Routing needs to have equipment available in Gloucester County. Driving 25 miles each way to rent a cargo van for Mothers Day floral deliveries is rediculous. Time consuming and costly. Cory in Corporate sales is aware of this issue. I expect resolution before Valentine's Day rental in 2027. Smith's Florist and Gift Shoppe has been renting 2 vans for 2 days for both these holidays for many years and deserves better customer experience. Michael Richardson

Called 800 number complaints taken to the top I Should not have to let air out of my tire to get my car off 2 wheel tow dolly. Broken tie Down. The only thing that’s there on a 2 wheel tow dolly

THOMAS KAll Uhaul stores should be like this one. I was skeptical about renting another Uhaul truck ever! The last few times have been awful. I must say that this store on Warwick Blvd in Newport News was outstanding! If ever I need to rent again I will go to this store only!!!

I don’t have any van until Sunday and than we went to other u- haul store. They told us. There is 2 available 26 ‘ van Warwick bld location and then they reserved for us. We went back to Warwick location. I showed him our reservation paper. He said yes we have available van. Why he lied to us in the morning when we went without reservation. That was so annoying.

ANTHONY BGood morning, I would first like to share that your staff was very professional and kind throughout my experience. However, I did encounter one issue. The U-Haul truck I rented broke down at a location, leaving me feeling stranded and unsure of what to do. When I called the local number, I reached the automated answering service, which then connected me to a roadside service representative. The service member contacted me promptly, provided an exact arrival time, and arrived right on schedule. He repaired the truck efficiently, and we were able to continue our trip. Although the breakdown caused about a one-hour delay in our plans, everything ultimately worked out well. Please extend my thanks to your staff for handling the situation professionally and helping turn an inconvenience into a positive experience.

WILLIAM MWe recently rented a Budget truck for our move. It didn't go well. We had all sorts of problems. When we needed a cargo van to finish up some things that we didn't get done in time, we decided to look to U-Haul. Best choice. Wish we'd rented the truck from here. This location in particular has great, friendly, helpful folks. We were in and out with the van in like five minutes, and returning it was about as fast. Reasonable price, van was in great shape and pretty new with 7000 miles on it. I'm definitely going U-Haul next time I need a truck.

Lorraine VThe truck and tow dolly operated flawlessly. Pulled straight as an arrow. Added bonus, apple car play so I was able to hear Spotify and my Waze map. Very comfortable seat for a 5 1/2 hour round trip.

JAMES HThe female cashier that I first encountered was very rude and unprofessional, and actually wanted to refuse to allow me to park my vehicle on the property even after another employee offered her parking space to me because she was getting off of her shift. The rude clerk refused to let me park there because "she was moving her own vehicle into the space once her co-worker left". She gave me one option, to reschedule my pick-up. Luckily the manager on duty happened to step in the store and to the counter where he instead assisted me, so I could check out the truck I reserved and be on my way.
MICHELLE SIt’s supposed to be a drive up facility and I was told by the woman at the office that “no, we cannot move our trucks. You see how packed it is. Driving up means you can park in our parking lot.” I couldn’t even access the unit itself because a truck was blocking it. This was probably 90% of the time. Luckily, one of the guys that worked there said they would move it. Do not let them give you an end unit. Ask for one in the middle where the chances of it being blocked are slimmer

Joseph S | Overall ExperienceOur storage unit was broken into and items stolen. I declined insurance coverage because I have renters insurance, which is fine. When the police came to file a report the store employee said they did not have video surveillance of that area and it was on us because I declined insurance. I don't understand how this lack of video surveillance could be a known issue and not addressed.
