Tried online check in, took 15 plus minutes for them to verify info I had already provided. Finally got the truck and it had unmarked damage on the outside, it was dirty in the back, torn seat, drink spills in the interior, and the tank was empty. Staff eventually replaced the truck, but it took 30 plus minutes to get everything sorted.

I made a reservation a week in advance just for the to call me the day before we moved and told me they don't have the size truck I needed and I could only have it for 5 hours instead of the original 12 my reservation was for. So they gave me a smaller truck then what I needed plus charged extra then what my reservation was for. The next day we moved our stuff and returned the truck to a different location than we picked it up ( which on the website it says you can drop them at any uhaul location) The next morning uhaul calls me asking we're their truck was. I told them I dropped it at a different location and the lady said she would charge me a wrong destination fee if we didn't pick it up and bring it. So we called the location we dropped it off at and they were closed. I called Uhauls 1800 number and the lady said they were gonna charge me for another day and I could bring it back the following day. Overall my experience with uhaul was awful

The young girl that mounted my trailer was far from an expert and a little rude. But they were swamped and seemed understaffed. The trailer worked awesome.

First canceled my reservation of three weeks then I ly gave me a 10 foot truck when I need d a t 20 foot truck then gave me a truck with barely any gas had to spend 60 to fill it up and still charged me 60 bucks for estimated milage and I have to fill the truck up at the end of the night with another 40 bucks cause I had to do two trip cause it was a ten foot truck not a twenty like I asked for and after stoping off the truck after hours it tried to tell me to spend another 86 bucks so yeah didn't like that so please get back to me asap about this whole situation

Again, the self return process was horrible. I again had to fill out the form multiple times. Then it tried to charge me for a cleaning fee even though I returned it cleaner than I borrowed it. I hate your self service app. It really sucks.

I was extremely disappointed with the customer service. My brother in law needed help renting a vehicle. I was told by the attendant that I could give my card number over the phone on the day of the reservation. When I called to complete the transaction, the attendant, a different person, refused to take my payment. This put my brother in law in a very bad position. This facility and possibly U-Haul will not be used by me ever again. Make one S.O.P and stick to it.

I would not recommend UHAUL next time a friend wants to move. The day before @ 1pm I found out that my 12x6 was not available and the closest one was 2.5 hours away and I needed to leave RIGHT than if I wanted to get to the rental to secure I had it for the next day's trip. I understand Covid is causing problems but not a SINGLE 6x12 in a community of 400k people is unacceptable. And to say that your "dispatch" did not see a problem coming is a straight up lie. The staff @ the Virginia office were amazing but the overall reservation process @ UHAUL is horrible.

After making reservations for the trailer and paying for it, i still had to do it again when I picked up the trailer. Being over 70 years old, I am trying to limit my contact with people for long periods of time. Having to take 30 minutes in the U-haul office to fill out paperwork is exactly what I was trying to avoid by making the reservation and paying for it via a phone call. BUT this U-haul location was 1000 time better than the last one - other than the paperwork..

We rented a trailer and they sent us out with faulty lighting and frayed wiring. The running lights didn't work at all. Huge inconvenience as we were driving at night, so also very dangerous.It damaged our vehicles wiring and we had to purchase an additional set of lights because the ones from uhaul were inoperable. They refunded us for having to buy new lights, but we still had a balance on the rental plus have to deal with the damaged wiring it did to our vehicle. Totally unacceptable and the person helping us was in a big hurry so obviously didn't go through the safety checklist.

Location was fine and don't have any service complaints. However the booking process was a nightmare via the website and even over the phone. Everyone was professional, but getting a confirmation online, then receiving a cancelation notification is frustrating. So, i called uhaul directly and made a reservation over the phone which required me to drive an hour out of my way. Then receiving a call a few hours later saying my 2nd reservation couldn't be completed the same day and they didn't have the auto transport i confirmed a couple of hours ago within 300 miles. I was offered a $50.00 credit for my troubles, but didn't help with my situation to move a car from CA to AZ. After I gathered my thoughts, i called back and inquired about a tow dolly instead of a full transport trailer and was able to secure the tow dolly. However i was towing a 1982 dodge d50 that required restoration and I was unsure if the tow dolly would work for my application. It all worked out in the end, but left me with some hesitations about future uhual rentals.

