Teach your employees to properly put chains on vehicle. (Just because it's cold outside doesn't mean you don't need to twist up the chain! The chain should never drag along the ground!) As a result to the half-job chain attachment, one chain fell off as I drove over railroad tracks. That could have been dangerous if I didn't hear the chain running along the ground. Also the tailgate on the trailer I rented today didn't have any safety chains attached. Therefore it just comes crashing to the ground if a person is unaware that the safety chain isn't hooked up. Also the person that helped me "check in" was very unprofessional and didn't care about the problems I had renting a U-Haul trailer.CHARLES G.

Couldn't figure out how to rent me the trailer I wanted so I had to upgrade. Little man with beard had an attitude. Other than that just swell. By the way tried to get through on your customer service line and got hung up on .Mark C.
Clarify the after hours drop off. I rushed the day to return the trailer by 1900 rather than pay the $20 convenience fee for after hours drop off. Is the fee for after. hours drop off or only to have a U-Haul employee verify things? (Either way it seems excessive when I paid for an entire day's rental.)Mark L.

Even though I booked the truck ahead of time I had to warm the truck up, clean the snow off the windshield, hood and back step and had to remove the Uhaul sign out of the windshield. The windshield was cracked and the dolly was not in the back of the truck. I expect the truck to be prepared and ready to go when I arrive, especially when I gave them extra time as I showed up late.James V.

A through inspection of the service should be done before handing the keys back to the customer. Two weeks after our new hitch service we noticed the spare tire had fallen and was hanging 6 inches after a drive. Last week I noticed my rear right fender on my Subaru' Ascent had popped out. After I pushed it back in it continues to separate. I'm concerned about the integrity of the fender now has been compromised. My ascent is only a year old.Silvia K.

Our U-Haul experience was excellent. We rented a small truck for 3 days but finished moving our belongings from one storage unit to a smaller one in 2 days. The truck was clean and in tip-top operating condition. We would recommend this company for your moving needs.john B.

The vehicle said it was full, it was not really full. I drove about 14 miles but it took 2.9 gallons to fill it. That seems a bit off. I realize 100% this is not your team's fault but the prior customer. Still wanted to share the situation. Thanks!Todd M.

Great support and service, super equipment. Rented a 20 foot Ford Truck for a pretty hard move. This truck has many advanced features, great power and transmission, actually downshifts going downhill! Staffing seems to be up again, so no waiting today. These are the real pros in truck rental. Apparently this location has two locations, the retail with the trucks and the Ubox warehouse. Never once was it communicated to me that the UBoxes we're at the warehouse location on the complete opposite side of town, a significant drive away. The address didn't show up in any communications and when they confirmed with me over the phone, the gentleman never mentioned that they would be at the other location. While the staff was friendly, I'm giving a low ranking because of the multiple opportunities of missed communication about the location of my UBoxes. Also, when I went to the location on College, the manager saw me a few times and never came up to ask what I needed. I finally approached him after a time, about 10 minutes, of looking around for another employee. Tyler at the Ubox warehouse in Fort Collins was so great to work with. He was kind, courteous, understanding and professional.Melanie C.

My U-Haul truck broke down and I had waited two hours for their roadside assistance t show up. Just to tell me the truck had to be towed. Then Another 3 hours for the tow truck. It was towed 50 miles away to the dealership loaded with my things. Only for the dealership to be closed. So I had already lost a whole day dealing with this. When I rented the truck for work and had a very tight schedule to meet. The next morning I go to the dealership and they give me a new truck and say I have to load all of my things into the new truck by myself. So after I moved everything once again by myself I finally get on with my work. The manager stated he would refund the whole amount of the truck and not to worry about any fees or charges for this new truck. Wel once I returned the truck I was charged for it. And now William is telling me there is nothing he can do and that he never said that. I want my money back and I want uhaul to stand behind what they tel their customers.Andrew W.
The UHAUL BOX experience has been absolutely AWESOME! Given our low expectations of customer service in the past, UHAUL exceeded all our expectations! We had about 50 boxes of various sizes to move from Colorado to Las Angeles to our nephew and the cost to use conventional movers was prohibitive. UBOX was the perfect solution for us. We cannot give enough p accolades regarding the entire process from start to completion! Everyone of the UHHAUL contacts and employees did a superb job ! The delivery of the box to our home in Colorado was perfect,and the timing was great as well, thank you Ella. The communication between us and the drivers was excellent and our UHAUL moving experience has been extraordinary ! We could not be more pleased with the service! Neither of the young boys at that location knew how to answer basic questions. I was charged twice for the installation and told I was wrong about it. They didn't give me a call when they were finished with my vehicle and when I went to pick it up I waited in the store for 10 minutes before having to wander around outside to find someone to help me. When I asked if I could get my car the kid replied, "How much is it worth to you??â€. I couldn't have been in a less joking mood after such garbage service.mike S.

I was told I may have to wait for an hour, maybe two after my appointment time to have the work completed. It took them that long just to get my vehicle in the shop, I was waiting there for 5.5 hours. You should not offer service while you wait if you cant live up to a reasonable ETA. I would have arranged a drop off if I had known. I'm not particularly upset with the employees, though their professionalism was surprisingly bad. For the amount of time I waited I would have rather spend $1,000.00 somewhere else.Sam A.

The app would not let me return the uhaul truck to the same location, it put our return location in Longmont CO, which is not even close to where we needed to drop off. Our account was then charged extra for not dropping off at the right location. This is not acceptable or convenient at all.Rob C.

There was no employee inside, while me and another customer waited 5-10 minutes to be helped. When I was helped, I wasn't given the dolleys I ordered so my husband had to go back for them. When he got there they said they didn't have them, then found only one. They gave us a different piece of equipment we didn't need which did not help us moving what we were moving. I didn't realize gas was below half a tank until I had driven off. I paid $60 in gas (16 gallons) to drive the truck about 20 miles (maybe 3 gallons of gas). I'm a bit frustrated I had to pay for the last person's gas because they didn't return the truck full.Kevin C.

My drop off location listed on my contract refused to accept the truck, they said their lot was full. I was forced to drive to a different town who said there would be a drop fee. After much arguing I was able to leave the truck without a fee. I was returning two days early on a one way from out of state trip. Very poor customer service, the worst experience ever, extremly high prices. Miserable truck (15 foot) very uncomfortable for a cross country long distance move.Terri H.
The pickup process was MUCH better than in the past... great experience this time. No double entry of information from the web etc. as I have had to do in the past. The drop off process... I waited 10 minutes for someone to come out and finally just completed the drop off online by myself. Not sure what that was about but having the online DIY drop off saved the experience, otherwise I would have been upset about waiting so long. I was never even acknowledged even though there were employees on site and walking around.Matthew S.

I rented online for a pick up of noon. We arrived a few minutes after noon. The van that we rented was not ready to go as it was in line to be cleaned. It took over 20 minutes to get this done and the person cleaning knew we were waiting for it. That took almost 30 minutes of our rental. I'm not sure if the returned vehicles can be delayed until they're marked as ready to go?Amanda J.
