When you decide you will process a return and email a receipt it needs to be done in a timely manner, not wait until days have passed and charge a customer 3x's what the rental should be. Then when you make a mistake like described it would be a great idea if you processed the correction in a timely manner. I will never use this location again and probably not use UHaul again. I noticed you require a credit card to rent a truck. It really doesn't make sense. Money is money weather it's Debit or Credit. Some people don't have credit cards, do they not need to rent?Harold P.

The truck had no gas at all in it when I received it. It was dirty and when I began loading my furniture in it I noticed axle grease in the back. I didn't check the back so when I arrived at the location to pick my furniture up I had no way to remove the grease and it was a big inconvenience. When I returned the truck I mentioned it to the employee he made a point of saying that he was only a temporary manager and he didn't want to hear any of the disputes. I want to make a point that he mentioned that he was not from that station or building and he was only a fill-in however he was very unprofessional and didn't even offer apology for the issue I have just mentionedcarl W.

First- we online ordered a truck from the Franklin Mills location because Bensalem had no time available. Second- we were sent emails that said we would be called by 6pm the night before. Third- we were told it would take no more than 10 minutes with online check in. In regards to the first issue- We received a confirmation for the Philadelphia location but ended up with Bensalem Because, #2, no one called by 6pm the night before. My husband called the phone number and was told by an Aricella, that the location was changed to Bensalem because Phila had no vans left ( interesting because it was the opposite on the website. Luckily we called because we would have not been able to get a van if we went to the Phila office. Once we got there, at 7:50, because we were advised it would take no more than 10 minutes. We ended up leaving there at 8:20 which cut our time in order to bring it back by noon. The was someone helping in Bensalem at 7:50, however, on your website it says no one would be there. You all need to examine how you manage everything. It is all ass backwards. Will use someone else next time.STUART L.

There was no windshield fluid in the truck. Driving through the snow and salt through Western PA was a challenge specifically because of that missing fluid. Added unnecessary time and miles to an already long trip to stop and clear the windshield. Many gas stations didn't have fluid to use or add.JAMES K.

Equipment was not properly registered in the system for me to complete online check. Vehicle was supposed to be picked up a more convenient location. Vehicle was scheduled for 10am pick up at the more convenient location. I successfully did online check in. Did not arrive at 10am due to unforeseen circumstances. However, vehicle WAS still checked in and only waiting for key retrieval. Only to have vehicle cancelled and send me to a inconvenient location. Customer feels that since online check in was completed and credit card information was requested, vehicle should have been available. P.S. vehicle initially scheduled for pick up that was cancelled WAS spotted on the lot and not "given away" as the agent suggested.Robert A.

Your company ripped me off.When I picked van up it had 1/4 tank of gas... when I dropped it off it had a little bit more than when I pick it up.I put 15.00 dollars of gas in vehicle and I have the receipt.U haul charged me 20.00 more on my debit card for fuel.I use U-Haul before, but I will never ever again.I will keep putting bad reviews on Facebook and other media fronts.Word of mouth goes a very long way...trust me.William K.

A lot of the issues were not with Bensalem in particular. I reserved a truck at the Levittown branch went there only to find that the truck was in Bensalem instead. At Bensalem a found a woman who rented in Bensalem but had to go to Northeast Philly to pick up her truck. But the truck had a tire that was light on air, the check engine light was on as was another warning light. And it did not come with a full tank of gas, and when I tried to match the gas level, I wound up being charged despite matching it pretty well. Also I reserved a dolly. There was none of the type that I reserved so I was given a furniture dolly. But despite being told I would only be charged for the ordinary dolly since that is what I reserved, I was charged for the furniture dolly. I suspect it was just a busy day for rentals. I rented a truck a month ago in Norristown and had none of these issues. So I am not ruling out using the service again. But another experience like that would be problematic.Lon B.

