The only issue I had was the attendant that checked me out upon delivery was to me very lazy. He then said he had a bad back and could not dismount the trailer. I then told him my son in law and I would do it. I'm sure U haul has policies where customers aren't allowed to mount or dismount equipment.

For a total of 8 times I have used U-Haul of Fresno. Every time I have received nothing but great service, including this visit. The man who served us did so very well, and we had some conversations together about collector cars. I am sorry I cannot remember his name, but it had three letters.

I was given a truck with a fuel cap issue and the check engine light on. I have never had a truck run so poorly. I had to rent the truck for an extra day because it took twice as long to commute anywhere. The truck jerked so badly that I had to slow down and hope nothing was broken. The truck should have had maintenance instead of being rented. I am very disappointed.

I turned the truck in may 27th, 2023. The two people that were working deserve all the credit, and probably need a substantial raise. They we're under staffed because other employees called in sick, and as a business owner myself I know how tuff that is.

Workers are very rude and disrespectful. Was charged more for rental than original quote. Vehicle was not clean at all, all full of nasty stains everywhere, returned it early clean and they rented it out 5 min later. Manager acted like he was gonna fight us. Pulling up his pants and coming from behind the counter. Trying to challenge us about how we were charged. I asked the worker to charge on two separate cards which he chose not to do then got mad at us and made us leave. I want a phone call 559-955-6384

Trucks AC didn't work, had engine lights on, and transmission overheating. 90 + degree day with no AC not good experience. Truck was junk but the staff was good. I feel I should have received discount , I h add d to end my day early due to truck condition.

Not a good experience overall. Had a long wait in picking up the equipment because the computers were “down”. Employees seemed to be lost as apparently you have no back-up to deal with this situation. Thankfully the computers came back up shortly. Dropping off the equipment was not much better. No one came up to check me in, so I had to go inside and get in a long line. After some time I asked if there was a yard person available to check in the trailer I was returning. I was initially instructed that I could unhook it myself and I would receive a receipt via email. The person then decided he would unhook it and told me I would receive the receipt via email. Not a very customer friendly experience.

The only complaint is that when I picked up the truck in Stockton, there was 1/8 of a tank of gas, and that was indicated on the receipt, so I returned the truck with 1/8 of a tank BUT when I got home and looked at the emailed receipt, it saud that when I picked up the truck in Stockton there was 1/4 of a tank when I dropped off in Fresno. I have proof on paper that the truck only had 1/8 in the tank. I was charged over $28.00 for gas by UHaul. How can they make mistakes like that? I will call Fresno and get them to refund the gas charge.

I rent allot of U-Hauls in average truce a month. For years now. This location has a serious gas siphoning problem. So on renting the U-Haul it never has the amount of fuel its supposed to have, also since they pull houses and put hippies in the tanks in order to get that fuel that they evap system is compromised. Bot only do you need to refuel before you even get to use the U-Haul but more problematic the truck doesn't get the gas mileage it should. Costing the customer even more. I know you can solve this problem because Penske has, so I know it's possible. I'm referring to U-Haul of Fresno and also the Mid City branches.

I was instructed to park my vehicle behind the u-haul building or on the street. Expecting to keep the pickup over night, I didn't want my car on the street. There was NO PARKING anywhere behind their immediate building. (I took pictures) I parked in the parking lot where there were vacancies. My car was locked in overnight where I couldn't get it. I was furious! The woman was very rude. No "I'm sorry" at all. Her boss did call and apologize, but help in getting my car. Instructions need to be precise!! I'm sure I wasn't the first person to ever do this. If so, make sure the next person has GOOD information. It really put me and my friends out by having to cart me around to meetings.

Check engine light was on upon pickup. Van was supposed to have 1/4 tank of gas -- it was empty. Ran out of gas en route to gas station after picking up the van, then discovered there was no cap on the gas tank.

The truck was only minimally clean and it shook badly, more than most. We were given a truck that only had 1/4 of a tank of gas in it. We only used 1/8 of a tank and, therefore, decided to let the location fill it up and, as is usual when renting a truck, pay more per gallon of gas than you would at a gas station. We were not told that there would be an $80 fee for not gassing up ourselves.Therefore, we paid $80 for 1/8 of a tank of gas. This is outrageous. If Haul is going to charge such a ridiculous fee, they should say so when they rent the truck. It was just a money grab and I will never rent from this location again.

I don't understand that if you rent moving blankets, and don't open the package, why they wouldn't be refunded? That seems counter to anything purchased for a price, then unused, doesn't get refunded? Surprised by that.

Don't Armoral the driver side floor or the gas and brake pedals. It makes those surfaces very slippery and could create an accident.

Employee Gabriela Valenzuela was rude, unwelcoming, unhelpful and useless. Inadequate customer parking. Truck she provided was dirty, had door damage making it hard to open/close and was parked in wrong location. Had to go inside 3 times to complete transaction. Avoid this location and Gabby at all costs.
