Well-maintained, but could have been cleaner.
Carmen LCustomer service was poor and lacking, and equipment wasn’t maintained properly. Chains were falling apart and staff made it clear they didn’t want to be there.

christene mCustomer service definitely needs to be trained and improved , the gentleman upon return of truck ona Sunday PM around 03:00 was not friendly at all he barely even spoke a word honestly thought he didn’t speak . Understand they are busy however need to deliver customer service .

Deborah WWe had no interaction with anyone but dropping off the truck at night was so easy. Key drop off box makes it conveniently easy. The APP was an issue though. Would not load pictures or do anything. Other than that everything was perfect and smooth drop off.
Birdie CThe manager at this location, whose name I believe is Andrew, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He became angry and told me that I needed to drive the truck inside the U-Haul premises. I explained to him that when I originally picked up the truck, it was parked on the sidewalk, and no one instructed me or informed me that I needed to return it to a specific location. I would have had no problem driving the truck inside if I had been told this when I picked it up. My concern is that customers should be properly informed about the return process instead of being confronted or spoken to angrily afterward.

MICHAEL HThe truck was very dirty, could not see out of the windshield. Inside cab was the dirty and fast wiped only. Had to run the truck through car wash to be able to see and drive!
Gilbert PI rented a tow dolly for four hours but only needed it for about two. I returned it shortly after I was finished, well before the end of my rental period. The following day, I received a call saying the tow dolly had not been returned. I explained that I had returned it the previous day. The employee told me there was no record of the return. Shortly after our conversation, I received my receipt, which suggests the return may not have been processed until after the called. This experience was frustrating and felt unprofessional. I would appreciate better procedures for checking in returned equipment and more accurate recordkeeping to prevent customers from being contacted unnecessarily.

Kheng VThis entire experience was horrible. My order was transferred to a new location not near my house. On top of that, I ordered 3 dolly’s just to be told the evening before pickup they had none available. Then the worker who signed out the truck to me did not change the gas amount after the other co-worker told him the “TT” truck didn’t even have enough gas to make it to the gas station. They put a little gas in it and promised they would change it in the system because they put it was 3/4 full. Upon return to Oceanside they said it wasn’t done. Moving is already stressful. Glad I took of the guy taking the fuel to the truck. His coworker even said he needed to change it and he never did.
