Juan is awesome and is a pleasure to work with. One of the guys who helped me on April 23rd was pretty rude. I was picking up on Friday eve and it was clear he was trying to get out on time. Other than that, it has been a good experience. BTW, the 20' truck I got yesterday...the key for the lock on the back would not work. Also I believe there may be a loose connection on the tailgate lights as they were intermittent.LINDA Z.

Simi Valley location and customer service, nothing to improve. Originally I wanted one way Fremont CA to Simi Valley, kept getting the run around and they would call me to confirm. They didn't, I called and they said pick up the truck in Monterey CA, Way out of my way. Then I got someone in the Sacramento area who said it was out of their territory and couldn't helpl. I called the SV Uhaul on Los Angeles who immediately understood and transfered me to the Regional office and they worked everything out. the trip was uneventful and check in was a breeze. Thank you Simi Valley Uhaul ;and Van Nuys Regional office. Also the one and only person on location, a young lady at the Simi Valley location was friendly , helpful and working efficiently with several customers at the same time and installed trailers for some. Maybe see if you could have a way too easier access to your yard ... maybe from a side street entrance so that you don't have to find somewhere to turn around down the street just to return equipment... that's very inconvenient for the customers.DONNY B.

They had a problem with being able to wash van not sure why and their computer was down. These things happen. I have rented here many times before and will again. The price is very good and trucks are available at short notice well stocked facility as always at this location in Simi Valley unlike other locations in this city. The staff is very helpful and friendly and not as cynical as the manager from a few years ago. I have made reservations at other U-Haul locations only to find out that they did not have the equipment available once I arrived. U-Haul of Simi Valley has never let me down.MARK K.

This may be nothing but in the world of malware etc I don't trust taking a pic of my license then digitally sending on your link provided. I asked the desk to do it for me as before,pre-pandemic. They should go with the customer to check out the vehicle . They should also show and confirm extra rented equipment ( how many blankets etc. ) . My vehicle had 50 more miles on it than the rental agreement. I caught it , but that shouldn't happen . They were nice and personable.GREGORY R.
Well, I haven't called the location yet but will shortly. I p/u the truck in the later afternoon hours. A couple hours later a female called me wanting to know when I would be returning it (it was the only one on the lot). I told her prob around 12 noon the next day because I was going to be able to use my daughters car, she responded saying â€œoh good!â€ There was someone who wanted to rent a pick up and they didn't have any on the lot. I took it back 12:30-ish. I was hoping they'd credit it as coming in early, but they didn't. I really NEED a car to work, but don't have the funds to do so, so am needing to rent!ðŸ˜«. I recently had a car from Enterprise and it cost me over $1,000. for 21 days...not good since I was using it for work and they were draining my account!!! Guess I need to pray for a miracle!SHAWN P.

Address I got in email took me next door. I ended up seeing the uhaul trucks and figured out how to get to the location, but you may want to look at GPS/address on popular GPS apps and adjust it. I had to make two u-turns in the next door parking lot with a trailer. Good practice, but a little frustrating! Thanks!STEPHEN L.

Have the person working the desk advise customers that if they are going to return their rental after hours they need to go to the U-Haul website and properly check-in the rental online. I did not know this step and I dropped off my rental without going online. The next day I called in and the customer service rep had no idea that my rental was dropped off and when he called my local store the rental hadn't been checked in yet. Rude, lazy and not willing to work staff. They all had their cars blocking my storage unit. I had to ask them for access, when not one but 3 employees leisurely took their time moving their car show vehicles as I waited a few minutes. The facility is dirty and it would make sense with 3 ppl who just take their time doing almost nothing. There was a mixup by uhaul of my pickup location and the staff were not helpful. Which all coincided with the customer service number who basically did the same thing and pushed me off to someone else to someone else. What a waste of time having me drive all over town and not be helpful. Horrible experience. If I wasn’t moving and needed your services that day I would have gone elsewhere.
