The truck rattled and shook tremendously. It was not a smooth ride as advertised.

This is the only actual UHaul store in Albany, that is why I have used them 3 times. My last experience as awful. I don't think it could have gotten any worse. My reserved truck was ready to go and plenty of gas for me to make a hundred mile trip. That was really awesome. That was the only good experience. The down side that really upset me is the dolly I reserved was given to someone else. When I make a reservation, things are paid for, I expect to be able to pick up what I am renting and go about my day. The ONLY dolly that was available was the one for sale that was $49.99 (I think). I was told by the associate that I could buy that one. Why would I want to do that? He sort of apologized and said there was nothing he could do. So basically, someone gets there before me, or wanted to rent one at the last minute, they get it. So regardless if it is reserved or not, it's not guaranteed. I was told that I could call customer service and see what could be done. I reserved a dolly, I should not be the one that calls customer service, the associate should. I called customer service, and once again, there is nothing we can do. I was told they would credit my card $50.00 for the inconvenience and use that if I wished to purchase the dolly in the store. Again, why would I want to do that? The $50.00 was nice, but it didn't fix the problem. My feeling is no one cared. The whole situation was horrible. My move was late starting, so therefore my schedule just got tossed. I have reserved a Cargo Trailer with a dolly for September 14, 2019 and there better be a dolly with the trailer. This is going to be the last of the things someone has been storing for me.. I will then have to move a 20 x 20 storage unit that is in Albany, GA. I plan on using UHaul again for that. But if this experience is as the last one was, I will have to be desperate before I use UHaul again. If I cannot be treated as though I'm important, then I don't want to do business with a place like that. I'm not saying that I'm any more important as the next person, what I am saying is that everyone should be treated as though they are the only customer and the most important one. This is what keeps your doors open. Train your people, check your policies, and most importantly make sure they care. In my opinion, not one person in that store cares. It's a paycheck and that's it. Well, your customers make their paychecks, so we should be treated with the utmost respect.

Your trucks need some serious maintenance. Your online return system sucks. There is no communication between anyone. I pray if I move again I won't be using Uhaul.

The trucks not having cruise control made it a very uncomfortable ride.

There was a hole in the roof which caused my items to get missed up. The truck was leaking fuel and caused dead spots in my old house grass and also new house. Which now has to be replaced. Got pulled over because the running lights weren’t working properly. Which caused us delay in moving because we could only move in day light and not when it was raining.