This location was fine. My issue with my rental was this was not my original pick up location. I was scheduled to pick up the van from the uhaul location on Red Lion Road, but when I completed my reservation through the 24/7 portal, I noticed the van did not have a license plate. The man at the Red Lion location was very helpful in finding a replacement, but it was still a hassle.CHRISTINE M.

Make the website actually perform how it should. The Bensalem store is the worst experience I have ever encountered. The â€œgeneral managerâ€ was not only unprofessional, but proceeded to tell me the order I completed online did not go through the way i submitted it. He then stated that the website does what it wants and that I should speak with the marketing person? Instead of paying $80 (like your god Awful website quoted me initially) I paid $193. I was also told the dolly I had ordered was not available and that he had not seen one in six months. He also proceeded to take a phone call in front of a line of people and he put the guy on speakerphone and was rude. Overall, it was awful. Dude does not wanna take ANY ownership of mistakes whether it be in the system or by fault of his own. The Crum Lynne location was great! The one in Bensalem should just close if that's the only option of a worker you have.GREGORY F.

Tori the General Manager was excellent, very knowledgeable and helpful. He is the type of employee who cares more about Customer satisfaction then about the almighty the Dollar. I have used the street road location in Bensalem 4 times in the last year moving my father and each time Tori has treated me with nothing but outstanding service. The truck was shaking terrible and it would not kick in to gear for a while which means the transmission is not in good shape. It was not a pleasant ride, it was very nerve racking.I would not recommend anyone to go there to rent a truck.CATHERINE F.

Again the drop off process was simple and fast, when I pulled up the attendant was outside before I could get out of my car. As far as customer service , you have been top notch. Your representative Taj, I believe is his name. I may be mistaken because I am hard of hearing. But as I was saying, your representative was well spoken, and extremely helpful in helping me secure the vehicle I reserved, and get me out in a timely matter to do what I had to do. He explained everything thoroughly as if the young man had 30 years under his belt. Not to mention he quickly approached the register after I spoke will him outside while bothering him in his duties of scrubbing the trucks like I've never seen them cleaned before. I've rented from U Haul multiple times and this is the first time I had to reach out and explain how impressed I was with this young man's work ethic. I have used uHaul and movers service probably 3 times in last 10 months. Experience that I had this time was the worse customer service experience starting from the reservation, my location was changed and wasn't even notified, thanks to my mobile covid check-in process text message at 7:30pm the night before that it was changed to location further than my home in the opposite direction i m moving to so extra miles. It's moving day i go to pick up the truck, mobile process smooth, uploaded pictures and bring the truck home and movers show up. Movers show up and asked me to move the truck close to the front door, realized driver door doesn't shut, movers were nice look at the door and find out passenger side is also an issue but can manage it if really want to do it. Only need to go 10 miles each way but didn't wanted to take risk and i decided rent another truck because calling this location was no help because no one answered. Movers get paid by an hour. Rented another truck for $110 and got started finished my move and went to drop off the uHaul, stopped at gas station filled up the tank 1 block away from uHaul location. I only took it from location to home and home to location i put on 10 miles so I Finish the drop off but had to go inside to let someone know about the door issue and make sure drop off done. I went inside and notified about drop off and told them about the door issue and offered to walk to make sure they know it and i was told in response, hey man you are all good I have to do level 2 on that truck anyway you're all good receipt will be emailed. I got out and left, couple hours later i got the receipt with fuel charge on it for 2 gallons as $9.50. I was so frustrated because location already don't answer uHaul 1800 is and absolutely no help was this time but i called anyway and was told email them if they dont answer. I heard nothing since Wednesday so i called today again through ringers and 1800 uHaul told me they did issue a credit for $9.00. Hope you are alright with it, if you want you can reach out for 50 cents. I was just so shocked. I find the biggest gap is communication with this location and everyone I interacted with this overall transaction were forced to work or overwhelmed and didn't want to be there, I am and was just out of words. I am still in the process of move but I will most definitely talk about this experience on public platform to inform and let others know what to expect.Karan P.
