This was the first time I've seen this location with enough staff to support the number of customers. In the past 2 years I've only seen 1 guy working and it would take 45+ minutes to get the rental even with pre-check in.David J.

I want to start out by saying this was not this particular store's fault - uHaul in general and how I was treated. I made my reservation two months ahead of time. Two days before the move, I am informed the closest truck is over 60 miles away.. The car hauler was located elsewhere as well. Every support person transferred me off to the next department, and spoke to me like I was an idiot. I was told I was going to be given an extra day for the trouble, but I returned the truck and car hauler yesterday and now have more charges I'm going to have to fight. Look, moving is stressful, the least a service rep could do is make a simple change or help out when no one is around on a Sunday. I'll stick to another moving company from now on...Steven W.

The web site check in and personnel at the location were excellent. I rented a car hauler trailer, to tow a 2016 Jeep Renegade. One of the straps holding the 2 front wheels of the Jeep to the trailer was found to be broken off and too short. This was a major tie down. I happened to have a strap with me and used it to tie that wheel down. It really needs to be replaced and checked before renting it.Douglas S.

Just one thing: After signing up for the $10 insurance coverage online, I decided to decline it when checking in in-person; it was still included on my final bill. On the plus side: 1) this location allowed me flexibility in my arrival time to connect with my truck rental and 2) the 2021 pick-up was wonderful, easy to drive and generous size, and 3) the desk personnel were efficient and friendly.Susan B.

The trailer was super dirty and smelled like cigarettes very badly! I wanted the clean trailer right next to this one but the guy said he couldnt do that so I left with the dirty one. Got home and about 6 hours later openned it up to find that it smelled very badly of cigarettes! Horrible! So then I had to drive all the way back to swap it out. One customer service guy was talking with another customer for a long time and said he wouldnt swap it out for me but thankfully the guy that did help me swapped it out for me. That guy was great! Better Customer Service. Staff member told me no trailer was available for an out of town drop off when in fact it was but the staff member didn't want to fix a wiring issue. After I made a reservation online a different staff member rented me a trailer and fixed the light issue.Debbie O.

Auto Transport return was simple and I was satisfied with it. Jeremiah serviced that return and he was fine. The Auto Transport return occurred first, and then we unloaded the Moving Van the next day and returned it on 4/16/2021, a day ahead of the agreed upon 6 day contract (5 day standard rental plus a sixth day allowed by original contract. (i.e. 4/17/2021. When I got the email contract invoice it said I owed an additional $80 + (for an extra day at $40 and a cleaning fee of $25 (I returned it clean), plus flat tax of $12.00 and then sales tax on top of that. Very dissatisfied with the 1 hour wait time to get the van returned. I was not offered a paper receipt at the time of return, but was told there would be no further charges. I will issue a complaint to the billing department.ROBERT W.

The Huntington Hills location and service was great, but the issue is that I reserved a van for 9am at another location (No Limit Services) and got a call saying that it wouldn't be available until 11am. This was frustrating but I had other things I could do, so no big deal. I then got a call when I was on my way saying that the van wouldn't be ready until 12pm. This is where it started to get really frustrating. I then showed up to the Uhaul location at No Limit Services and they still didn't have a van. They were able to find me one at Huntington Hills for 12:30pm but it was a 20 minute drive away from where I was. I'm not sure I'll use Uhaul again since I reserved a van for 9am and wasn't able to actually pick it up until almost 1pm, all completely Uhaul's fault. Luckily this time I didn't have a huge time constraint on when it had to be picked up, but if I ever need something at a certain time, I won't trust Uhaul to be able to come through on having my reserved vehicle at the guaranteed time.Tyler M.

Gas tank was empty at pickup. That means I had to put gas in the vehicle before doing anything with it, and that I overfilled the tank by half because I didn't know HOW much gas to put in it; also didn't know how much gas I needed for my trip. Interior had not been cleaned from the previous rental, litter was scattered across the floor mats. I expected better from U-Haul.HAROLD J.

The pick up of the containers went smoothly, although I had read that we could put used boxes and wrapping paper in the pods for those who might need those for their moves. I was told by the driver that she was told that they will bill me if I add "garbage" to the pods. As I was only trying to be kind to someone else who may be moving, that was disturbing.Nina F.

As a very frequent uhaul trailer renter, same advice I have been giving. Your employees/people are great, but the â€œexpress check-inâ€ is a joke. I waited before I finally could get to the counter, then I did most of the same stuff I did on-line again in person (gave credit card, told them what I wanted, signed, accepted insurance). I don't understand why uhaul can't make this faster. I dread the wasted time whenever I need to rent a uhaul.Michael K.

Place was understaffed and the staff that was there was clearly overwhelmed. They did the best they could considering the situation. I'd find it hard to recommend someone else go there due to this. I even asked if they where hiring part time and they said they were fully staffed. This is ridiculous and greedy on the owners part. I mean 1 person checking people in and out while theres like 5 other people waiting is nothing but greed and incompetence on owners and management. If I ever need to rent a trailer again I'll go somewhere else and not this location again. I want to be clear this is not the fault of the poor workers on site they did the best they could.William C.

The staff here is wonderful and I love that this facility is large and had the equipment I was interested in. My comments overall (since I've rented ~8x times w/ uhaul) 1) The check-in process is painful. If I use express check-in on the app, I don't understand why I can't just show up, show/scan my ID, and get my trailer 2) I ran into problems so couldn't return equipment on time. I wish the app would allow me a quick way to extend my rental (instead, I had to call and the ~4x times I've called there is always a huge wait. Wish there was a national number that didn't have long wait times Overall, people are great but the overhead of renting a uhaul has a lot to be desired. Express check-in on the app is a joke as I basically have to go through all the same steps when I physically show up at uhaul. If I order Qdoba on the app, I just go to the store and pick up my meal. I don't have to wait in line, tell them what I want, show all my payment and cards. I simply walk in and pick up my food.MICHAEL K.
