Make sure they check if gas before saying it’s at where it’s at they said it was half of tank when we got it it was completely empty yet put 150 dollers for the use for it in town went only 5 to 10 miles over and charge me still alott put down was 391.53 got back 247.12 that’s leaving me 144.41 so in total I spend 294.41 total feels I really got back 97.12 that’s too much I would not go to this place ever again lousy services they don’t even check the vehicle. just the keys and paperwork and send you out the door lousy service

I rented a 20’ U-Haul truck today with a scheduled pickup time of 8:00 AM, and unfortunately the entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When I arrived, the staff scanned my driver’s license and both of my phones, and then told me their system was down. Instead of proactively resolving the issue, it took them almost one full hour to call customer service for assistance. During this time, I had two workers waiting, whom I am paying $50 per hour, so the delay was costly. When I politely mentioned that I needed the process expedited because of my workers waiting, the manager’s attitude changed noticeably. It appeared that he became intentionally slower. The paperwork had already been printed, the key was sitting on the table, yet he refused to hand it to me and kept walking in and out of the building without any explanation. Eventually, he handed me the key and told me to “go find your car.” When I went outside, the truck was nowhere to be found. I returned inside and told him, and it took him another 10 minutes to come outside. Even he could not locate it at first. After additional delays, he said it was “in the back,” but the truck was blocked by another vehicle. He told me he needed to get the key to move that vehicle, went inside again, and did not return for another 10 minutes. When I went back into the building, he was casually talking to someone else as if the delay did not matter at all. When I finally got to the truck, I discovered it had no gas—the fuel light was on. I reported this, and the manager simply told me to go to a gas station and fill it myself, despite the inconvenience and the time already wasted. Overall, the customer service was extremely poor, disorganized, and borderline negligent. The delays caused me financial loss and significant frustration. I have rented from U-Haul many times and have never experienced anything like this. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, and that appropriate follow-up or compensation be considered. Never visit this location. They gave me first truck with no fuel. It didn't start. Then they gave me 2nd truck ,that was also totally empty. I put fuel from a gas station, for 45 dollars. When i retuned, they provide me only $ 20 dollar credit. They wasted my one hour at the location, while my labor was waiting at the picking up location for stuff moving. They charged me total $ 100. So , please never go for U HAUL . Hope i could give them a 0 star. i drove the truck for 34 miles , while they charged me for 40 miles. When i contacted with customer care, the lady didn't give me any specific answer, although i have photos for meter reading. very bad service of U HAUL . I will never get services from U HAUL in future.

The vehicle had almost no gas in it. The low fuel warning light was on. I could have easily stalled without any fuel in it. Ridiculous. There should be a minimum of a quarter tank in any vehicle before returning it to service.

My UHaul was on Empty, I had to go straight to a gas station, and then go to my destination. I paid at least an extra 50 dollars in miles and left the UHaul with more fuel than I received it in. Not acceptable.

We ordered a furniture mover, it was not provided. The gas tank was at 3/4 tank when we returned, they said it was 1/3 and charged us $20 for gas.

Have an associate walk around the truck with the customer to assure the truck is ready for the customer to leave with it. Also assist customer in locating the truck so they don’t have to walk through out the parking lot trying to locate it on their own.

There appeared to be a small leak in the trailer we rented, toward the back near the door. Nothing damaged — we had plastic bins in that area of the trailer — but mentioning it so it can be repaired. Thanks so much.

The truck's gas tank was almost empty. I was surprised that U Haul would rent something like that, as I had to fill up the tank right away since I was traveling over 150 miles one way.

i had a reservation at 9 am i got there 15 min early and there was only one person working the counter took me almost 40 min for me to get my truck witch was on empty i had to get gas immediately it really put me back about one hour off my already tight schedule. then i felt sick to my stomach as i was driving the trck at it bounced more than any truck i have ever used from there. over all it was a bad experiance for me

Be patient 🙏 A lot of people use Uhaul rentals and always go back. I've never had a problem with staff or equipment. A day rentals is way better than spending $$$$ on a trailer that ill use once or twice.

Using mobile check in on your app is ridiculous and doesn't work, so I had to wait in line for a half hour cause you only have 1 damn person working the store. Your prices are a complete bait and switch. 99 cents per mile for a damn cargo van??? Give me a break. The only way you can spend $19.95 to rent it, is to rent it and then not drive it off the lot. You don't even have any included miles in your price. Who the hell rents something and only drives a couple miles. Maybe include 25 miles in that $19.95 base price. Maybe charge 25 cents a mile. You'd still make money and people would actually use your service more. I certainly won't. I'm done with U-haul.

Long wait to check in with an advance reservation. Only one agent on duty. The web-based app where you take photos as directed and upload them is a JOKE! I took much better photos without the app getting in my way and limiting my framing area. The app was NOT intuitive and very slow and difficult and time-consuming to use. You should change the web app so that renters simply take their own photos first and then upload them out of their photo libraries.

Vehicle was out of fuel due to someone siphoning the gas out of it. I was not positive if I would even make it to the gas station around the corner. The vehicle interior was clean, the exterior does not look like it’s seen a scrub brush in months.

I rented a trailer and the staff didn't take the lock off when I left. I got home and found the lock on. I had to drive all the way back to Uhaul to have the lock removed.

More help behind the desk would help. The office I was at had a long wait in line but there was only 1 person behind the desk to help customers. Overall my experience was great as far as the check in & explanation of everything.

If I wasn’t in a rush I would have asked for some compensation. Went to rent it at 11am between the dead battery and employees speed was not out of there till 1145. First truck they gave me had a dead battery. Second one the hood never closes and pops open while driving. The return process was very bad. Low staff miscommunication between them. Many people waiting in line they didn’t give one guy the key to the lock on the truck. Was a painful return

We picked up the 15' truck with only 1/4 tank of gas, so the fuel light came on as soon as we arrived at our destination and the check engine light came on as soon as we left the parking lot. It was super inconvenient to have to stop and get gas with a fully loaded truck instead of filling it after unloading everything before we returned it.
