Vehicle was almost completely empty of fuel. Vehicle had a bad fuel leak. Smelled gas the entire trip.

waited an hour just to get the dirty truck. person didn’t want to check how many blankets were in the bag and argued no one has done this before. no walk around of vehicle was done. truck was filthy trash in departments huge cardboard on seat.

This location was by far the best experience all around. Service was above and beyond making the drop off easy. Trucks were being cleaned and well maintained as well.

The only problem I had was that the windshield was not clean properly, or the wipers were not maintained well. This caused EXCESSIVE streaking and was a safety hazard while washing the bugs off and especially when we hit rain. It was hard to see through the windshield, and my son and I felt it was dangerous. We stopped and cleaned it at a gas station. The interior of the windshield was clean. For 94 plus thousand miles, the mechanical were very well taken care of and it ran well and the truck was clean. Tires good, ran good, AC worked well and the cab was very clean.

The person who started my rental contract assigned me a open 6x13 trailer when I wanted an enclosed trailer. She switched to what I wanted, the said to meet where the trailers are parked and she would hook up the trailer. 22 minutes passed. I had to get the attention of a different employee to finish my pick up of the trailer. I was not very happy with this rental experience. 4 26 2026, Yuba City U Haul. You can do better.

Cashier seemed to be having the worst day of her life or simply she just doesn’t have good customer service. The entirety of the transactions she seemed annoyed with the questions I had, this is our first time renting a moving truck. Needless to say I won’t be going back in person anytime soon.

I showed up and no one was in the office. After 2-3 min. of waiting I knocked on a locked door that I heard people talking behind - no one opened the door. After another 3 min. or so someone showed up and took care of my order. Other than that the process was fine and the equipment suited my purpose.

There’s really not much I can say about how to improve your service. I’ve rented from this location before and I’ve always been treated with respect and professionalism. The only thing I can say that bothers me is sometimes the waiting at the counter for service . Regardless of how many people there are working ,it’s very depressing to see people who work there walking around and throughout the front counter area while there’s a line of people waiting for service. Even for just until the line of people goes down have a few other people in place to handle the traffic line . It’s not like you have lobby chairs so you can at least seat and wait .

Everyone is usually helpful except Leanne. She acts like you’re bothering her by renting equipment. She does everything but help and has a poor attitude. She didn’t even install my trailer correctly.

I got to U Haul at my appointment time but had to wait 20 minutes before someone would help me. Once I was done with my truck I returned it on time and put gas in according to the mileage used and paid the bill that was agreed upon. When I checked my bank, U Haul added another charge that was not agreed upon, they just over charged me out of the blue. Not good. Not doing business with them again.

I asked for a motorcycle trailer for a one way trip. Was booked for a regular flatbed, when the lot had multiple motorcycle trailers. But they were intended for in town only even though the employee who booked my reservation assured me I would get a motorcycle trailer rather than a typical flatbed trailer. Communication is key because I would have picked one up from another location if that was the case I just wanted some transparency and it didn't happen until I arrived and had to make what was reserved work.

Back up cameras on larger trucks would be great. The entire staff at the Yuba City location, from pick-up of vehicle to drop-off are highly appreciated. They were awesomely helpful and considerate, very patient and professional.

Horrible place. Horrible workers. Horrible communication and no problem solving skills whatsoever !!!! Definitely the worst U-Haul location I have ever experienced. Not only did they try and make me drive an hour away to a different drop off location because the truck was needed there they tried to make it seem as if I was not allowed to bring the truck to the original location after I declined for the new drop off place. Then tried to say how about to another location closer like 20 min away. I declined because miles were only offered to get there not for the inconvenience it would be to drive a separate vehicle to follow and back. Then on the day of drop off which we were told only a date to drop off never a time, they called to say we were late and I explained we were never informed of a time just a date they were so rude and had zero tolerance or understanding. I explained we weren’t able to drop off until 3:30-4:00 they with their snarky attitude slapped an extra charge along with an extra day extension . We did not need the extra day extension. Definitely never ever booking U-Haul again let alone choosing this location for anything at all ! .

I reserved the trailer just to go wait in line for 45 minutes!! However the young lady who assisted me was very professional and extremely customer friendly she rocks!! Not sure why there isn’t a customer service person just for those who reserve equipment, I’m sure more people would do it online if they knew they could be out of there in a few minutes vs a long wait!! A express line would be extremely beneficial for you guys!!

Your team member got us on the road fast and kept us well-informed on the ons-and-outs of truck rental. The truck itself performed great, even in the rain. Only minor gripes were: a.) Anchor boards are not spaced far enough from the wall for clip-hook ratchet straps b.) No back-up cams in the 20'/25' trucks yet c.) Fuel fill estimate indicator was off; ended up having to pump 25% more gas to get back to starting fuel line After-hours dropoff was easy and convenient. The whole experience was pretty good. I'd definitely rent a truck from Uhauls again.

Giving someone a truck at only a quarter tank is very unfair I feel like, completely screws my time and I have to get gas instantly. They also didn’t even pull the car out of the lot I had to go find it and it still had the cover of the window.

It would be helpful to inform your customers (when they pick up the equipment) that they need to take pictures before leaving the lot. I didn't find out about the pictures until I turned on my phone and received a text message, after I was on my way, so when I tried the link, it was too late.

Was in line for an hour. 1 guy at counter until very end. 15-20 minutes between each customer. Manager came through and helped the guy behind me before helping me. Everything was absurdly slow. Staff was friendly enough. Questionnaires and upsales take too many minutes in themselves.
