The staff was super friendly, so not sure if the location was the issue, or Uhaul in general. I got conflicting information from different people when I went to pick up the truck. One person told me I could drop off at one location while another person said otherwise. I booked a one-way trip but was told that wasn't possible, and then it was, and then it wasn't, and then ultimately it was. The truck reserved was not at this location, I had to drive 45 minutes to another location (Brooklyn) to get the size truck I needed. I was very unhappy and this was very inconvenient.Theresa F.
I needed a 17 ft truck to do a one way, instead what could only get was a 10 ft truck, even when they had 17 ft and 20 ft trucks which I ask for on the compound, I was told that was for New York use only,they will not allow me to rent one, this cost me 2 trips from new York to Connecticut, double the cost of having to pay 2 loader and extra mileage plus triple the cost of gas I would of use to make the initial one way trip. The 2 ladies at the reception desk at 9am when I picked up the rental, made it very clear how much they hated their jobs - one complained that she had to be up at 5am for her shift that day - the other added "we should open by 9am - why open so early - who are these people who come here so early?" They were miserable and not very professional/friendly - borderline manic depressive. The van I rented had dirty front windows - I had to stop at the gas station to clean it inside and outside. The van smelled like cigarettes and the seats were dirty with bread crumbs/ cake crumbs. Obviously it is a Moving Van, but it should be cleaned thoroughly specially now with Covid-19 pandemic. Overall, a less than professional branch experience - but the rental served its needs. The gentleman at the return was very pleasant and communicated properly.MARCELO L.

El servicio fue solicitado desde la reserva telefÃ³nica para almacenar la motocicleta. Nunca se me dijo que en este edificio de U-Hul no era posible almacenar motocicletas. Only thing I can complain about was that there was a big cardboard promotional sign in the windshield that I took down and just folded up and put it in the foot area of the passenger seat, I was confused why that was still there when I got into the truck. in the middle of the change, the truck discharged the battery I contracted the insurance, and when I call, there are no attendants who were ready to assist, I had to wait for the return I asked people on the street to help me do the jumping cable, and was helped by a person on the street who had a battery and helped meGUILHERME V.

Uhaul changed the return location from what I had reserved. The matter was easily resolved with a phone call to the 800 number at the NY office.Stanley E.
They didn't have what I needed so I took what they had . The truck I rented the mirror moved so it was useless the door didn't lock correctly and the truck shaked way to much passed 40 mph. The lady at the desk natasha had no idea what she was doing and she kept saying "i dont know. i think you can do this" and she made me waste 2 hours at uhaul when she couldve asked a manager for help. The alarm goes off every few minutes. It is ear-piercing and extremely annoying. Light goes off too often in the storage facilities. Besides that, everything else is fine.Juan G. | Overall Experience
For off-hours loading and unloading, it's unfortunate that everyone can only use the single, small side door. At Sunday at 5pm, we had 4-5 trucks unloading and it was very crowded and congested. I did appreciate that I was able to check-in on-line, and that a lock was waiting for me inside the unit. That was unexpected and made my evening a lot easier.RYAN W.

My comment is that. If you have an online service to do the check in and everything. Please follow that. It is unnecessary to get to the place and still make a line of one hour waiting. Mrs. Mathews at the place said "he still need to do the line".... I lost one hour of service. And at the afternoon I got the rush hour traffic in the city because of this.Jofiel V.

Despite reserving a vehicle days before. The wait time to pick up the vehicle exceeded 45 mins. This costed me for my movers were waiting at the storage for close to 2 hours. This wait time was unacceptable. The service was very poor. There was a long line of customers . They were waiting while only 2 attendants were working. I will not use u-haul in the future.JUNE M.

The store manager Naasiha Matthews was incredible from the moment I walked in. I am currently disabled and unable to carry anything due to my crutches and she was kind enough to help me pick out my moving boxes not to mention put them in the car. That right there blew me away. The lack of deck-level loading docks is a glaring deficiency. This made our move-in take a good deal longer than necessary. I asked about the availability of a loading dock before renting, and was told that there was one.
