Outstanding service. Was completed in less than 5 minutes and had receipt emailed to me. This same location booked my reservation (on Saturday) for pick-up in another state, making it extremely convenient.

I was very impressed with the young man who helped me. He had to deal with an irate online only customer who obviously didn't understand the system and was just plain rude. I give him props for his patience with the customer. I've been upset with customer service people before, but there is no reason to be rude. My experience was excellent!

I rented a trailer to haul construction debris to my local landfill. When I got the trailer loaded had pulled out of the customer's driveway I realize one of the tires on the trailer was flat. I am mediately called your customer service hotline. They called back and said that the roadside assistance company would be there within 75 minutes. After waiting 95 minutes I needed to get back to work and took the trailer to the dump anyway. When your company called back I explained exactly what happened and documented all The Times. I returned the trailer without incident and explained to the person at the store what happened. I not only lost 3 hours of work time but I also had to pay both of my helpers for that time. I honestly think the best thing your company could have done was reimbursed me the $32 it cost to rent the trailer for the inconvenience caused. I hope your company decides to do the right thing.

Customer service provided by a female (name?) was horrible. No eye contact. No guidance. Attitude was as if I was bothering her. How can she be representing a business. The cargo van was not clean on the inside or outside. Empty water bottles were found up front.

The check in process was very fast and painless which I really appreciated. I had driven over 900 miles in a couple of days and was really tired so it was nice to get the truck/trailer back quickly so I could get home, shower and get to bed. Thanks very much!

The trailer made a strange noise when we left with it. The store said it was fine. Brought it back later because the noise and smell of the trailer was a concern. The employees decided it was a bad tire and told us to call road side service. When we refused, they called. Took 5 hours to repair and the tire was replaced as it was the wrong size for the trailer and it was rubbing on the body of the trailer. Easily could have caught fire. We wasted an entire day that we should have been traveling for our move

It was fast and easy. The online app is not as accurate I had a reservation for 9:30 NOV 2 2020. I was ready to go and then I received a phone call that they didn't have a trailer at this location. It did back me up alot. But atleast im happy that the guy in Chatsworth found me one right away or was directed to the nearest location.. over all im very happy with uhaul

I was supposed to pick up the truck at 12 noon, it was not ready till 2:30 p.m. The next day I was called 3 times from Uhaul asking when am I returning the truck? I had the truck for 26 hrs was charged for 2 days. If I would have been able to pick the truck up at 12 noon as promised, uhaul cause the delay in pick up and I was charged an extra day.

The customer service was subpar. The truck was not ready and cleaned out before I picked it up so we had to wait. When I brought the truck back, the guy that took the keys was rude. Not a good experience.

I experienced great service from this location. Additionally, I had to purchase a couple of items and I felt that items were very fairly priced. I will definitely go back to this location if the need arises.

Management needs to train their associates quarterly. Example, their current employee Nicholas has no patience or customer service rapport. He's a complacent, lazy, and yells at customers until i had straighten his attitude out in front of customers. He did not appreciate it, but his attitude needed a verbal adjustment. I would recommend staff to work with their associates for future success.

I ordered online and requested a pick up location in Moorpark. The order was booked and paid. In a confirmation text message I noticed that the pick up location had changed to an address in Simi Valley. I called to question and was told in fact that the pickup was changed. Really? I my opinion, we had an agreement. If the terms are to change U-Haul should have taken the initiative to contact me. Or better yet. Deliver my product to the location we agreed to.

I made my reservation and checked in on the App. When I arrived for the key, I waited an hour in a long line. I wish there was a separate line to quickly get the key and leave.

I reserved a 10 foot truck and they gave me a 15 foot. Normally this would not be a problem but space where I was taking it was limited. I was not happy with the price gouging of fuel per mile going up on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from $.85 to $1.15. That is ridiculous.

They send us off in a uhaul going across the country with a bald tire and wires coming out of it... my husband and son could've been killed. I am not happy at all!!!

I arrived without a reservation on a Sunday early afternoon. Most of the vehicles were out, but I was lucky, they had what I wanted. The staffer was friendly, efficient and courteous. The same with a different staffer when I returned the vehicle later that same day. I have rented from this location numerous times, and the story is always the same. Nice folks with trucks that I need.

Needed to change the drop-off location, but wasn't allowed to. Trailer tire had a crack in the sidewall and looked very old. Did not feel safe towing the trailer.

The reservations were easy and pick up went smooth. But the bed of the truck was dirty. We had to wash it out before we could use it. There is dirt and tiny rocks you can see through the holes in bed liner that makes a muddy mess even though we tried to wash it out. It would not be hard to clean out with a pressure hose. Then the return was very time consuming. There were four people ahead of me so I decided to return online. I had pictures but there wasn't a way to upload them. I had to retake all pictures so I had to go back and forth to take pictures. If they indicate online all the pictures they need and have a way to upload from gallery, then the drop off would be faster. This is the only U-Haul I have ever had to take so many pictures for a return.

