My experience was top-notch. Joseph and Vanessa were working extremely hard. It was a very busy day (and very hot outside), but they handled everything with professionalism. Things did not go according to plan (due to my own error), but Joseph worked hard to make sure we got what we needed. His level of care, patience, and ability to problem-solve turned a stressful situation into a seamless solution. I am so thankful that he was there that day and was able to help us. I was very impressed with the way he handled everything. Thank you, Joseph and Vanessa! Go Raiders!

The assistant manager, Joseph, was very kind and attentive! He helped me with everything I needed and helped make the moving process much smoother! Overall 10/10 experience I would come back again and recommend to a friend!!

My reservation was set for a 7 am pick up. I was in line at 7 a.m. There was an employee, male, short hair, also waiting to get inside since the office was locked. At 7.10 am a BMW vehicle came in with two females. The two females were employees. The younger one was uniformed. The older one looked very unprofessional, wearing a sleeping hat with no uniform. When I arrived at the counter, the younger female was taking care of me. I had already done the check-in online. I was told that my trailer was not available; however, she was able to find a replacement with the same specifications, which was nice. She added the insurance, which I did not request. This is the second time she has done this to me. Is this a pattern that employees add insurance that is not requested ? Very unprofessional ! A fourth employee showed up at 7.30 am, he was a younger male with longer black hair. He looked rushed. Once I drove to the back, nobody was available to assist with the trailer. I had to do it myself since it was almost 8 a.m. Once I was done with the trailer by 10 a.m., I parked on the back, and nobody seemed available. Although I drove by next to two employees, nobody came by to assist. I had to remove the trailer myself and left. This store is getting worse and worse. The older female employee mentioned several times that they were overbooked. Is this common practice ? My experience was very poor. Hopefully, this feedback helps you get better. The store needs proper management.

The Concord, CA U-Haul team was excellent all around - helpful, informative, kind and efficient. True for both the rental and return team. The truck was easy to drive and worked very well for the four days we had it. Big thumbs-up for the people at this location!

The truck had a strong urine smell , when we started our move , I put in an order for two Dollie’s in advance and once pick up date came I only was able to get one , it would have helped with cutting down the move time , but it’s okay .

Service agent was curt and unfriendly at pick up. Selected the last truck in the line of parked trucks. Trucks hood was not latched and lifted during my drive. Trucks gas tank was 3/8 requiring fill up to perform my move instead of at the end of my move.

Everything was great EXCEPT I was charged an extra $82. $40 for not returning it by 8:30 am—I returned around 3:00 pm, plus I was charged an extra $14 for 2 gallons of gas when we returned it at EXACTLY the same level as received! PLEASE ISSUE ME A REFUND FOR $64.

I own a bunch of uhauls because I’m a Stager so I am really comfortable driving Uhaul’s. The gal that helped me was super friendly. The Uhaul’s air conditioner doesn’t work very good. That’s the only complaint.

I was charged $33 after bringing back the truck ,I don’t know for what.Nobody sent me any explanation for the xtra ripoff.I did bring the gas back to halfway as it was when I took it minus a millimiter or 2 .Also obviously no damage or scratches to the truck .

My go to place for trailers

Met two people if you can call “meeting” two people if you can’t even get a hi from either. The person inside was very curt and uninterested when I was trying to get help. The person outside checking in the trucks was interesting. He walked up and I said hi; he looked at me, said nothing and just jumped in the truck to pull it around the corner. It was pretty rude and probably the reason I won’t use this location again.

Eric is a wonderful helpful guy. But the black lady whom mentioned to me that the system is dowm did not help me to figure out how to rent thru online. I just took the initiative. This happens July 16. 9am in d morning. She needs to be trained a better customer service and know how important a a paying customer is. A successful branch always have a big asset. Thats Eric and that Concord branch has a liability and thats the black lady.

Standing in the lobby for over 30 minutes only to find out I needed to do nothing to return the truck. Staff needs to ask themselves why do I work here. Tire service light on. ¼ tank of gas? What happened to receive it full return it full.

The worker who was trying to hook yo the trailer to my truck wasn’t paying attention and set the tongue of the trailer on top of the ball and said i was good to go. When i caught it and fixed it i told him and he responded with “oh”. I think more training is necessary to avoid a catastrophic accident

Stop ripping off customers by charging for gas when vehicles have been returned with more gas than they left with. I called last week and was told that the additional charges would be reversed but they haven't been yet. Next stop: Small Claims Court.

Each time I visit I'm waiting in line 30 - 45min minutes because you are under staffed and if staffed, someone is training at the desk. In many cases the pick up times matter, we are held to return time so it's only fair we expect he same on the front end./pickup. And it puts pressure on this working the desk and they aren't the friendliest I'm sure they could be or would like to be. Too there credit they were trying. The beautiful AA woman was the savior of the operation at the desk. Your yard help is awesome - knowledgeable, friendly and hospitable.

Our rental time was 7am, nobody showed up till 7:10. Nobody was there initially to help hook up the trailer. Eventually someone came out, but couldn’t figure out how to hook up the trailer because the ball on the hitch was higher than the receptacle on the trailer. I suggested that my son and I could help lift it. Then he couldn’t get the “third” shell that keeps the trailer upright retracted. He went to get help but my son finally got it to retract. The trailer was full of leaves when we picked it up. Finally, we had to help get the trailer off the hitch because the U-Haul person couldn’t do it themselves.

Literally people peeing in the parking lot and smoking weed. When you get to the front desk they don't have the equipment that you have reserved well in advance and most employees are no where to be found, just one guy at the front desk on his airpods while there's a line 6 people deep. Totally insane.

The pick experience was unpleasant. The desk rep made no eye contact, I couldn’t understand what he was saying as his voice was fast and slurred, and he was totally disengaged. Pick up was different. I witnessed a female desk rep doing Ana amazing job at customer service with another customer. Then she saw a line building and came and got my key and said we could go.

Just a note that the door was stuck and that prevented me from going to storage so I had to keep the truck longer than I anticipated. It worked out and I was very happy that you haul did not charge me extra for the time that it took because of the breakdown. Roadside assistance was quick and efficient and helpful. Everybody in customer service that I spoke to was very helpful. The front desk was very helpful and made everything really easy. Moving is incredibly stressful for me and having a pleasant experience really helped. I will definitely use U-Haul again.
