200 for 3 UBoxes, including rental and shipping - over DOUBLE my initial quote. The payment process was fairly opaque, being charged in multiple pieces. I had guaranteed delivery by 10/13, 13 days after the final Ubox pickup on 10/1, but this was delayed to 10/16, which delayed my move by 3 days and made my family have to use PTO to move. I was told by Brittany at the Boston office that due to late arrival that I would be entitled to $50 per UBox for each day they were late (after 10/13). Then, I learned later from the Maryland team that it was $50 per day total, not per UBox - a difference of $300. I also could not have the UBoxes delivered to my address, as DC does not allow more than 2 on the street at a time - which UHaul did not disclose to me when making the reservation. I ended up hiring movers to pick up the UBoxes from where they had been shipped to (an HOUR from my new home), deliver them, and unpack them - which cost an additional $950. Overall, I chose UHaul UBoxes because I believed the $1200 quote I was given would be cheaper than the $3000-5000 quoted by a moving company. After all was totaled, my moving costs were over $3000 - within the range of a moving company - only, I my family and I spend days packing all the UBoxes ourselves, only for them to delay our move. In the future, I'll just hire movers.mariah L.

You insisted I buy your specific lock for the storage locker. Only when I returned with the truck at 6:00pm and unloaded everything into the locker did I try to install the lock and discovered that the door latch is slightly misaligned. The lock wouldn’t fit. The people who drive the tractor trailers are incredible! The driver who picked up my U-Box zipped up a curving driveway that friends of ours complained about driving in car - and he did it backwards! The man who dropped off my box had it perfectly in place in six minutes. Bravo!Paul S.

The cargo van I rented was not ready at the start of my reservation. I expected it to be parked out front, but it wasn't. It was actually between two other vans far back in the lot. Also one of the tires was low on air, had to immediately drive back to get air.WILLIAM C.

I tried picking up the uhaul later than the designated pickup time and mobile app didn't let me do it. It didn't even notify me that I couldn't pickup after the pickup time. That was an issue for me because i was trying to pickup at 8am on a sunday and couldn't do it until the store opened at 8.30an ( it was supposed to open up at 9am but good thing the rep showed up early)Georgios C.
Movers did a great job but the pick up of the UBoxes was terrible. In Massachusetts it Took two hours to get them in the morning so my move was delayed.