Very disappointed only one clerk working on a Sunday morning before a Monday holiday. Very long line. I couldn't use the echeck in because of the need to add an additional driver. I will say the location is very easy to drive in and out of compared to other U-Haul locations.

My only concern is the wait to speak to person on the phone. NOT the location, I spoke with them but I was put on hold for a long time when calling 1-800-uhaul. The people at the location were VERY helpful and courteous.

DIdnt have the equipment at the location i ordered at.. drove to a new location, they didn't have the equipment I ordered/ reserved, I had to take a substitute. When checking the tires after leaving with the trailer and driving on the freeway, 1 tire didn't register a psi on tire Guage it was so flat and 3 tires were at 30 psi. I bought a tarp since I didn't get a closed trailer as reserved. When I tried to return it for a refund, they stated "if you don't have a receipt, no refund" when looking through the paperwork I was given, they hadn't given me a receipt for the tarp.

We have used U-Haul several times over the last few years, and have almost always rented or returned equipment at the U-Haul Storage at Virginia St. site. The people there are top-notch, but overworked. You really, really need to have more people working there. It always takes a while to check in. Christian J. was a delight at the desk and very helpful getting the trailer hooked up.

First, when I walked into the store several employees were walking around without masks. I get it's Reno tRuMp country or whatever, but come on....you had a sign on the door saying masks were required! WEAR A DAMN MASK! Second, I had reserved a furniture dolly weeks in advance but was told none were available in the store. SO, I had to buy one. This was the second reservation UHAUL did not honor for me in two days. Third, I walked outside without direction to guess which truck was going to be mine. The truck that I found waiting for me was the wrong one - the mileage and license plates were incorrect. I attempted to find an employee, but none were in sight. When I walked back in the store I found 3 male employees helping one attractive female (conveniently wearing masks this time)...come on guys, seriously? I explained the truck didn't match what was given, and was told "it's OK, just go ahead and take it - we'll update the information later for you and email it." I'm renting a UHAUL truck, all paperwork and terms and conditions should be printed, signed, and a copy handed to me at time of rental. I requested this and the lady behind the counter rolled her eyes at me. Lastly, I get into the truck and start driving it. The cab reeks of cigarettes, and there was zero indication that it had been sanitized after its last use. Look, my expectations are not very high here....pretty low actually, but you somehow managed to go below them. Wear a mask, sanitize the truck (or at the very least just pretend to), and conduct yourselves with some professionalism when renting a vehicle to someone. I won't be surprised when a robot starts doing your job...

The parking lot is full of trash and no one seems to care. U'm used to the Lockheed U-Haul facility where it is clean, employees are energetic, helpful, and hustle. Of the ones in Reno, it is sufficient, but that's not saying much.

The truck bed was dirty with the previous person's debris. The inside of the windshield had a film that had been there a while. The outside glass had dead bug smears on the glass from previous rentals. The engine revved when idle and sounded thread when accelerating slowly. A very bumpy ride. The attendant at the counter and at drop off was nice, but her clothing was soiled. There is a bottle of sanitizer on the counter that has black smears on it. It doesn't seem the sanitizer is appropriate for greasy hands. Thank you.

My original reservation location was double diamond in reno at 0700. When I got there I was told that my trailer was not there. I had to go to 3411 S. Virginia to get a trailer. This is the second time I had a reservation for a location that my equipment was at a different location. In Las Vegas on the 28 th of August I had to go to 2 different locations for my equip. I will look elsewhere in the future to rent equipment.

The reservation one makes does not guarantee that you will get what you reserved. The lots was full of trailers, the woman waiting on me said they were all reserved. I waited and talk with a man, he was helpful and didn't have a problem getting one for me. Sunday Sept. 27th.

This is the best UHaul location in Reno, Nevada. If you are seeking short-term, or even long term storage, I would greatly recommend the UBox. Upon opening my box, everything was in perfect order.

I will never use or recommend UHAUL again. One single reason. John Hernandez. The boxes arrived at UHAUL 5/4. No attempt was made to contact me until 5/17. I had to call UHAUL. There more but no room.