Did not have my appliance dolly that I had reserved 10 days prior. Had to spend the next day finding one would transport my new refrigerator. I wasted my time with an online prior reservation to show up and only get a trailer and no dolly. System needs work.

The mobile pick up did not work. A lot of the leg work could have been done prior to arriving at the location. But in the mobile pick up it requires you to be at the location to provide such things as a head shot, pictures of your ID, contacts, etc. Stuff that I could have saved a lot of time doing before arriving. Which ended up not working either way..i needed to go inside to do it the normal way.

Reserved equipment by phone the day before and it was there and ready when I came in. Checkout and return were simple and easy. I rented a trailer for a local move and it went so much easier than if I had just used my van...... thankyou so much.

UHaul needs improve the smart phone after hours pickup system. It kept saying my time was expired and would not give me enough time to log in confirmation code after I received it. Had to wait until 11:30 AM the next day to get truck after I had had it reserved for 7PM the ptrvious evening.

Your website sucks... Couldn't change pickup time so called your 800 number and waited 20 minutes. Great service once I actually talked to someone but your website should be able to handle something so simple

Unfortunately, like with many other locations, availability was very limited in spite of web site showing that that specific size is available, when you get to the location, not available. So, we had to rent a van, which was not convenient for us since there was no ramp, but we used it. Car was very clean, we also rented blankets, very clean as well.

The wiper blades on the truck were worn out and not useful. As we encountered rain, we had to look for a U-Haul location on the way that could replace them necessitating extra mileage. After loading the truck we had to drive 26 miles one way for a total of 52 paid miles to pick up the tow dolly. The quote for the tow dolly was approximately $250, but I was charged $463.32 and had to drive an extra 52 miles to pick it up. When I arrived to at my destination, the truck was wet inside, furniture and boxes wet. The boxes in Mom's Attic were soaked so it was difficult to unload them.

General manager and staff were very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, respectful. Purchasing items for mine went quickly, as did process fir copy rental of truck. Return was just a but delayed but this had nothing to do with staff, just a lot of people making rental truck returns at the same time. I was extremely pleased!

Your auto transport trailers have NO WINCH to pull non op cars up onto the trailer 🤷🏼‍♂️. This is strange as most situations requiring a trailer is due to the car being non op. At the very least have a winch option for those of us who drive our cars when their not broken down & wouldn't need a trailer then. Thanks

Reservation said pick up at 11, got there front office guy was rude said we were supposed to pick up at 8am and we had to have it back by 2:30 because someone else had reserved it a month ago. Also reserved a utility dolly and they didn't have one for us so we couldn't even move our fridge. Waste of money since we couldn't move what we had to.

The location isn't the issue. It's your online ordering system that sucks. You need to list what is unavailable online instead of allowing people to make endless reservations and get the runaround by your representative team. On top of that we had to drive to many different locations just to pick up what we need only to find out someone else had taken our reservation. Update your system and practices. Moving is stressful enough and U-Haul has made it worse.

Absolute worst experience with Manager Mark Torrez of Simi Valley U-haul. Came in looking for closed in trailer to transport items to our wedding. We were denied trailer and sent to van nuys later to call uhaul directly and make a reservation for exactly what we were looking for. She told us they had one available and was unsure why he denied us our rental. We then returned with our contract from uhaul.com and magically we are assisted but of course without any apology or explanation. This was days before our wedding day don't you think we had better things to do than drive all around looking for a trailer that was there the whole time. Completely unacceptable.

Truck not cleaned. Returned truck on time but was charged for 2 extra days. Place too crowded to pull in and line to talk to sometime. Told to drop keys in box. Can't reach anyone on the phone. When I did they said it was computer problem. Waiting for credit.

Prices are too high for local transport. I paid almost $150 to drive 5 pieces of furniture 24 miles. Lots of trucks on site,, if your prices were lower more people would rent them and making you $$ instead they were parked collecting dust.

I reserved my trailer and did check in online to pickup at 8am. I showed up at 8 am and was driving away at 8:10 am. Super easy! Super convenient! I'm very pleased with their service!

Rude, lazy and not willing to work staff. They all had their cars blocking my storage unit. I had to ask them for access, when not one but 3 employees leisurely took their time moving their car show vehicles as I waited a few minutes. The facility is dirty and it would make sense with 3 ppl who just take their time doing almost nothing. There was a mixup by uhaul of my pickup location and the staff were not helpful. Which all coincided with the customer service number who basically did the same thing and pushed me off to someone else to someone else. What a waste of time having me drive all over town and not be helpful. Horrible experience. If I wasn’t moving and needed your services that day I would have gone elsewhere. From this point forward you lost a customer. Thanks for wasting my time. Good to see staff being paid to do absolutely zero work.
