When dropping the vehicle off I needed to go in a pick up some boxes. The gentleman inside was very noticeable high. I had also had a long day and really wasn't in the mood. When I walked away to get the boxes he proceeds to tell my girlfriend oh he must be high as hell. Because if I stays they I would have been even more upset with the way he was assisting us. Increasingly UHaul is charging customers to do work that UHaul should be doing. Folding moving pads is an example. They are not prepared by my folding them for the next customer. Someone needs to touch those pads, clean them, package them and get them ready. Why am I threatened with a $25 bill if I don't fold the pads. When I return the truck, I have to take pictures, record the odometer, and process the check-in myself. There is a man sitting behind a counter appearing to be on his phone, and I am doing the work. I paid good money for UHaul. I don't want to work for UHaul and I don't want to do the work employees should be doing. The truck drove poorly. It had no USB charger. It had no cruise control. I am renting another truck on December 2 and I will return to Penske.John T.

When a customer asks for support on something they are not sure about do not just tell them to follow the prompts online. If you are there to support customer service hire people that are willing and wanting to help you. I felt completly disrespected upon my pickup of the truck. Tha gas tank was only at a quarter of a tank and the requirement is 1/2 full. The brakes ABS light was on and it felt overall like the equipment wasn't even ready just gave me a key and figure it out for yourself. Wil never do business with this location again.Jonathan P.

Representative was watching the football game on his phone while taking my info down. He entered that Ivwould be driving a total of 6 mile, when it was 6 miles one way. He was so involved that he couldn't help me with the explanation of mileage. I figured out later after I received an additional charge of $16. When I called, I was told it was for mileage. I figured if the representatives wasn't so indulged in the game, he could have helped me figure out my estimate of mileage a lil better.michele M.

The location I was supposed to pick up my rental at was closed and I had to drive out 30 extra minutes to a new location to get a truck. At the new location the employee was watching a sports game on their phone the entire time, so the whole process took a ridiculous amount of time. The employees almost couldn't find the key for the truck. No one showed us which truck was ours so we had to go up to every truck in the lot to find it. I tried calling to drop my truck off at a closer location, but the wait was 40 minutes during a very hectic moving day. That was impossible. I ended up just dropping it off at the closer location anyway even though I don't feel like I should have to pay extra fees for such a terrible experience.Sydney C.

Customer service at this location is so bad. They make us wait in the line while the employees talk some random stuff. Very slow service. Most bogus staff. Old man was there to insult you. Super slow. I booked truck at 4 pm And received at 4 pm with notice to return by 4 pm. Is that fair business?Never ever come to this location. Truck doesn't have brake. Truck right rear side air was too down. Tires were that bad , it was spinning all time. I put air in tires. My relative was supposed book u-haul from this location. I was told multiple times I would receive a 50 dollar credit by customer support because time after time my reservation was unable to be fulfilled by the locations. Unfortunately I never received this credit, and had to manually call around myself to find someone that had the trailer I needed in stock. Disappointed in the false promises by the call centers, especially since I have been a repeat customer since day 1.
