ALEAH AThis particular location never seems to have someone working at the cashier's area. There is no customer service, there is no interest in making sure you understand the rules/expectations in a helpful, friendly and concise way- you are told just to go find your truck. The Uhaul website also malfunctioned- wouldn't take my photos of the truck- it creates a sense of mistrust, as if you are mainly interested in getting more money for damages not caused by myself. It seems like you are not so much interested in protected your trucks, but rather just scamming customers.
Michael BI was transferred to 3 different locations and Uhaul called within an hour of my reservation and said they didn’t have the equipment I had reserved. I didn’t get the equipment I had paid for nor did I get to pickup the only option they had left for me at the original location. WORST CUDTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE ever!!! Who can I talk to at corporate???

Anissa PThe return experience was quite terrible. I was not informed that I had to download the app to return the truck after business hours. I arrive with 30 min to spare on my rental, I try to download the app and for some reason it wont let me. While this was an oversight on my part, I tried to call the 24/7 help line for Uhaul to figure out what to do. This location is not in the nicest of areas and I was sitting out in the dark alone waiting on hold for 15 minutes trying to return the truck. No one ever answered the phone so I had to have someone else come that already had the app to come and complete the return process before my reservation time ended and I was charged again. Not to mention earlier when picking up the truck, the entire system was down which ate into about an hour of my time which I needed to move. The location itself wasn't the issue, the experience with UHaul was the issue. If you are going to offer 24/7 customer assistance via phone its important someone actually answers the phone.
Asher RFirst of all, I reserved this rental a week in advance and only learned when I was picking up the rental that there was no dolly available that I had previously reserved. Obviously, no one is renting a U-Haul and a dolly for fun. I had a major move, and I assumed that I could trust the reservation that I made would be fulfilled. Then, the app was not working for me to take pictures of the rental to complete the check in. When I went into the store to ask for guidance, one of the staff members told me to take pictures of the truck on my phone, which I had already done. When I was trying to explain to the employee that I had already taken the pictures on my phone outside of the app, but the app would not let me complete the rental pick up without uploading the pictures and I needed assistance from a professional, the employee repeatedly interrupted me, suggested that I was being racist, and called me “sweetheart” in a derogatory tone. To say I was shocked is an understatement. To make matters worse, when I eventually go to get in the truck, I was unable to adjust the side mirrors because the truck was so old. Also, there was a crack in the windshield. Additionally, the backup camera didn’t work. At this point, I had been trying to pick up this truck for 45 minutes. Finally, when I went to return the truck, there was such a significant line of trucks that had been dropped off and not processed that I could barely pull into the lot from the busy street. I have rented from U-Haul countless times, but this experience did me in. I will not be relying on U-Haul on 8th Avenue in Nashville again.

Porter NThe two people working were rude and confrontational. I was in turn very rude and pissed off back towards them. I got attitude from them and gave it right back. Nevertheless, it was dropped off. All in all, it was not horrible just tension after a long day.
DANIEL HThe service was very poor and none of the processes were followed. The person gave me the keys and did not tell me where to go, I had to go find the uhaul myself. I was charged for the gas, when I actually was given the vehicle with less than 1/4 a tank of gas and had to pay money myself to be able to even get to the location. The van also smelt like cigarettes. When it was time to turn it in, no one was able to help me where I could have even gotten help for these issues. Not going back to this location again. Extremely unprofessional and made me feel like I was doing them a disservice by renting a vehicle.

Thomasine BI had a tire that almost came off of the trailer. I watch tires cause I am in a wheelchair because of a tire. This was very terrifying cause if I had not noticed the tire wobbling, it would have flew off in the next 30 min. At 65mph.

Carey WTruck had a check engine light which turned out to be an evap leak. Apparently there was a breach in the gas filler tube or a connector n the tank. When I filled it up to full it did not stop and spilled around 4 gallons of gas under the truck.. not cheap at $4 a gallon. Would have been nice to know before driving and filling the tank all the way

Sunday OIt took them 30 minutes to give us our deposit back. It was like they didn't want to give it back. Poor service.
kim gI got the U-Haul. Immediately felt low on power. I get to my apartment to start packing, I shut it off, go to my new house, ruins my entire driveway with a 8x8 inch oil spot. It started puking oil. I get done unloading and bring it back to the U-Haul drop off location in Brentwood. I shut it off, and it pukes oil. Unbelievable that this is th vehicles they are renting to people. Not to mention now im responsible for cleaning th oil spill off the driveway of a RENTAL HOME!!!
Dalton MTo be transparent it was raining, although nothing torrential at the time of drop. I arrived at equipment drop off line and waited at least 10 minutes, which lead me to get out of truck, walk into back door area where 3 employees were just sitting there not wanting to do anything because of the rain. Totally unprofessional, ride and downright disrespectful behavior.
