The location was adequate, in fact the local representatives were very helpful. I do take huge issue with the overall process however. Firstly the pickup destination was changed to a destination further away than the original. This added miles and subsequently cost to the overall project. When I started the rental process on site, I was told that someone would call me to confirm the reservation and allow me to drive the truck, however no one called and I had to get assistance from the local rep. I was given a muddy truck with the fuel light almost on, way below the 1/8th mark. By the time I drove 10 miles to my destination the fuel low light was on, despite me turning off the air conditioning and driving conservatively to aid fuel efficiency. This only added to my anxiety as U-Haul delayed us picking up the truck by not calling when they said they would. Before I returned the rental I added $20 exactly of fuel, way more than what I was issued with when I picked up the truck. I was then charged extra on top by U-Haul for fuel. Overall I would absolutely not recommend the no contact rental, and in fact U-Haul in general.

Employee was really rude and not helpful at all. When I got my truck the back door was locked with a lock and I could not open it. I had to go back to the location for them to open the lock for me. When I returned the car the employee was really rude and ready for me to get out of there. No social skills and lack customer service

I was told that if I didn’t take the whole 9 days I would be refunded what I didn’t use and that was not the case. I rented on a Monday and had it to the final destination 4 days later when I had 9 days. Deception is not right when running a business

It's weird to have the equipment rented with low gas. The truck had 19 miles to empty. I had to go fill it up after renting.

The call center is really complicated and really difficult They kept calling me to try to schedule a drop off location different from what we had agreed on when I picked up. The truck was wasting a lot of my times and gave me a lot of anxiety thinking that something was wrong.

Original branch didn’t have the truck nor the equipment. They sent me to another branch 10 minutes before the appointment. The equipment requested was not complete in the new location. I used to receive excellent service. Not today.

The uhual truck air-conditioning did not work the temperature was 103" had to drive without air 360 miles,the mirror on driver's side kept facing down tried fixing it and it wouldn't stay. It was experience I've had with uhual.

When i return the truck rental i didn’t know there was a miles fee and environmental fee the never told me about it when got the rental especially the miles fee .and not only that they try to charge me for two days when i got it only for one day ..they suck ass

My check in time was 9am, the same time I arrived. Didn't check in until 942am because of the line. The workers were extremely nice and helpful! Great customer service for p/u and drop off. Made the wait not bad! I just wouldn't recommend because they dont have mobile check out & a long wait.

Truck given with tank on empty

When returning the trailer a semi truck was unloading and people were backed up out to Blackstone Avenue in Fresno trying to return equipment. I end up dropping the trailer in the U-Haul yard and went inside and the person was overwhelmed, so I just raised my hand and left. Got a call the next morning asking when I return my trailer told them the situation and they went out and find the trailer and all was good.

When I got my truck it had only 1/8 of a tank. And the check in paper stated there was 1/4 of a tank. Pieces of the truck were broken too upon receiving it.

I had to wait almost 1/2 hour for the truck as it was not where I was told it would be and employees had to take time to find it. Gas tank was empty and front windshield and hood were street/bug dirty. Interior was clean.

Everyone at this location were stellar. From the young man that rented me the trailer to the gentleman that I returned the trailer to. They were courteous, quick, and helpful. I recommend this u-haul location to anyone and everyone.

The location on Blackstone near Bullard helped me out with a really tough situation where movers did not take everything in the move. I was able to get a short term rental to do the remaining work myself for about 6 hours at a fraction of what a follow-up service would have cost me. The staff was exceptionally friendly and I would recommend this location to anyone looking for a truck/van rental

Cashiers (David) is young and he lacks the customer service skills needed for the position, he was also disrespectful. My order wasn't complete and when I inquired about the $50 guaranty, he rudely stated "First come -first serve". Luckily the manager (Villasenor) walked in and made things right.

Fresno staff was truly exceptional. Sheila was extremely helpful with delaying the delivery and scheduling it for storage instead, then organizing delivery on a short notice, calling and checking that everything is okay. Pamella handled the U-Boxes like small matchboxes, with great care and precision. I will organize my next move through U-Haul again - easy scheduling and make changes on the go. Thank you!

Gas was on completely empty had 0 until empty. I went multiple times to tell them it was still on E on 0 and I adjusted the amount where it was given at but they still claimed they gave me half a tank when they only gave me enough gas to drive to a gas station and now U-Haul is charging me extra.

The Winchester VA location was great. Friendly staff, pods were available in a timely manner, and great communication. Fresno, CA location was terrible! They’re not friendly, they don’t answer the phone, the parking lot is a disaster, the staff stood around for over an hour while I was waiting for them to grab my pods even though I asked for them to be out and available Monday at 1:30 when I called on Saturday. It was a terrible experience.

Not friendly at all, My grandmas car got scrapped in the parking lot since it was over capacity, there was only 1 worker there and he was very very rude. He took the keys and said we were good to go i didnt fill out any paper work or anything. the next week i was contacted saying the truck was never returned and almost charged another fee. This is unbelievable ive never had such issue with a company. I will never use uhaul again. I will be going to enterprise. I was not given a discount for any of my in-convinces. I will be writing a report to the Better Business Bureau

Trick was dirty and had old trash and cups inside. Gas tank only had 3/4 of a tank even though they marked the tank full on the paperwork. Cost me and extra $45 fill it.

I waited in the truck for ten minutes and no one came out to receive it. I had to go inside and wait in line for someone to become available. Once that was done all was fine, but it wasn't that busy and should not have taken 20 minutes in total just to drop off a truck.
