The first van we tried to rent needed an oil change and was messy. The second one was also messy. And even though we reserved more than a month ago, there was some doubt whether the van would b e available.

reservation unfulfilled and Poor/no communication. Equipment that I reserved days in advance was not available when I arrived, no communication beforehand. The appliance dolly was an integral part of my move and without being informed that wasn't going to be available it unnecessarily cost me a lot of money (renting loading ramps and hiring manpower) and wasted my time. Booo

I reserved a truck on 5/31. My pick up date was two weeks later. We were running a little behind that day and just pushed pick up time back a few hours. I got a call from a regional employee telling me i now needed to drive somewhere else. She told me since I pushed back pick up time it was considered a new reservation. Therefore they no longer had a truck for me. The whole experience was down right awful. We wound up having to rent a bigger truck then we needed. Payed more then we should have and when we got to the U-Haul place there were a ton of trucks there. Overall I'm very unhappy.

I would recommend the location because they were kind and considered... now the truck that's another story...my truck was dirty on the inside and it needed servicing...the alignment was off... the service light was on...I don't understand why this truck was able to leave the station.

i was charged for fuel and picked up with 1/8 tank and returned with 1/4 tank. I expect to be credited for the fuel charge. Employee just said to leave keys with him and he would check me in. I had to call next day to get copy of receipt. Please have someone either email me corrected receipt or call me to rectify fueling

The app kept resetting and having me start over again from the beginning when I was trying to return, I would get one picture taken and it would start beck at "do you wasn to start your return?" I ended up having to go inside but the guy at the counter was very helpful

Truck broke down. Mechanic sent by Roadside Assistance pointed out poor maintenance that lead to breakdown. I give this location an average even with that because the initial loan of equipment went well.

The van I rented had was physically clean but with over 76k on the odmeter, an engine light that was on, huge wide scrape along one side that removed the paint and thin layer of the fiberglass box, there was spray paint tagging on the rear rollup door. I felt like I was in the getto in this thing and it's honestly not a good look for Uhaul. When I have rent from enterprise trucks I have never been given equipment in tos condition.

If it wasn't for the manager I would have gone somewhere else, he was very knowledgeable and cautious, as for the customer service they were sending me 40miles away.

Trailer was filthy upon pickup. They did not have what I had ordered for pads and dolly, so new furniture got scratched during transport. Worst of all, the trailer wasn't inspected before pickup. The harness wires were exposed and the right blinker didn't work.

Had become accustomed to good quick service at U-Haul. This simple trailer rental took longer than expected, and the reservation had been changed (i was unaware) so i did not end up with the trailer i had reserved. It worked "okay" but not optimal.

I was charged for a appliance dolly and 24 blankets when we did not receive a single dolly and only purchased 6 blankets! We notified the staff at the pick up of the discrepancy and was told it would be fixed. We also notified staff at drop off and was told it should have already be fixed but they couldn't tell on their end. Then I notice I'm charged the full amount for an appliance dolly and all blankets on the original credit charge and was never reimbursed. I expect a response from customer service to correct the total charged and request a reimbursement for $12 for the dolly and $15 for the blankets we never received!!

U-Haul should have lower rates for people going across neighboring cities. I simply needed a truck to bring furniture from Glenside to Philadelphia (3 piece living room set to be exact). This simple move easily cost me over $100 and the travel was only 30 minutes away. I think that is ridiculous.

There was only one employee working and he wasn't even from that location. I don't understand how you can have no one working for you. The pick up truck I rented that was GUARANTEED was not available so I had to take a cargo van. Luckily, the van was OK because what we had to move would fit inside, but if it hadn't been, I would have been one really upset customer.

The hand truck and furniture dolly I had reserved with my truck rental (a month in advance), and which were CONFIRMED via an email the day before, were not available when I picked up the truck. This is unacceptable, as these items are essential for moving/loading and were confirmed as being available with my truck rental. The truck itself was fine, but the miscommunication about the accessories was not. When I returned the truck, another customer was experiencing the same issue. Be warned and do not rely on renting these items from UHaul.

I opted for self check-in via the U-Haul website. I created an account, submitting all of my payment and personal information. When it came time to pick up the truck, the U-Haul website required that I turn on location services. I complied, but the website did not recognize my location and, therefore, would not allow me to check-in. I tried it on another device (again, with location services enabled), with the same result: the U-Haul website could not find my location and would not allow me to finish check-in. When I went into the store, their internet was down and they could not check me in. This all resulted in a 45 minute delay in picking up the truck... which was really stressful, because we had someone watching our children while we were picking up the truck. You MUST improve this part of the self check-in or do not offer this service at all. It was incredibly inconvenient and will weigh on my mind when I need to rent another truck when we move to our permanent residence in 3 months.

The employee was efficient in processing the transaction. The vehicle I had was not in the best operating condition. The brakes squealed, there was a burning smell....like when the transmission is going, the drivers door closed after you slammed it shut.

I got the trailer to transport a mower with a 48” deck. The trailer was advertised as 5' x 9'. Unfortunately, that was exaggerated and did not represent the cargo space. The lawnmower did not fit and I returned the trailer an hour later and did not receive a refund for the misleading advertising/description of the trailer size.

Basically, all I had to do was to drop off the truck and return the key to the person in the office. A "hi" would have been nice from him, but he looked busy with no other customer in sight.

The truck leaked, and everything inside got wet. When I returned it, the man at the desk told me that was the second complaint about a leak, but they couldn't find the source earlier so they put it back in service. He said they would deduct $25 from my bill. They did not.
