Get customer service training for the young lady that was working on Sunday (redhead). THEE WORST EVER! I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $230 BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T KNOW PROCEDURES WHEN IT COMES TO STORAGE RENTAL. I HAD TO SEARCH THE METRO AREA FOR A UNIT TO STORE MY THINGS BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS THEE ABSOLUTE WORST. the vehicle we were given was given to us with no functioning cargo lights and we drove it across the country with NO HORN and no cruise control which it was advertised to have. This is EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO HAVE A 26FT TRUCK WITH A TRAILER AND NO HORN!!!! Absolutely unacceptable. Additionally cruise control is advertised and promised on these trucks and the buttons were present but completely not functional. Basically some connector in the steering wheel was fully disconnected and there werent even bulbs in the cargo area lamps. I cannot believe Uhaul would endanger customers in this way and cannot authorize stores to provide more than $200 compensation. That's just offensive on a $3300 rental. ADDITIONALLY the trailer jack was almost completely non-functional. The only person capable of operating it was my largest friend and it took almost 15 minutes to crank each way and made a loud clunking sound on every turn on the jack. This was a major hassle.MEGAN C.
Everyone was very helpful. After trying our own adapters for the electrical receptacle the U-Hual guys tried a new one from there store- all with no luck. The knowledgable U-Haul guys determined it must be a blown fuse in our hitch equipment. Sure enough, it was. I went home, popped the hood and started checking fuses, located the bad fuse, replaced it and headed back to U-Haul where the nice guys hooked up the trailer, checked to make sure lights worked and we were off! If they hadn't pinpointed where the problem was I'm not sure what we would have done. Thanks guys!KRISTINE L.

Very long wait. People renting storage, one person working desk. Waited about 30 minutes to rent, then he sent me to the opposite corner of the lot where I waited 10 minutes before I was told where it was. I made an Online reservation on this location. When I arrived staff said there is no truck available even I arranged for 0800 pick up. I was told they tried to call me. I did not get a message. I was told they did not email me. I had that day to move. I was given a location very far from where I live. I asked for a favor & they made it happen later than the time I originally asked. Nonetheless I was able to get a truck. Great service even they're very busy.Felnar Mario C.

The first trailer given to me when I left the parking lot had obvious suspension issues. I returned and they switched to another that was just returned. Both trailers were dated and showed their ware and tare inside and outside. Never could say truely clean. In general you are telling people to get a hitch bar with a standard 2â€ drop. That is what you sell in the stores. For your trailers and most vehicles that isn't enough drop even when loaded. Staff itself was great.KARL G.

It was WAY understaffed. I couldn't find anyone to help me unhitch my trailer (and I'm a 72yo woman with a bad back). After about 30 minutes, I noticed a single worker on the lot and he took care of it for me. I had gone into the office, but there were about 10 people in line already. I also called them from the lot, but the central UHaul office picked up and couldn't help me. Overall the rental went well--this was the only problem.Ellen K.

The trailer was an older one with faded colors and rust on wheels. The whole moving trip I was concerned if any of the wheels will fall off. When I got the trailer, only the manager was in the store and he was in an obvious rush. Sent me a contract via email and hooked up the trailer with no additional explanations. He did not tell me to check in the trailer return via phone (if I do it after hours), otherwise I will be charged $20. It's in the contract so legally they can do it, but it's used as a trap to make more money. Dishonest management. I will avoid this location by any means possible. If Uhaul wants to improve the customer experience, then please add a text and/or an email with a link for check in.Vasile J.
Our truck was pretty old and beat up. The dolly inside the door was often in the way when moving things. If u broke the tag and moved it, you were charged for it. Key did not fit lock to secure the back. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. Appreciated the rental!Kory P.

The truck we rented was fairly clean, though it smelled strongly of cigarettes. There was a message on the console indicating the tire pressure monitoring system needed to be serviced. When I brought this to the attention of the staff member, he said many trucks they have display this same message and I should ignore it.Keith F.

I was originally scheduled to go to Jackson Ann Arbor and there was no one at the location and the truck was not ready. I had to wait till the next morning to pickup the truck - it cost me extra to move my day, move-out on the next day, and obviously Ubers to go the new location that was further away.
