She told me that if I brought it back with the tank the same level it was when I rented it I would get a discount. I put 15 dollars in it, mind you, I only used it for 8 miles!! She then told me that it needed to be a quarter tank full. So basically I needed to put in more gas than it was given to me with which ultimately is more than the â€œdiscountâ€ anyways so I ended up putting gas in PLUS having to pay for it not being a quarter tank. So after not being transparent she had the nerve to be rude and dismissive about it. This is the second bad experience with uhaul, last time I was charged for a dolly which they never gave me and when I emailed about it it was completely ignored. Just like this will be. Pickup was fine and drop off was quick but they failed to properly check me out and then call asking where the trailer is. Had to waste 45 minutes explaining after a long hold with the branch and then a manager that it was already turned in. Trailer cost me 21 bucks but the wasted time with this was annoying and at a inconvenient since i was in mexico that morning. Im outraged about it.Patrick A.
We picked up the vehicle, drove twenty miles to the store to pickup the product. There was a padalock on the box truck. We called customer service. Waited 30 minutes to talk to someone, but then for him to talk to the person at our uhaul site took another 20 minutes to get the combination of the lock! Totally unacceptable! I told them I wouldn't pay. We came to an agreement for 20 dollars of the price. I will never use uhaul again! That many minutes to talk to a person is just unacceptable. I predict uhaul will be out of business within a year, because of your present 'business' practices!RANDALL J.

The truck was ready as promised. Delivered clean and in good running order. It would have been nice if it had a USB port. U-Haul should consider updating its fleet to be more competitive with Ryder.Adam L.
Staff was very knowledgeable about the equipment and very welcoming. I guess to improve the experience for the next customer, let them know that if they drop off after hours to do the online drop off if they have a smart phone. Change U-Haul policy. I was running late to pick up my truck. I spoke to the customer service person to let him know that i was on my way, but he still told me was going to release the truck. I sent my daughter over to pick up the truck and he still told her that he released the truck and canceled the reservation. Finally, she convinced him to give her the truck. Unbelievable.ZACHARY S.

I appreciate that the location was convenient and the employees were helpful. Uhaul was very flexible on my rental as I rented for 1 day and ended up needing the truck fir 3 days. I was able to easily extend how long I had it.Lyra R.

I didn't appreciate being charged $6 for being overly mileage allotment. I reserved the truck based on proximity to the airport, not proximity to my 1st stop, which added a few extra miles that I was unaware ofAnthony C.

There was a man inside the store who was not wearing a mask. Masks are mandated and for the safety of your customers, there should be signage stating that masks are required. His presence in the store made me stressed and worried about how many ppl at uhaul had been disregarding covid safety standards.HEATHER R.

The trucks are obviously not locked or kept secure. It was apparent that people are able to get into them, especially the holds in the back, and do whatever they want. Our first truck had several beer cans, cigarettes, and Chinese takeout box full of urine in it. The second truck was cleaner, but still smelled of human waste. We weren't charged for some of our reserved items to make up for the state of the first truck, but it seems to me that the trucks should be kept in better condition, cleaned more often, and kept locked overnight so that people can't get into them.GILBERTO R.

My issue was not so much with the location, but with the process. I was forced to put down a $100 deposit because your system wouldn't take my debit card, a Bank of America visa debit card, because it thought it was a prepaid card or something. That was super annoying.Christian G.

There were no space on the parking lot , although it's big enough. Customers have to be advised not park the trucks in middle of the lot in the way that other customers would not have a room for parking(in other words people need to be reminded to consider other people)Mihail F.

My rental was changed to a different location, but I didn't mind that since it was still close by. I did, however, rent 2 furniture dollies and no one informed me that there weren't any available at this location until I arrived to pickup the rental. My only option at that point was to purchase the dollies in store, spending more money than I was planning. It would have been nice to be informed ahead of time that these dollies were not available.Kara J.
There were no dollies of any kind available, even though I had requested one with my reservation. You're literally a moving and shipping company; how do you run out of such an essential item? It's literally one of the dumbest things I have ever heard in my entire life. I had to move my refrigerator down a flight of stairs and not having access to a dolly made it exceedingly difficult. Also, my reservation was for four hours, but someone called me before my four hours were up, literally as I was at the gas station on my way back, to ask where I was. Super annoying. The representative who checked me in told me I could return the truck after closing time, which would have been 7:30, yet he put my in-time as 7:00.Jesse D.

I was appalled at the overall customer service of U-Haul via phone. It was a terrible experience. I was quoted one price when I made the initial reservation and it almost doubled when I did the pick up. Also, I received a call a week before to notify me of my pick up location. I was told my pick up location was in Canada! I was supposed to have the pick up in Southern California in the LA area, and they gave me a pick up in Canada! When I called to resolve the information, I kept getting all these runaround's and given completely different pricing. I followed up several days later and I was told my reservation was going to be for a week. It was made for three days. They told me the week was the same price. When I went to go pick up the truck they told me it was indeed only three days. I was repeatedly misinformed! Having to pay double also made things difficult since I had budgeted for the lower amount. I expected more from your company. It was the phone personnel at not at the staff at pick up location that had the problems. The was not a rating for company overall, so that is why the pick up location is receiving a Poor rating.corey S.

The employee at this facility marked the gas tank incorrectly and because of it, I ended up paying an additional $20 that I shouldn't have been charged for. Very frustrating and seemed deliberately done by the employee because she should know how to read the gas tank if she deals with reading it multiple times a day.Carlos C.
