SCOTT MHave gas in the truck and replace faulty mechanisms. The truck leaked gas due to vandals syphoning gas. It took an extra hour to leave because the gas meter read zero miles to empty. Now I’m out extra money in order to complete the job and make sure that there is a quarter tank at drop off.
Brent FThe location and employees were nice when within working hours. When dropping off the truck at delivery after hours, a homeless person jumped out of a parked truck and ran off. Other homeless in the area created a questionable safe environment. If dropping off after hours, a security person on site would be good…or individuals could be made aware of the location homeless/drug population.

VICTOR PCustomer experience was not good. Feels like workers could care less. They also do not explain process well. Perhaps they are overworked or understaffed and resentful. I will not use Uhaul again. There are too many other options.

Jesse KMy truck was not pulled out to center of the lot. It had none of the blankets or Dollie’s that I had requested in it and the check engine light was on with 133000 miles. I also had to scrape the ice off the windows myself. And customer service was not helpful - the one guy working there.

He was annoyed when we asked to switch the size of the truck because we needed a U-Haul with the ramp , he didn’t like me asking my mom about the insurance , I felt like I couldn’t ask about the charges . He was not happy to be inside helping me cause the other guy was helping someone else . The guy had to come in from Outside to help cause it was busy .

I returned the gas tank a TINY BIT under a quarter and they had almost charged me a fee but i explained to him that I received the uhual at 50 miles. He remembered and helped me out with this. He was there all day which i appreciated just in case i had issues. Great customer service I would say having more people in the front would help because I did have to wait about 20 minutes before talking to someone.
DEJALINE XReserved a 20 foot truck ahead of time. Day of rental I was not told which truck was mine I was just sent outside and told to match the number on the key chain with the truck number. When I walked up to truck I noticed the gas cap was off and dangling on its side ...I went back inside and notified the employee at the desk I was not offered another truck but told to just take a picture and adjust fuel level while checking out online. The truck was in such a tight spot I had to move the truck out so I could take the pictures to check out before leaving the parking lot. As I started the truck and it ran, the dash display started displaying how many miles until empty and that number continued to drop making me sweat it just to get to the gas station down the road. No matter how many times I removed the gas cap and tightened it I had to see the "Check Fuel Cap" the whole time I drove the truck. Also, when driving the truck, the steering wheel had to be turned to the left so your hands are in a more "7" and "1" position instead of a "10" and "2" position just to go straight down the road which made it very difficult to see how fast I was going and tiresome since I drove almost 100 miles.

JOHN EThe truck was the most dangerous thing I’ve ever driven and I felt extremely unsafe in it the entire time. The first truck was completely blocked in, and by the time I waited for it to be taken out, the gas tank was completely empty because it had been siphoned. I got a new truck and it was so janky I could’ve swore the wheels were going to roll off while driving and worried the whole time that the engine would give out since the check engine light popped on (which I asked about and was told “it’s because our gas always get siphoned, nothing to worry about though”) but it was something I worried about. I’m just thankful to have made it safely. I will not be renting from U-Haul again. It’s not worth risking my life over.

ANGEL GEverything was very easy. I ordered my truck on line. It took about 5 minutes to get my vehicle when I arrived and about the same amount of time when I returned it. I rented a cargo van and it was a new vehicle. Very clean and comfortable.

ALFRED SI made the reservation 2 weeks in advance. I physically came to the location one week in advance and spoke to Noel to confirm the online reservation. ( I did this due to a previous experience.) I made the reservation for 10 am and I arrived at 10:20 and the vehicle was STILL not immediately available. They had to change the battery. Once I got the equipment everything was fine. I gave an average rating because when it comes to timeliness, they are not timely. But the equipment is clean and in working order. Just expect to wait because the equipment is not immediately ready despite the reservation.

One guy looked like they were on drugs. He kept dancing and had his ear phones on and just dancing in the middle of the parking lot. When there were 5 people in line. And I was the last person and had a ride waiting for me. It took me almost an hour just to drop off. Wow. What a customer service huh ??? I will not go back to Uhaul anymore. And I had to return it somewhere far

DENVER SWhen I ordered a uhaul through the app it gave drop off location as optional. So I left it blank since I wasnt sure if I was going to drop it off in location closer to new home. When I turn in truck I got charged double the whole contract fee. Ended up being close to $500. If its not optional dont give that option.

