I was not pleased that once I checked in, I was responsible for taking photo's of the can. It was annoying as I had to keep starting over after taking a few pics. I checked in at 12:45pm, but I didn't leave Uhaul until 1:30. Also, there was no USB port to charge phones. Further, it was difficult figuring out how to get the radio off of AM. I had to go into the office and ask for help twice. The gentleman that helped had a difficult time figuring out how to get the radio display to light up and to get it on FM. He was doing everything I tried to do initially. Thank goodness, I was given a convertor that was for the port like old time a cigarette lighter, so I could charge my cell. Thank you! The service message for the tire system and change engine oil continued to flash. I think it would be better customer service if the salesperson would go out with the customer, and they could help explain the unknown expectations prior to leaving the lot, and explain the unfamiliar functions of the van. THANK YOU

My rating for the location are for Simi U-Rent, which is where I picked up and returned the truck. Steve was great! Friendly, professional, and very helpful. When renting the truck by phone with U-Haul, a 15' truck was not available at the closest location (Simi U-Rent), so I was offered the 20' truck for the same price. That was not reflected in the order, which caused a delay for me and a paid helper (who charged for that time). Steve had to call someone to sort that out. I think he dialed three times before someone answered. The truck had 154,000 miles on it, did not run very well, and pulled noticeably to the right. It was clean however.

The customer service guy was amazing. He explained everything to me at checkout. I did not feel pressured or confused. Giovanni. ( I think that’s his name ) was professional and very informative. I would definitely do more business there!

Badly understaffed location, one person can only do so much, visibly unhappy long line of customers when I went back to return the trailer, and only ONE staff. I'm sure is stressful, overwhelming and probably reportable to Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE/Labor Commissioner's Office and Cal/OSHA. This is bad business.

I reserved a 16’ toy trailer on the app. Put it my truck type make and model. 2016 Ram 1500 6 cyl diesel. You accepted reservation. When I the young man at the counter informed me I could not rent that trailer with a 1500 truck. I needed a 2500 truck. We had to scramble to find something different. This is something you need to fix in your system. Very frustrating for your customers. I had already made all the plans to pick up the load.

2nd time I've used them in past 5 months. They make it super simple. Skyler was great getting me out and then checked back in at the end of the day. The App was very easy to use and post pictures on. Truck was clean and pre-loaded with all the carts and blankets. Class A run facility. Thank you.

Truck was in great condition with dolly/blankets in the back for purchase if I needed them. Customer service at this location was great. Explained everything to me at pick-up and got me out fast at check-out. Will definitely use them again for next move.

I came to the U-Haul not expecting anything but boy was I wrong. Right off the bat, Brandon was there taking great care of me. Super easy going guy full of knowledge. A type of person you would want in your friend group. He helped point me in the right direction and told me about the special offers U-Haul had going on at the moment. I ended up getting a pickup truck. The truck was super clean inside and out. It drove like a champ. Talk about torque on demand! It was perfect for what I needed to haul. I gotta give a big thanks to Skylar as well. I only talked to him on the phone but he helped me with every question I had and was very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. Thanks U-Haul for your reliable truck, services and kind hearted workers. I’ll definitely be coming back to that location!

last person spilled gas in the back of van. Very nasty smell that would not go away with any spray. I only needed it for a 50 mile trip, and I think they gave me a little discount for it. Other wise, very good.

TW hen I picked up the truck, the clerk told me the cruise control had been disabled by U-Haul. I discovered in New Mexico That it had not and loved using it all the way to Tennessee. Thank you for the free truck upgrade and the awesome experience. Even the helpers (I found from your website) at the other end of my journey were amazing. U-Haul has got everything you need. A Smooth and simple experience.

This time there was only one person in line in front of me on the pick up and no customers there on the drop off. The gentleman that helped me on the pick up and drop off was great. Friendly and customer service oriented. Which is always appreciated.

Driving east on Los Angeles Avenue there is no easy way to pull into the Uhaul lot. I had to drive much further up the avenue to find a business I could turn around in to travel back west on L.A. Ave and then pull into Uhaul lot. That's a city of Simi Valley street design flaw. It does frustrate Uhaul customers though.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately this particular location doesn’t have very many storage units. I came 5 minute before closing thinking I could access my reservation of the storage unit and simply load my stuff in once the office closed, unfortunately that wasn’t an option. When I came at opening the next morning, the worker wasn’t able to locate my reservation or set me up properly. We waited for over an hour for us to finally get access to the storage unit. Again, the staff was super kind and I could tell they were doing everything they knew to do, but it was an unfortunate situation. This location seems great for truck and van rentals, but probably not the best for just storage rentals if you’re looking for something quick.

Joe and the entire team at this location are the most professional, attentive, knowledgeable and refreshing types of professionals — working in a demanding and clearly busy (seemingly non-stop) environment of steady customers in and out). They have made multiple services of this Uhaul site easy and seamless to use and invest patronage in, from rental vehicles to storage space, to moving supplies, to friendly advice and enjoyable almost “small town” friendliness. Thank you and your them for the truly rare and higher quality customer experience than is as easy to find and salute as this Uhaul team is at this location. 👍

There was quite a long period of time where I couldn't reach the staff at this location by phone. I was always transferred to another facility to take a message for them. 9 out of 10 times that I left messages I did not receive returned calls.

Rude, lazy and not willing to work staff. They all had their cars blocking my storage unit. I had to ask them for access, when not one but 3 employees leisurely took their time moving their car show vehicles as I waited a few minutes. The facility is dirty and it would make sense with 3 ppl who just take their time doing almost nothing. There was a mixup by uhaul of my pickup location and the staff were not helpful. Which all coincided with the customer service number who basically did the same thing and pushed me off to someone else to someone else. What a waste of time having me drive all over town and not be helpful. Horrible experience. If I wasn’t moving and needed your services that day I would have gone elsewhere. From this point forward you lost a customer. Thanks for wasting my time. Good to see staff being paid to do absolutely zero work.
