The trailer size I reserved multiple days in advance and needed was not available and I had to take a smaller trailer which caused more trips and work. Very frustrating when I notes one just left on a veicle and the reservation person said oh, that was a walk in. Chaos during check in and drop off. I was not even the right person on the computer account at drop off, but my paper was right.Dale V.

Customer service was horrible. The reservation for the specific uhaul was not available when I showed up. I had a specific window time slot for moving-I had movers booked- the uhaul location sent me to two different locations. 3 total-which was over an hour out of my way. The manager Chris provided good service checking in, however when I returned he was not there and the customer service was poor. I will rent from enterprise next time. Reservations are made at specific locations at specific times for a reason.Hollie C.

I was originally returning the trailer to the location on 4645 N. Blithe Ave, however, even though it stated online that there was 24 hour returns, there was not. A really big Inconvenience for me to find out at two in the morning that I have to drive another 30 minutes out of my intended route just to drop off the trailer. Aside from that, the black stone location was very easy to find and to offload.Maria I.

My reservation for a 6x12 trailer was cancelled and nobody notified me. I had to switch to a smaller trailer which equated to more trips. But I ended up spending more time in the parking lot because the first trailer hooked up wasn't even acceptable to use so they had to switch my trailers again.Christopher W.

Check my account. I have rented from you regularly for YEARS. I am so tired of dealing with your ineptitude, I finally bought a trailer for my own use. I cannot wait for it to arrive. I am so tired of your lack of service, your filthy trailers, and your incompetent and briefly employed staff. I've told everyone to buy a trailer.. it's less hassle and cheaper. You've got the market, but you're not paying attention or responding to your customer base. I cannot tell you how many complaints I've registered, and I've yet to receive a response. This is not how you get repeat business. I'm embarrassed to say I stuck with you way too long.Rebecca M.

There was a major mechanical issue with the truck that I was given and I tried over 10 times to contact the location to inform them and was placed on holds over an hour and then hung up on before anyone came on. I missed two calls from the location and because I couldn't contact them back they threatened to report the truck stolen when it hadn't even been over 24 hours since I picked it up and left that in the second voicemail. I left my wife's number as alternate contact which was never called, so it wasn't as if I was not able to be contacted. I literally ended up reporting to roadside assistance through u-haul online because I couldn't get through via phone. I also ordered and paid for a dolly that wasn't included and charged for the milage. I had also purchased more gas than was used because the truck had to be towed away, but there were no credits or refunds for any of that. The truck was so out of gas when I picked it up that the gas light was on and it literally died as I was pulling in to the closest gas station to the location. The mechanic who came to check the truck said it had been sitting for an extended amount of time because there were black widow spider webs all over the frame underneath. Shouldn't these trucks be checked occasionally for safety? The mechanic said if it had been they would have noticed the massive amount of damage to the drive train of the truck. The vibration and noise coming from the truck over 40mph was so violent that there is no way that the person who had the truck before me didn't report it. U-haul I will still be contacting you if I can ever get through and I expect some sort of refund or fix for this situation. Very unprofessional.Leslie S.

So when I got the truck, the mileage was about 50 miles higher and the gas was lower. Also, the back wasn't cleaned. There were cereal bar wrappers and a few other things. But, the staff afterwards did help me out and took a little off the end price. I have nothing against the location or the company. There needs to be better communication about drop offs. I was charged two days for dropping off after hours. I was told dropping off before midnight was acceptable for the one-day rate. And we're very unaccommodating. Working directly with a local store is much better.
