Jaime HHaving questions which only ask about the locations is very disingenuous. While the people at the pick-up and drop-off locations were great, I do think the experience with U-Haul the company was a total pile of shit. When I arrived to pick up my truck, I was told that the IT system was down across the whole company and trucks could not be rented. This was the case even though I completed all the check-in information ahead of time. I was supposed to get my truck at 10 am but did not get it until 5 pm that day. As a result, I lost a day of loading the truck and had to spend an additional $200 the next day to have people load the truck because I needed to stay with the schedule. U-Haul's Head of IT needs to be fired because the company clearly does not have a contingency plan for IT outages. Most competent businesses will have some paper documents available for situations like this. However, it was not case here. I spent several thousand dollars for this move and experienced absolute incompetence from the leaders of this company. I will have another move occurring in about 6 months and have decided that I will either use Penske or Budget for it. I recommend others do the same unless they have all the time in the world available to move.

John Srequested trailer stated as available on uhaul website, but stated not available according to service rep. Requested trailer was in the yard at time of pickup and appeared to still be in the same position when returning rented equipment. seemed like an upselling tactic.

CHRISTOFER BMade on line reservation upon on arrival there was confusion regarding my specific equipment order Because it was a local rental they did not have a trailer for me then they decided to give me a trailer that was supposed to be a one way only! Yard was full of trailers Young staffers who did not understand customer service wanted to blame U-Haul for saying they had a trailer for local use?! I recommend all renters to use the Loveland mega facility

Elaine CYall advertise $20 for a day but I rented that truck for 2 hours and got charged $100. Yall are misleading with your prices and charge way too much for a mile of driving. I usually got to bat for yall but after this, I might just start recommending home depot instead. At least they dont lie about the pricing and I only pay about $40 bucks for a couple hours of use. The guys who helped us was great but im disappointed that yall charged me $100 for 2 hours. There is no way im suggesting yall to my budget friendly friends.... yall play too much.

Joseph THelped me when I was to pick up the truck in Loveland I got an email 1 hr before I was to pickup my truck. Had to go out to another Uhaul store 10 miles one way instead of 2 miles to get my truck. It would be nice to have gotten a least 1day before so I could get a driver. Out of the 50 years of using Uhaul I have never had a problem like that. I guess I’ll just have to use Penske moving trucks when I move again.

James EThey were very short-staffed. They gave me the keys and said to find the truck in the lot. I did the walk around and tried to get a pic of the starting mileage but the display flashes so it wasn't perfect. I told the guy in the lot and he said "happens to me all the time. Don't worry about it." The tank was 1/2 empty so I had to try to fill it to get to Denver but didn't want to have the hassle of turning it in with 1/2 tank so that's a pain. Did my trip to Denver and back and turned the truck in early. They calculated the miles as too many so I confirmed exactly where we drove to and from and how the mileage was off. The 2 clerks said "we didn't actually track the starting mileage but show what it was when it was transferred so we know it's less than that. So you are right it can't be as many as we show." They said to call the manager to clear it up. I've called in 3 days and he's not been in. I sent an email and they haven't read or responded. I got charged for the original amount and then I got charged the full with the penalty for the wrong mileage! I called and the clerk said they didn't hear from the manager and don't have a way to correct the mileage. What the heck!? We've used uhaul many times over the years but this was a very bad experience. Can someone please call me and correct this!?

Mark HI rented a motorcycle trailer. What I was given was not a motorcycle trailer. By the time this came to light, I didn’t have time to change it. I had a reservation at a different location. When I went there, it was closed. I was told to go to this location and that they had a motorcycle trailer for one way rental. I saw that they had one but was told ‘that one is local only’. When I returned the trailer in TX I got no guidance. I got a call two days later asking when I was going to return it. Fortunately, I had taken pictures. Basically, the whole thing was a fucking shit-show from start to finish.

Lorayne JHad an issue asking a question with person who checked me out. I turned in truck two days early - did not use the miles allotted and was under on the gas level. I asked if there was any way to reward me for giving you back the truck early - clean and with fewer used miles while doing you a favor and pulling a trailer nearly my entire trip. He just said no and then was strangely rude the remainder of the checkout process. He made me uncomfortable.

Samuel KWhoever checks people in needs to inform them, they need to look for a text in order to take photographs of the Uhaul vehicle. How’s the paperwork advising anything does not arrive until after you get the vehicle. People were at the stores need to be trained better. More helpful and attentive to knowing how things work.

The person who was running the store never actually booked my reservation over the phone but luckily U-Haul sends reminder texts if there hasn’t been reservations booked to see if you’re still interested. Luckily I called the number and was able to still book my confirmation at the same time. I was really impressed that they had same day availability and even had an estimation for me based on the locations I had added online. Keegan was who helped me and I like a bit of humor so it was fun to interact with him at initial arrival and also dropping the vehicle off an hour or so later.
