EDGAR LI was returning the rental around 5 minutes before close of the location and all workers are very anxious leave the work. They were all telling me to use the app to check out and left. App was not easy to use for me to check out. I ended up calling customer service with 38 minutes of waiting on the phone. Customer service personal told me to call back the store in the morning to check out.So, I called them next day morning but they did not answered the call and it was transferred to customer service again. And told me to call back store after 20 minutes. And I did not have time to call them back again.

JOHN TThe same process that you guys have to check in equipment like Dolly and extra stuff you should have the same process to check it out because I never received it and then they attempted to charge me 120 customer service was 50-50. Some people were extremely rude. Other people were very helpful and kind.

DAVID WEmployees tried to state I didn’t return the trailer I used. I returned is 1 hour before my return time was up. Before you start saying someone took or didn’t return something, check your parking lot or parking stalls to see if the equipment is there, if you tell a costumer to do a specific thing and then they do it for the return. Don’t say the stole it, go look before you throw accusations out please. It isn’t that hard to go look in the exact stall you told me to park it in.

MICHAEL GHAd to dfind womeone to help unload the trailer. I was offered a receipt but decline. My mistake. Ended up getting emails and texts becasue the trailer was never checked back in. I dropped it off on Sunday morning and it was not checked in till Wednesday. Gave me a lot of stress when I received the emails and text.
ERIK Bwrong fuel was recorded before I got it. the back area had ... several pieces of debris that needed to be cleaned out. otherwise was excellent.
BEN JStaff were struggling with slow computers due to a service system issue. This issue was not their fault but Uhaul IT should look into alternative systems for employees to use (maybe an iPad portal) if systems are down. Excellent service from the employees even as they dealt with the tech issue
Christopher DI was very pleased with the whole experience honestly. We had zero breakage even after the 3000 mile trip. Partly because we followed the guidelines in the packing videos and partly because we had a friend helping who is experienced. We were pleased that our boxes were the upgraded metal and fiberglass for the cross country move, rather than the wood boxes. The cost is less than a lot of other pod services. I suppose if there’s anything that could be improved it’s making sure the customer understands all the fees for the entire process, that there is a box drop off fee separate from the transport fee. I would use this service again.

WILLIAM LNothing. North Fresno associates and mechanics were awesome. They went above and beyond to make sure that my ride was safe on my one-way trailer rental. I forgot the guy‘s name but he had long hair. I’d give him a bigger tip if I had more cash on me he was very helpful.

DARRIN BFirst of all, I have no idea if the equipment was well maintained. It also was not swept out from previous user. There was some trash inside. These survey questions are a bit misleading. I have no reason to recommend or not recommend the location to a friend.
Larry GThe employee I checked in with lied about the amount of gas that was in the tank. He marked it as full but it was actually almost empty. This seemed like a fraudulent attempt to get me to pay for a full tank of gas.
MARISA GI have many locations close to the house but I prefer this one because the attention is fast, the parking lot is ample and the service is very good.
Pablo LThey fucked me on crediting me on the left over gas I had in the truck. It was bone dry on gas when i got it.
CHARLES HThe trailer was dirty when I picked it up. It had garbage in it, and it didn’t look like it was even swept. As I drove away with the trailer, the thing made a horrible racket like it wasn’t secure. I stopped three times to check because the noise was horrendous. When I returned the trailer, the clerk laughed and said yeah we hear that all the time the design on the trailers is off and they all rattle like they’re gonna break your hitch.

MARGARITA GProximity is the only reason I use this location. This manager insists on maximum use of any on-site equipment. Little or no rental equipment is available for walk in customers. Even the "pick-up truck" is deemed not to be rented due to mileage restrictions. Often (if not chronically) the lines are long and wait times are interminable. I am a frequent flyer with many thousands of miles in your trucks. While your fleet has improved, the attitude of the management and overall experience has downgraded immensely. Upper management (ownership) needs to get their act together, cost of entrance into the market is the only thing you folks have going for you. An Uber style app would put you out of business in a heartbeat. I now cringe each and every time I find it necessary to use your service up to a solid consideration and serious conversation about purchasing a truck or trailer rather than renting from you. This last trip would have been cheaper just to buy a truck and re-sell it on this end when I was done with it.

MARGARET HAssume responsibility when clients like me are insured and trusting that the insurance you guys offer will cover accidents that can happen while renting your U-Haul be more clear. Bc your insurance is literally take money and not wanting to cover for anything.

Also, it would be nice too if someone could show you how to use the vehicles instead of trying to have to figure it out on your own.

OTIS PI always try to fins a different location but this one is closest to me but if I could I would go elsewhere. The lines are always long here and I don't think i have ever seen more than one person working up front. 24/7 ride share still had me going inside to get a key and they parked it so close to another truck I could barely get in or take a picture of the driver side not to mention they parked it with a pole behind it so it was hard to get a back picture. The gas tank was empty I had to go straight to the gas station. When I went in to get the key after using the mobile app there were 9 people in line waiting and no one at the counter.

AARON MThis location is trying to steal gas money. I received the vehicle on 1/4 tank with instructions to return on 1/4 tank. I left the Modesto location and immediately went to put gas in the vehicle, put $50.01 in the tank, drove about 1000 feet, loaded up the truck, dropped off my stuff in Madera and returned the truck with more than a quarter tank and they say I returned it empty and charged me. I would like that charge reversed and returned to my card.
