The truck was frosted when I got it and had to be scraped. But no scraper. No one attended me to the truck. Once I asked for a scraper, they sprayed driver on it. It looks like I was double billed, but that may clear itself out. I’ll have to monitor. Overall, I generally like using Uhaul, but not this location.

Each time I’ve been helped by this specific staff member, I’ve been met with disrespect and misplaced blame, which has not happened to me at any other U-Haul location. Melissa KThis location is horrible. Go elseware. The person at the counter lied through his teeth. They said that no U haul place has any appliance dolies in a 20 mile radiaus. When another customer stated that home depot hand them. This person stated that they only sold them. Which was a lie. Then truck ran rough. I drove 4 miles and did not idle at all. the gas gauge was still touching the full marker but I was chaged for gas. This place will rip you off. Stay away Date of nonservice 1-4-26

JOSEPH DU-Haul rep (LaShata S. I believe) made this an extremely negative experience. Really bad attitude that showed. Recommend strongly that U-Haul question if she should represent U-Haul.
BRIAN JI waited over 20 minutes in the lobby before I saw anyone and and then they went back in the back to help another customer. But then I waited another almost 18 minutes before they came back and helped me. From the moment I pulled in the parking lot to the moment I left with my trailer elapsed time was 48 minutes. Unacceptable. The wiring harness on the trailer was inoperable when I picked it up and they had to swap it out. The trailer itself was in good condition.
Amber EHad a great experience at the 30711 Grand River Ave location. Ms Lashata took such great care to ensure that we have a warm place to load up the container as the temperature was in the low teens. She then made sure to followup on the pick up of the container and called us to let us know that it has left the premise, on its way to destination. I'm so happy with my choice of moving and really pleased with how it was all handled.
Linda DBought a trailer plug adapter, opened it in front of employee, adapter broke and did not light up as advertised. Employee said oh well to bad, would you like to cancel the rental.... Wow contact for wrong trailer and still have not seen the property paperwork even when I returned equipment

YAGEL BGreat experience! Customer service was excellent. Both U-Haul employees were very helpful. A female employee, who processed my rental was very patient and informative. When I returned my rental, the male employee took the time to explain my charges and quickly checked my rental for cleanliness and damage. I had a very easy, no stress experience!
BRIDGET MAssistant manager on duty gave me a hard time claiming her 8 foot pick up truck was broken even though i reserved it and all the truck needed was oil. I am a certified mechanic and am familiar with these vehicles. I needed that truck but they made me use a larger vehicle and it made the rest of my day so much more difficult. She claimed to give a courtesy discount but never applied the discount.
PAULOBRYAN DI reserved a truck and went there on time to pick it up. The associate went to clean the snow off the truck. After waiting 10-15 minutes, he came back saying the truck turned off when he started driving it. So he gave me a different one, which didn't have snow on the windshield. So I went to drive the truck, it was a wrong one, that had thick snow on the windshield. So they cleaned it. All this took time. I probably spent at least 30-45 minutes for a truck. After I drove off from the uhaul lot to pick up the item, the back door didn't open. Thankfully the seller opened it with crowbar. It wasn't a pleasant experience.
MOHAMMAD AEvery time, I pick up, a vehicle, it in need of a car wash, this time was in need of a top up, windshield washer fluid.
REGINALD LThe truck was new. I was to tow a Trailer to Charlotte that had nothing to do with this location. It was a total Clown Show. Your team that handles that needs some serious work.
ROBERT JImprove the app so that equipment like an appliance dolly is available when you reserve one. The representatives at my location were awesome and when they realized that my reserved appliance dolly was not available or at any other location, they went above and beyond to find me the warehouses appliance dolly to use. It worked out perfect and I was able to move my giant refrigerator. Thank you to those 2 representatives because I know they looked everywhere for it. They wanted to make the customer happy in a situation that was out of their control due to the uhaul application glitch. Whoever you are thank you, Merry Christmas and God Bless you!
JEFFREY WCustomer service was poor. Representative busy on their phone and even while working with me spent more time on their phone than helping me get my vehicle. Vehicle was dirty inside and had a bunch of garbage inside left from the last driver.

MICHAEL RWhen I arrived and checked in the young man was extremely courteous and nice and when I returned, there was a young lady who was impatient and seemed irrated when I asked her to explain the charges. So I asked if she could slow down and the attitude still persist. I wont be coming back to this location because of her. I have used this location before and have recommend it to family members. I will definitely let.my family know they have a rude and impatient female worker there and for them to brace themselves. Don't be alarmed Im telling you now.

KIRK HThe truck accelerated on its own three times. This happened when maneuvering/backing up or turning around. Was full throttle and thank goodness no one or no other vehicles were around as they would have been hit for sure. Very dangerous - please look into if for future safety.

HARRY HI had a superb experience at Uhaul in Farmington Hills off of Grand River for my recent truck reservation. Kenyon Carson is who I believe assisted me with my reservation, and he went above and beyond to ensure that I had all of the information that I needed, answered all of my questions and was very professional and personable. I would give my experience 5 stars overall. And I will certainly be making future reservations at this location from here on out as long as Kenyon works here!

DAVID BLady at counter desk was very rude.1st example was at the counter I've booked motorcycle trailer for 10 days. When I checked in, she started checking if anybody else had booked the trailer in the future, which i told her that this is not my concern, because i've booked it for 10 days, so i expect to be using it for 10 days. She had basically very unplesant attitude the whole time I was there in the office and also outside when i was hooking up this trailer. Another thing was trailer tires were low on pressure and electric cable was not working and needed to be replaced.
