The cargo van was brand new - only 282 miles on it, very nice. The staff was friendly and efficient, answered questions with clear information, and the pickup and return process was quick and seamless.

Make sure phone agents are well trained with exact information at hand so the client is well informed! The wait time holding for a representative to resolve an issue is too long. I waited 20 minutes, and when a client is upset to begin with, this only adds to the problem!

It takes way to long to rent trailer. I was second in line with two employees at the counter and it took me 35 minutes to finish paperwork and additional 10 to leave parking lot. WAY WAY too long

Maybe have more counter help on a Saturday morning at the end of the month. When I left there were at least 7 -8 people in line. I would like to recognize Thomas Parrish for going above & beyond. I made my reservations for the wrong day/date. However, he was able to help me in getting a truck for Sunday, 6/30. I greatly appreciated his concern for me & it made my day much easier having a truck. Thank you very much Thomas!!!

Trucks need to be non-smoking. Our truck only had 26K miles and already smelled like an ashtray. We had to ride 12 hours with the windows down.

The van was due for oil change and had low air in tires. The staff was not friendly. The online check in took longer than going to the counter and had to wait 15 minutes just to get the key. It was a waste of time not a time saver.

I opted to save gas and drop the truck off near the location I was moving to rather than driving all the way back across town to the pick up location BUT NO ONE disclosed to me when I reserved the truck online NOR When I picked it up that I Would Be charged SUBSTANTIALLY MORE THAN “$19.99 + MILEAGE “ As I Had Been Advised Until the Next Day @ the Drop Off Location and They Were EXTREMELY RUDE!! My truck had no brake fluid and no oil. After having a complete brake failure and two call outs for a service person, it was determined that the main brake line was ruptured. My vehicle had to be towed. The angle of the tow shifted my load and damaged a number of items, mostly furniture. Also the cargo area leaked when it rained, further ruining furniture. I was almost involved in a car accident because of this truck's poor maintenance, an accident that could have killed me or another driver/occupant simply because the truck could not stop. I was given a full refund. I deserve much more for my time, damaged furniture, and personal stress.

The staff was irritable and very annoyed when we arrived. The person I worked with was obviously upset and took it out on the customers. We were in line and jovial and he was very morose and upsetting. It was also annoying that your system kept trying to sell me stuff that I had already declined previously. I had everything ready to go when I got to the store and it took me another 30 minutes just to wait in line. Finally, when i did get my equipment, the yard personnel were helpful and did check everything out with me, but the trailer was full of gravel and other debris. I gave it back completely clean, but do not enjoy cleaning up other people's messes.

Windshield and windows were dirty, there was water in the reservior thankfully, truck had a "weird" smell, had to describe musty maybe or maybe last person had a lot of hay in it. The people in the office were extremely polite.

I needed a closed in trailer. They had two but I was told they were for one way only I had to get an open trailer and sure enough it started to rain I had to take trailer back because we were moving furniture The attendant did not care what had happened I use this facility often for my business We have spent over $600 for moving supplies recently

Not a very friendly and customer oriented location. Front desk treats people without respect, maybe either too young or to ignorant of social rules. Never address a customer by their first name among other things.

U-Haul puts the employees in a bad situation by the way they do business. I made my reservation online and did not realize I only had the van reserved for four hours. The rate was listed as 19.95 for 24 hours. Yet I was told I had to have the van back in four hours or face a $50 charge. While I was checking out a young woman was their to get her truck only to find out it was at a location miles away and she would need to take an Uber to pick it up and again after turning it in. This in spite of the fact she had reserved the truck for the location we were at. These are fails to me. Not for this location, but for U-Haul. I learned my lesson about how U-Haul does business. On another note, I tried to check in with the web site and couldn’t. Too many fails for U-Haul today.

The personnel could improve on their people skills. They were not rude, but they were not courteous either. I entered and all 3 staff members just looked at me, none said a word. I, essentially, chose one at random, addressed him and he took my contract and started walking away. I didn’t know if I needed to follow him or stay put because him didn’t tell me. I followed, we reached the equipment and he started talking to another staff member. He got on his phone and after a bit told me: “You’re good.” The process was relatively efficient, but as I said, some people skills are missing.

We called ahead of time to schedule an U-Haul pick up. We were told that we would have the truck for 6 hours. They scheduled us to have the truck from 11:23 to 4:45 which is only 5 hours. We brought the truck back around 7 which would be 2 hours over the 6 hour mark we we’re promised to begin with. They try to charge for two days and then say it’s in the contract, but we read the contract. It states if we you return the truck late then you will be charged an additional charge not an additional day. There was a guy that says he worked there, but was not in uniform, so he was there on his off day arguing with us as women and clapping his hands and yelling bye honey it’s in the contract. That policy is not written in the contract provided to us and we we’re also no informed. So we no longer use this service moving forward.

