The truck accelerated on its own three times. This happened when maneuvering/backing up or turning around. Was full throttle and thank goodness no one or no other vehicles were around as they would have been hit for sure. Very dangerous - please look into if for future safety.

HARRY HI had a superb experience at Uhaul in Farmington Hills off of Grand River for my recent truck reservation. Kenyon Carson is who I believe assisted me with my reservation, and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had all of the information that I needed, answered all of my questions and was very professional and personable. I would give my experience 5 stars overall. And I will certainly be making future reservations at this location from here on out as long as Kenyon works here!

DAVID BLady at counter desk was very rude.1st example was at the counter I've booked motorcycle trailer for 10 days. When I checked in, she started checking if anybody else had booked the trailer in the future, which i told her that this is not my concern, because i've booked it for 10 days, so i expect to be using it for 10 days. She had basically very unplesant attitude the whole time I was there in the office and also outside when i was hooking up this trailer. Another thing was trailer tires were low on pressure and electric cable was not working and needed to be replaced.

CELESTINE TI used the app for faster service but was unable to check in using it so entered the store. Upon arrival no one was at the counter or on the grounds. When I called the number like the app suggested the phone rang at the counter we were waiting at, no one came to answer the phone. We waited about 5 more minutes and then knocked on the EMPLOYEES ONLY door and the door was opened immediately. 2 employees came out: a man, and a woman who had 2 bags of fast food in her hands. The man said he'd be with me in a minute and went into the bathroom; returning a few minutes later he began to help us. He was very helpful but seemed to be confused about the app. Another customer came in at that point and the lady employee looked at him (still with the bags of fast food in her hands) and said he'll help you in a moment and walked away entering an employee only double door entrance. The man that was helping us finished up, got us out to the trailer, hooked us up. He was very knowledgeable. I felt bad for the person who had to wait the entire time to be helped.
TODD OThe lady at the desk was less than pleasant and acted like she was annoyed by my questions and me renting a truck. I am not used to Uhaul and wanted to make sure I got everything right. Usually, when I rent heavy equipment, I am offered a walk-through and additional support. After I left, I called and asked about the text for pre-photos as I didn't answer it before I left. She simply stated "you left it's too late" and then I asked if it causes my insurance to drop, etc, and she simply stated "you have your contract." The renter should be escorted to take photos or something different. I don't need excellent customer service, but I expect a more friendly attitude. The location is ideal for me, but this lady was not too pleasant or helpful. In addition, I haul with a full size truck and 20' trailer fairly often. Where this rental was placed, I had to do a multi-point turn to get it out (less than convenient). I could not have taken pre-photos where the truck was parked anyhow and if I pick it up from the location, shouldn't the pre photos already exist as post photos or photos taken from Uhaul? This process could be improved. Today, when I dropped the truck off, there was a gentleman who had a truck that had a low-tire pressure light and he had to wait again in line to get a different truck which was not my issue, but made me question if the trucks are checked thoroughly.

MARCELLA CVan had several problems. It wouldn't shift into park easily. Passenger side door wouldn't close unless it was slammed. The transmission 3/2 downshift slammed hard. Jemika FThe trailer rental experience was great. I reserved online the morning of the rental and the pickup was stress free. The return was also stress free, even though the return was right at closing time. The employ was glad to assist with my return and stated that I was all set and that he would be emailing my receipt to me. I received the receipt a little later and the rental was complete. Great job guys.
Ronald MCasey helped us get the tow dolly going and was super helpful and wonderful to chat with. I also appreciated how Casey and another employee said "God Bless" we have way too much vitriol in our society so it was so welcome to hear kindness being spread. Keep up the good work.

BRIAN HIt’s not a problem with this location, but when I used the app for return, it glitched during upload of equipment photos. Happened the same way a week earlier when returning to a different location.
