From checking in to checking out, everything about my experience at U-Haul in Albany, GA was top notch. I never had to wait, the truck was very clean and in great condition. The staff was always friendly and helpful. I will definitely used U-Haul in Albany, GA again, and will recommend to friends. The computer issues U-Haul had caused some issues but overall, things were ok. U-Haul needs to set up dumpsters at their locations. Charge customers $20 to use them and I am sure they would be money makers

I don't know if the 'crank jack' for connecting and disconnecting task would create more risk of damage to towing vehicles, but it would make it easier for people to perform this task.

This excellent rating is solely based on the facility and staff. However, the storage price rates are too expensive. If I would've had time to shop around, I would've gone somewhere else to rent a storage room.

Please provide equipment that is accurate. There was a problem with my return mileage use. I would like to request an inquiry. I was charged for 31 miles. Please check my rental history. The mileage has never been over 18 miles. This was a church rental event. I have all my final receipts. Please advise. I am disappointed in U-Haul Albany, GA.

This was the worst experience I've ever had in a move. It was the first time I've used the U-Boxes and I would tell anyone who asks, not to go this route. The onset of the process was great. I enjoyed loading and delivering my boxes to the U-Haul center in Albany, GA. Then it went down hill from the time I began the process of having them moved to their final location. The U-Haul store in N. Charleston did not communicate with me very well. They left a voicemail and I tried four times to reach them via phone with no success over an eight-day period. Each time I called, I waited 20-25 mins before speaking to someone at a call center who had no idea why they N. Charleston store called me. Despite making the delivery arraignments with the call center, I thought I would stop at the store to see if everything was good to go on their end. When I got the store, nothing in their notes matched what I'd established with the call center. Once we got that straight, I thought we'd be good. However, when I arrived to pick up my U-boxes, no one at the store knew I was coming nor did they have them ready for transport. I was talked into having them delivered but still experience a lack of communication at the onset. As we began to unload the U-boxes, several items were damaged. At the end of unloading, I was dumbfounded by the damage. In the last 20 years, I've moved 11 times and never experienced a similar amount of damage. I will never use this process again.

I visited this location twice. Both times they were very busy and only had one lady working...While she did her very best to assist each customer, she definitely needed some help. And as a result of the long wait, I was advised that I still had to return the trailer at the time of my reservation, in which it was an hour later when I left with the trailer.

Have two people there during mornings. The rep that helped me was great but she was doing ten things at once it looked overwhelming. I waited patiently as she was going back and forth and politely told her to take her time I have no issue waiting. Her name was Ann I do not remember her last name but she was a great person. She is why I gave 5 star rating.

The check in after hours experience was horrible. The web site did not take my location accurately, when I called I could not get a rep on the phone it was dangerous and locating the key drop was impossible at night. That process needs to be revamped

When someone returns equipment check it in immediately so that you will not charge them for another day they didn't use. Properly distribute staff and responsibilities so mix ups are reduced. Respond to and work with customers more efficiently.

First issue I was doing a mobile check-in to pick up my truck at 7am. The instructions say go to the Right side of the building to a black box and put in a code for the key. BUT, THERE IS NO BLACK BOX ON THE BUILDING! Second, I look around for a local number, an on call person, etc to no avail. I call uhaul and the automated system says wait time is 2 minutes well I waited 17 minutes the first call and 40 minutes the second call. Only to be told I would have to wait until 9 to get the truck. I already had the movers at my mom house at 7am to move her furniture so they are already on the clock but I have a 2 hour wait in an area riddled with prostitution and drug dealing. I did not feel safe at all. The young lady get there and she gives me the keys l leave. 3rd the air does not work in the truck, in the middle of summer in southwest GA. In albany Ga. I was soak and wet from sweat all day long riding in that heat box and the brakes have too much air in the lines. This has been a horrible experience. I will never rent from uhaul again. I was not given an apology compensated for my rental or anything. The young lady simply stated I don't know why they keep allowing people to do the mobile check-in someone took our black box. I will definitely be utilizing penske from now on they keep their trucks up. From the customer service to the equipment uhaul SUCK! There definitely should be an emergency on call number for situations like this. You wasted my time and my money.

I attempted to call the customer service line on several occasions. I was on hold for 15 min on one call. 30 min on another call and 10 mins on my last call. It would have be nice to be able to speak to a person rather than assume things. I wanted to get truck a day earlier at 10:00 AM and I would have needed to speak with someone on Thursday rather than Friday morning

when i reserved with uhaul, i requested a pick up time of 7:30 am. Reserving this time would require me to use my mobile device to pick up vechicle. I arrived at this location and was unable to pick up vehicle and was advised i would have to wait until 9:00 am. I never received a phone call or email advising me that the pick up time I selected was not available. This was a huge inconvenience to me, and delayed all of my plans by almost 2 hours.

If you will please, adjust the tail gate on the 6' x 12' open trailer to open down to a lower angle. This will enable me to use my 7' ramp without it slipping on the tail gate and I will be able to position my ramp to the floor of trailer. The other 6' x 12' open trailer with ramp is not suitable for my needs.

Uhaul is quick to take the $60 out of a debit account but it needs to refund the remaining balance just as quickly as it takes it out. Its been two days and i still have not received a refund

I rent a trailer from here 1-2 times a month and the staff is always helpful and on top of everything. The equipment is always in good condition and clean for the most part. I will continue to do business with them.

The counter clerks were standing gossiping I was the only customer in the store I was told by on of the two clerks while I was standing there it would be a while before she could enter the truck I brought back into the system and give me a receipt. Very rude and unprofessional.

The poor rating is a result of the storage charge I was offered but DECLINED. As of a couple days ago they were demanding I pay $170 for a unit offered and declined at the time of my trailer rental.

Move was a disaster and not delivered to final home address. Albany made truck reservation and did not have a truck at time for pick up. Had to go to Tifton and return in Adel. Never again!
