I didn’t know if I needed a 26’ or a 20’ and expected to see both and choose when I got there. The only truck there was 26’ and too big for me to feel comfortable driving it. I was forced to wait until the next day for a 20’. After this initial experience, everyone was wonderful. Everyone from the local location to phone support worked hard to get me a truck. I ended up having too much and needed a second truck to move some things to a storage location and then returned it. The local staff are amazing and have truly been very kind and helpful. Their help has made the stress of moving a little easier.

The teller told me that no refund possible for living the tank more than expexted.! Did they want me to take the gas out? It is waist of money and a full tank should be provided !!

The truck smelled like cigaret it was really awful smell and it was horrible having to drive it like that. I would have gone back but I was in a crunch time and I didnt have time to wait for another one.

There were food wrappers and trash inside the van when we got it home and opened the tailgate door and started to pack.

Had to wait one hour for the truck. When truck arrived it received a cursory inspection and only added 1 qt of oil. Only 1/4 tank of gas. Horrible experience!

Nothing! Everything went great once my issue was solved. You need to have the actual U-Haul locations pop up first as a choice verses 3rd parties. Your 3rd parties are not reliable!

Fairelynn was super friendly and helpful. There was nothing she needed to improve. However, my reservation was originally with European Auto Werke on Hinds Avenue. The day before, I was notified they didn't have a cargo van, and my reservation was transferred to CLS Automotive and Tire on Lankershim. That wasn't a problem because I wascgiven advance notice. But when I showed up at CLS, I was told the person wouldn't show until 830 even though my reservation was for 800. That was a problem because I was on a schedule. I called customer service,, was connected to the wrong area, was placed on hold for an extended oeriod, and was finally sent to Fairelynn. So though I'd return to Fairelynn, I won't return to either of the two dumps. They make U-Haul look really bad.

They were great as usual. However they didn't have my two dollies in the back of the truck when I went to pick it up at 6:00 a.m. I had to go back in the middle of work. They only gave me one that was available. But they're good people

The photo is obnoxious and excessive. Why even give my license at that point???? I will look for other moving options the next time I need to move something. Not a single employee could answer if my biometric data is saved. The information on this is extremely difficult to find. F+ U-Haul

The person (Uhual signature is Erick V) who provide the service is great and nice. He friendly helped me to rent an appliance dolly and pad in the early morning of Saturday, even helped me double check whether my vehicle can load the dolly or not. I rented a dolly and a pad for 2.5 hours, and this appliance dolly was so useful. I successfully deliver a refrigerator within 2 hours. That person (Erick V) also helped me double check my account, and revised my order according to the real needs. I do not have any questions. I sincerely appreciate his hard work.

The fuel gauge is not working properly! Literally, just a mile after I picked up the truck, the fuel level dropped to zero, and the truck stalled on the highway! I had to run to the gas station for a gas can, and I spent $23 on it! I have a photo showing the fuel level and mileage as proof.

I tried to rent a truck from the Van Nuys location, which was confirmed. When I got there, I was told the truck had not been returned. The CSR apologised and said he would try to find a location that had one. He found one in North Hollywood. He said again how sorry he was and said he would give a $50.00 refund for the inconvenience. I was able to rent the truck in North Hollywood. Still waiting on the refund?

Inside truck cab was dirty, smelled, and had sticky dried residue on floor. The box truck bed floor was also covered in sticky dried residue on floor. The AC stopped working one hour into our 6 hour rental when southern California temp was 99 degrees. Horrible experience with this rental.
