My truck was not in the location stated on the app. I went and asked a staff member for assistance, and they eventually did find the truck however when they couldn't find it at first, they told me to find a manager. I went and found the manager, stated my truck was missing, and his response was â€œOK.â€ He then just stared at me like I had said something in a foreign language. So I said to him â€œI was told to come find a manager.â€ And he said â€œOkâ€ again. He made me look like an idiot and very unwelcome. I was doing what I was told to do and he clearly couldn't have cared less. Eventually we found the truck but the keys weren't in it so that was another ordeal. It was just a very disorganized location and the manager was quite rude.Brynn A.
The lady told us to go put more gas in the uhaul and left the back open with the dolly and furniture roller in it and didn't shut the back door to it so we're driving down the street and that shit could of rolled out and hit a car could of been real bad and all she could say was I thought they took the stuff out smh she needs to be fired sorryMONICA H.

There should be a way to verify the condition of the vehicle at the beginning of a rental in a manner other than a texted link. I could not get the link to open on my phone. I don't have a data plan and I couldn't get the U-Haul Wi-Fi to connect.Elizabeth G.
Dear Uhaul, MAINTAIN YOUR TRUCKS! My 26' truck did not have a seatbelt latch for the passenger or middle seats, which we did not realize until after the truck was loaded and my wife was trying to figure out how to buckle up. We drove through some very light rain, and the truck leaked water into the storage area freely in two places. And the alignment is terrible - steering wheel off center by a very large degree, which made driving a pain. Driver side door seal is also worn out - loud wind noise the entire drive, plus the wind coming in, no matter how hard I closed the door. When I picked up the truck I asked for "a good one," and I think the guy gave me the absolute worst. I will never rent from uhaul (any uhaul!) ever again.Joshua B.

The customer service was HORRIBLE. I was bounced around to 3 different locations before my actual pick up! The rep put in the wrong drop off address. Somewhere that I'd never heard of and told me there was nothing that he could do about it. I had to stay and demand that he make the appropriate change because I wanted no more problems on the drop off. He ended up doing it. He was just lazy and unfriendly. I don't see why he's still working there. I'm also waiting on a refund of $852!!!ALISA G.

Get customer service training for the young lady that was working on Sunday (redhead). THEE WORST EVER! I PAID AN ADDITIONAL $230 BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DOESN'T KNOW PROCEDURES WHEN IT COMES TO STORAGE RENTAL. I HAD TO SEARCH THE METRO AREA FOR A UNIT TO STORE MY THINGS BECAUSE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION IS THEE ABSOLUTE WORST. the vehicle we were given was given to us with no functioning cargo lights and we drove it across the country with NO HORN and no cruise control which it was advertised to have. This is EXTREMELY UNSAFE TO HAVE A 26FT TRUCK WITH A TRAILER AND NO HORN!!!! Absolutely unacceptable. Additionally cruise control is advertised and promised on these trucks and the buttons were present but completely not functional. Basically some connector in the steering wheel was fully disconnected and there werent even bulbs in the cargo area lamps. I cannot believe Uhaul would endanger customers in this way and cannot authorize stores to provide more than $200 compensation. That's just offensive on a $3300 rental. ADDITIONALLY the trailer jack was almost completely non-functional. The only person capable of operating it was my largest friend and it took almost 15 minutes to crank each way and made a loud clunking sound on every turn on the jack. This was a major hassle.MEGAN C.
Everyone was very helpful. After trying our own adapters for the electrical receptacle the U-Hual guys tried a new one from there store- all with no luck. The knowledgable U-Haul guys determined it must be a blown fuse in our hitch equipment. Sure enough, it was. I went home, popped the hood and started checking fuses, located the bad fuse, replaced it and headed back to U-Haul where the nice guys hooked up the trailer, checked to make sure lights worked and we were off! If they hadn't pinpointed where the problem was I'm not sure what we would have done. Thanks guys!KRISTINE L.
