The guy that helped me get the trailer is not friendly and it's odd that u-haul would want someone like him as the face of u-haul as the customer's first impression. He came across like a kid in high school that thinks he's cool and rather cocky. The other guys were nice and friendly.

The man that helped me two different couldn't manage to crack a smile, however he did get a little nicer after he ran my credit card for $3.000. The windshield and side windows were filthy as well as the front cab. I was taking a cross country trip and cleaned it myself. I'm sure you can answer your own question from the complaint.

The rental truck was the worst truck I have rented from UHaul for all my various moves over the years. The truck's transmission had an issue and the brakes were super sensitive.

Employee was not familiar with the equipment. They "didn't know" if a queen mattress would fit in the truck I rented online (that said would fit a queen). One person asked if there was a box spring, too. Ninety five percent of people that are moving a queen mattress are also moving the box spring. "I don't use the trucks, so I'm not sure." I'm pretty sure I got a truck too large because the employees could not suggest what was needed. I was also told I could not park (4 hours) on the premises, but the lot was huge...not a fan of the customer service.

Better idea what too do . I was told to go find someone to check in my Truck. Really? Better customer acknowledgment. I'm huge on CSI in the company I run. Place was backwards. Better training in math charged me 67 $ for something I proved them wrong on. They did give me my money back !!

Hi, I just sent in an email to the General Manager of this location, but I am putting what I said in the email here too. Last Saturday, I rented a 15” truck for moving. The Thursday before that, I placed a reservation for a 20” truck. I got an email confirmation that the 20” truck would be ready at the Simi location. I even got a call from the general manager so we could setup a time to pickup the truck. At no time did I get any info that the 20” truck was not available. When I came in on Saturday to pickup the truck, I was told by Lucas that they did not have a 20” truck and that they only had a 15”. I told him that I reserved the 20” and I showed him the confirmation email (see attached confirmation email I got). He said he was sorry and that the 15” was the best he could do. I told him that if that was all they had, then I guess I would have to take it, since I was moving the next day. I told him I would just need the $50 off, since on U-Haul it says that "you get the equipment, location and pick up time as agreed or we give you $50.” When I told him this, he said that that did not apply to my order. I argued with him for about 10 minutes, telling him that I placed the reservation for the 20” truck, at this location and at this time and the equipment was not there, so, according to the guarantee, I would get the $50 off. He pretty much said “no, I can’t do that” and he gave me a discount on the milage, which would not cover the $50 off. I eventually was forced to accept the 15” truck, since I just couldn’t win with the “guarantee” and I was moving so I didn’t really have a choice not to take whatever truck they had. Attached to this email is a copy of my U-Haul order I placed as well as the equipment contract. I still expect a $50 refund for this. When I picked up the vehicle it was so dirty. The man inside Brandon was so rude to customers I almost walked out but was in a bind. The miles on the paperwork were different then what the vehicles odometer was. The first day I rented the truck from a location. I reserved on line and went to the location and there was no uhaul at 3275 Thousand Oaks Blvd then I received a message later it was not available. So disappointed that I'm not sure if I would use uhaul again. They charged me for 45 miles and it was actually 28 miles.

We were rented a truck with 150000 miles on it for our 850 mile move! I was told it would be a newer truck which is what is provided on long distance trips.... Never thinking to check the mileage before loading it and leaving we then saw the mileage!! 12 hours into our 16 hour drive the truck began to overheat and so my family had to turn off the air. (It was 102 outside!). I called customer service and they said it would be a roadside assistance issue of which I asked what they would possibly do and was told that they would change vehicles, sure I said!!! We had a loaded 26' truck and were towing a truck!!!! My family continued to drive without air and also the truck was still overheating!!!! We are very unhappy and waiting for a response as to how this will be handled but that is not going well at all I feel!!! I want some customer service!!!