JOSEPH RYou need to get rid of the short skinny brown skin guy working there. My husband was inside waiting to pickup trailer up and I was in our truck waiting . He tapped on my window and said you need to move the truck rudley I told him I would let my husband no. The kid walked off shaking his head. When I called him back he ignored me.. The white guy that helped my husband with trailer hookup was very nice and professional. But the other guy was very rude to me , my husband and other customers.

Nhia XWhere do I start! First of all my reservation was for 2;30 and there was no trucks ready the employees couldn't figure out who's job it was to check in trucks. The truck the gave me rattled and pulled to the right when I stepped on the breaks. At one point one of the girls popped the hood and started working on something, then they handed the truck over to me with the hood up , dirty from the inside and with no gas ..when I asked why they said people steal the gas from the trucks .

BHUPINDER SThe rental and service was fine. The 2 stars is not for the location but for UHAUL themselves. What wasn't OK was reserving online and being told at location that the insurance is mandatory, adding an extra $30 i wasn't planning on spending. The website should give this as an option if it's mandatory. Seems scummy to reserve one price then get told you have to pay for the "extra" that was given as an "option" when reserving.

ANGELINA FMake sure they check if gas before saying it’s at where it’s at they said it was half of tank when we got it it was completely empty yet put 150 dollers for the use for it in town went only 5 to 10 miles over and charge me still alott put down was 391.53 got back 247.12 that’s leaving me 144.41 so in total I spend 294.41 total feels I really got back 97.12 that’s too much I would not go to this place ever again lousy services they don’t even check the vehicle. just the keys and paperwork and send you out the door lousy service
SABRINA SI rented a 20’ U-Haul truck today with a scheduled pickup time of 8:00 AM, and unfortunately the entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. When I arrived, the staff scanned my driver’s license and both of my phones, and then told me their system was down. Instead of proactively resolving the issue, it took them almost one full hour to call customer service for assistance. During this time, I had two workers waiting, whom I am paying $50 per hour, so the delay was costly. When I politely mentioned that I needed the process expedited because of my workers waiting, the manager’s attitude changed noticeably. It appeared that he became intentionally slower. The paperwork had already been printed, the key was sitting on the table, yet he refused to hand it to me and kept walking in and out of the building without any explanation. Eventually, he handed me the key and told me to “go find your car.” When I went outside, the truck was nowhere to be found. I returned inside and told him, and it took him another 10 minutes to come outside. Even he could not locate it at first. After additional delays, he said it was “in the back,” but the truck was blocked by another vehicle. He told me he needed to get the key to move that vehicle, went inside again, and did not return for another 10 minutes. When I went back into the building, he was casually talking to someone else as if the delay did not matter at all. When I finally got to the truck, I discovered it had no gas—the fuel light was on. I reported this, and the manager simply told me to go to a gas station and fill it myself, despite the inconvenience and the time already wasted. Overall, the customer service was extremely poor, disorganized, and borderline negligent. The delays caused me financial loss and significant frustration. I have rented from U-Haul many times and have never experienced anything like this. I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, and that appropriate follow-up or compensation be considered. Thank you.
MEHDI HNever visit this location. They gave me first truck with no fuel. It didn't start. Then they gave me 2nd truck ,that was also totally empty. I put fuel from a gas station, for 45 dollars. When i retuned, they provide me only $ 20 dollar credit. They wasted my one hour at the location, while my labor was waiting at the picking up location for stuff moving. They charged me total $ 100. So , please never go for U HAUL . Hope i could give them a 0 star. i drove the truck for 34 miles , while they charged me for 40 miles. When i contacted with customer care, the lady didn't give me any specific answer, although i have photos for meter reading. very bad service of U HAUL . I will never get services from U HAUL in future.
Jagdev CThe vehicle had almost no gas in it. The low fuel warning light was on. I could have easily stalled without any fuel in it. Ridiculous. There should be a minimum of a quarter tank in any vehicle before returning it to service.
ROBERT LMy UHaul was on Empty, I had to go straight to a gas station, and then go to my destination. I paid at least an extra 50 dollars in miles and left the UHaul with more fuel than I received it in. Not acceptable.
CHRISTIAN LWe ordered a furniture mover, it was not provided. The gas tank was at 3/4 tank when we returned, they said it was 1/3 and charged us $20 for gas.
Christina SHave an associate walk around the truck with the customer to assure the truck is ready for the customer to leave with it. Also assist customer in locating the truck so they don’t have to walk through out the parking lot trying to locate it on their own.
