Rating:

Clean the vehicles and have someone point out where everything is like head lights, and other features are located. Don't assume everyone knows where everything is in a vehicle you've never driven before. Safety should be important.Can't believe that in this day and age you have to set the rear view mirrors by getting in and out of the truck. Very critical. Setting your rear view mirrors.

Remove the"just in case you need it" equipment from the trucks. It took up valuable space that I needed for my move so I had to load stuff in the cab. Not a good idea.

This was the worst experience with uhaul ever. I rented the truck over night when I went to start the truck it wouldn’t start. The site where I purchased the truck was closed and the uhaul roadside assistance had to walk me thru putting the truck in neutral just to start it. I lost more than an hour of time in my reservation because of this. The people at the site were informed by roadside and customer service. When I showed up the employees were rude and simply didn’t care about my inconvenience or experience. No apologies they treated me like I was lying and they’ve never heard of the trucks doing that before. The woman was reluctant to give me ANY discount at all even with all the inconvenience I experienced. I’ll be sure to tell everyone I know about my experience and how awfully uhaul handles it.

The experience that I had was good the customer service I received was in the spirit of excellence at this time I can think of nothing that can be done to improve or expand on what you’re doing. The only thing I would ever consider would probably be rates for in city or out of town.

The young lady who checked in my rented trailer was very helpful, professional and courteous. I have used the Newport News Warwick Blvd. location before as a drop-off point and will do so again on my next U-Haul rental. The location is very convenient and they provide excellent customer service..

Your website to return the truck, I rented a truck Friday the 1st of November, 2019 in the afternoon and the lady told me that I have to returned it no later than 7am the next day and she told me that if I have to return it earlier than 7am and the office was close that we can return it anyways and just returned it in the system but for that I had to be in the lot and she told us the step to follow to be able to do so, well we were at the lot little after 1am and we try so hard to do exactly what she told us and we were not able to do anything on the website plus they were another person there trying to do the same thing and didn’t work for that person either, I call the 24 hour line and the lady say that they are having problems with the website and that she was going to put a note on the account about us returning the truck early so we don’t get charge the inconvenience fees for not logging and returning the truck online, we believed her and agree to it and let the key where she say and everything, well they end up charging me the $20.44 anyways for the inconvenience fees, I call them later that day when I notice they charge me and I speaker with a male that say he was going to verified the account but had to call me back with in 1 hour I didn’t understand why he had to call me one hour later when he could just open the account there and see that we call at 1am and the lady put a note about the system being down but we try to do everything online as they requested and she say that we will not be charge and everything was fine, well many many hours pass, all day and night and they never call me back, (nice costumer service) I am not a happy costumer and I will not recommend anyone this company at all

Excellent service -- quick, friendly and professional. I returned a 26 foot truck, a car carrier, a utility cart and a dozen blankets and was checked in and out there in under 10 minutes.

Everything worked as expected. Vehicle was available as reserved. It was clean. Check out was efficient and very fast.. Additional extra mileage was given without hesitation. This is essential customer service since, while you may have my street address for a one way, you do not know my pick up point nor any stops that may need to be taken along the way. I appreciate this part of the service.