You guys could give me a refund for the defective u haul trailer you rented me for 205$ alllllll of my belongings were ruined , clothes ,computers, TVs , literally everything and the only thing y’all could tell me was we need to investigate...... investigate what how could I possibly get all the boxes at the front of the trailer wet ... this is completely ridiculous and I will never go through u haul again and make it my mission that all my friends and family never go back until this situation is reconciled.

Took over an hour to pick up the AUto Transport I reserved a week earlier. Then I received several calls asking for information about the unit they forgot to list when I picked it up. Then recieved calls asking if I was going to pick up the unit I had already picked up two hours earlier. The entire thing was a joke. I'll never use u haul again.

You could improve on these 3 points: 1. Fix the app failures during photo uploads 2. Improve the night-time lighting in your parking lot 3. Teach your staff to respect the customer and keep sarcasm to themselves My check in experience was less than pleasant. At 11:30 at night I tried to check in. The app failed to upload photos and wouldn't let me proceed with check in. I couldn't find a key slot to drop off the key because the parking lot was too dark. I was on the phone with corporate customer service and they agreed that I should leave the van in the parking lot and return the key the following morining. This was documented in the system notes. They were helpful. The following morning, I got a call from the local office asking where is their key. The girl was sarcastic and wanted to charge me a 2nd day for not dropping off the key. I showed up at the office and explained my experience from the night before. She ignored my request to drop the 2nd day charge. I asked for a manager and explained to her - she looked in the system and verified I tried to check in the night before. Although she dropped the 2nd-day charge, the manager wasn't very respectful about it. Your employees need to learn proper manners.

I had 3 trucks to move. None of them had lights on the dash boards, which is very dangerous when you have to drive at night. One had a dolly and moving pads, one had nothing in it and the other dolly wasn’t strapped in... so it appears as if I used it. The availability of when I needed them was great, the people at the store were nice. But afterwards when all my charges started hitting my bank account. I couldn’t get anybody to review charges with me and return phone calls. Overall they are good, just wish they would send final bills to your email so you know exactly what you’re charged for... especially for the mileage.

I had to circle around several blocks to figure out how to get in the back way. There were no signs indicating where the Uhaul location was from the back. And going in the back was the only way I was getting into such a cramped lot. There was no way for me to try and squeeze a 26ft truck and trailer into the front entrance. Also, I hope I put the key in the correct drop box. There was nothing labeling it a drop box. And there was no sign stating to drop keys there. And, thankfully my husband was with me. A car pulled in...creeped along through the parking lot, then just sat in the back with lights on, and car running. if that is security, they need to identify themselves. It was a very uncomfortable experience.

Mileage added up quick. Maybe offer mileage special. At 59 cents a mile don’t take long to inflate rental cost. Maybe 100 and 200 mike deals. 50$ a hundred 85$ for 200 something like that with the 59 cent a mile on overages

Jay Scott was incredibly helpful. My original reservation was at 203 Providence, the Istorage Self Storage. When I arrived, I was told they had no truck for me despite my reservation - and did not give me advanced notice. The clerk was not at all helpful finding me a truck and I was moving that day. I'm told this outlet is a chronic problem. Jay, by contrast, was knowledgeable, professional and extremely efficient. He turned a very bad experience into a good one.

Regarding my rental on 4/7/19 —— EXCELLENT SERVICE!!!!! From Krystal, Tyler and Alexis. They went over and above to help me get the trailer I needed that day. Outstanding customer service! Krystal has provided STELLAR service to me many times. I’ve had some so-so experiences before w/U-Haul (even this branch) and one awful experience in another state ( I didn’t rent from U-Haul for 10+yrs after that one) but I was very pleased w/ this rental.

The manager jay was very rude and disrespectful. He was very condescending for no reason. I called customer service before speaking to him and they were friendly and great but when he called me it ruined my whole day. The day of the rental they weren't much better but I thought it was because they were just busy but I see this is a none customer friendly environment

I was a little annoyed after working all day, went to pick up the van, and was told that my card was not being accepted, NOT being declined, just not being accepted. After almost 30-45 minutes waiting, Thank God, I had my sister in law present, she used her card instead. Got in the truck, and went down the road, and made a charge purchased. It went thru with no hitched. Perhaps the machine need to be calibrated more often. The customer service was good, just not that knowledgeable about the machines

it's not a problem with the staff, but there always seems to be computer problems that results in a long wait trying to process us when we are there picking up our equipment.

The truck was rough on rough roads felt every bump. Went drop off at 455 and they were closed wouldn't let me sign truck in make sure all was ok. Had wait next day. And milage and gas was not same what they said to truck I think I was charged extra 8 miles on mileage charge.And uhaul in general need to rethink the idea customer getting gas that should be included in 79cents a mile.

Continue what you're doing. I had a trailer hitch installed, purchased boxes and arranged for a 1 way trailer rental the following week. All services were provided in a timely manner. I wish I could name every staff member that I encountered, as they were all pleasant , efficient and accommodating. Each one helped to make my move far easier than I expected. I would not hesitate to use this location again. Thank you!
