I waited quite a while -then got the truck home to load and didn't have the dolly. Went back - there was only one person at the desk - many people waiting. I had to hire additional help to get the furniture lifted without the dolly. Also, the tank was very low - it took extra time to get gas and go back and forth to try and get dolly, Additional money out of my pocket to hire help to lift!

This time was a little quicker, but that be due to the Holidays. But they had what I was looking for and it was clean and well maintained. In and out no problem and the drop off was even quicker. I would definitely use this location again. Thank you, I needed that.

The seats in the van were covered in pet hair, my allergies actef up so I had to go home and take allergy medicine cuz I can feelt something in my throat due to the allergy. I had to change my clothes and wash everything because I got off the van covered in pet hair . Customer service was exceptional.

From making my reservation all of the way to returning the equipment was a total disaster. Each person I spoke to passed me on to another person who would be able to give me "better information" which occured at least 4 times during my two day rental. No one at either store location or on the phone seemed to have any idea what to do. It was terribly frustrating. What's more is that every aspect of the rental is a new angle to nickle and dime the consumer. Fees and random charges all over the place that no one ever mentions. I was offered a discount on my rental to return the truck to a town 30 miles beyond my destination, to which I obliged for the discount. However, I was still responsible for the gas to go that extra thirty miles AND on the day I returned it where they tried to charge me the amount that they had taken off for returning to that location. The only person who seemed to have a clue how to make anything happen was the manager at the Lake Oswego location, Chris. She was vigilant and took care of the extra charge that was trying to be applied. At least she was great.

Windshield wipers were bare and dangerous given the weather conditions. The dispatch office called to ask if I was willing to get the oiled changed when I had the truck, which was neither a vote of confidence given the fact I was about to drive several hours in the snow not a convenient or reasonable request given I am the customer, not an employee responsible for maintaining a vehicle.

The things that went wrong started with a lock on the cargo door that was word locked and after getting to get moving had to call bend u haul and 3 people tried to figure it out while I got transferred from person to person. Never again will I use u haul.

Staff had a great attitude and was very helpful and got me through some reservation changes smoothly. I thought it'd be a more stressful experience but they made it easy and fun. The only hang up was the online drivers license uploading. That was clunky and slowed things down a bit.

I first reserved to pick up on the app.. when attempting to use the app on pick up day, i was going through the steps and it then asked for a picture of my passport and lease agreement. Such an inconvenience I personally don’t have a passport and I don’t care my lease agreement on me. For anyone that is moving typically don’t have that. I went inside where I was eventually helped and the guy was saying you guys have issues with the app... (if it’s constant clearly something needs to be fixed)But it took an additional 20 minutes cut into my time with the truck res. I was told it was at a half a tank, which no one went out with us to do a walk around for damage or check the fuel. Not to mention the truck really wasn’t clean either. I attempted to come back in but there was a line of people still waiting to be helped. I returned the fuel level where I received it at. The rep then asked why I didn’t text it that it wasn’t where it was at. I stated I didn’t get a text and he then didn’t really say too much but looked very annoyed... it was even the general manager who was helping me check back in..

Be sure to let the customer know they will get a text providing a link to verify mileage, fuel and vehicle condition. I had to go back into the office and ask.

The place in Bend was excellent, the place i dropped it off at in Nevada was no different, i could not get better service or equipment if I tried. The young man in Oregon was the epitome of how a person should be, working by himself he did what he could but still did better than most. The Nevada Uhaul was the best part of the entire town. Thank you Uhaul for helping a stressful situation be tolerable.

Just like to commend your staff for their helpful and friendly manner. A smile and some patience answering questions they must have answered 1000's of times may sound simple but it's hard to keep up and it is great to be on the receiving end, especially when it's your first time renting. I was told my trailer was available that morning, multiple times. It was still changed without proper notification and I almost didnt even get one. horrible management by u haul, nothing against the guys working the counter, they did the best they could to accommodate. 100% track record of errors everytime I use I haul. broken trucks or equipment not properly reserved like said.

I was charged to much for gas refill. I returned without filling after driving 19 miles and was charged 15 dollars for refill. Unless your pickup trucks get 6 miles a gallon, and your gas costs 5 dollars per gallon, I was overcharged.

I would recommend the location, people were friendly and professional, but I would NOT recommend going to a U-HAUL outlet at all due to your false and misleading advertising. Your entire marketing campaign is fraudulent. The only way a person could get the $19.95 or $29.95 rate is if you rented the vehicle, didn't take any insurance on it, and didn't start the motor or move the vehicle from the spot its parked at on the U-Haul lot. Even the staff at this location acknowledged that. Really this is intentionally misleading. My "$19.95" rental van (which I used for 3 hours and drove a total of just 20 miles round trip, and took the bare minimum insurance, ;and rented no extras like blankets dollies etc.) cost me $62.00 plus $10.00 gas..... basically 4 times the advertised rate. Your own representative acknowledged, the only way you could get the $19.95 rate is if I didn't touch the van and didn't take it off the lot...even then their would be the tax, so no way under any circumstances would anyone pay the advertised rate. This is false advertising and fraudulent. You are not a reputable company and I will tell everyone who asks to go elsewhere for any rental needs.

Provide a loaner 4-way electrical connector instead of having the customer buy one. If the customer does not return the connector then charge them - just like anything else that is extra that charged when not returned.

This time U-haul did just fine, check-in a little slow. However, in the past, but not at this U-haul, had problems with: truck not available when I made a reservation a week in advance; despite advanced reservation had to come back because car carrier not at truck rental location a time I rented truck; had to go to another location to pick up pads; flat tire on car carrier not repaired; under-inflated tires; unsafe tire on one truck.

Check in was very quick, the equipment I reserved was waiting out in front of the office, and I was on my way within 15 minutes or so. Returning was even easier, as I was assisted immediately upon driving into the lot and was in and out within 10 minutes. Great service, friendly folks.

I followed the instructions I was given from the mobile reservation to skip the line and go to the side to get the key for my rental and I was ignored and not even acknowledged while the one person who was working finished a rental and then they kept ignoring me as the next customer in line approached and I had to interrupt and say “hi! I’m just following the app to get my key and it said to skip the lines and show you this” the agent didn’t look at the screen that I was instructed to show and said well what does it say and I repeated, to skip the line and show you this. So then he made it apparent he thought I was stupid when he looked and said whatever number truck I had even though the mobile reservation never said “tell the agent what truck you have” It was a rude experience and not one I’d recommend to anyone to reserve mobile but only in person because they acknowledge you that way and don’t talk to you like you’re an idiot.

The whole Uhaul experience was really frustrating. Poor communication, Beat up trailer, bad customer service, incorrect information input in the “contract”, etc. long story short, on a Sunday I requested that I keep it an extra day. The lady in the call center said someone would “message” me a confirmation. Well, that never took place. Since I really did not want to inconvenience them on a Monday morning by not having a trailer they might possibly be expecting to rent out, I dropped it off on my way to work early Monday morning. When I received my invoice it reflected a $20 “after hours service fee”! After inquiring about this, it turns out that since I dropped the trailer off before they opened, they charge me a fee! Unbelievable! I will not return to this uhaul. I will likely not even use any uhaul in the future. There are other choices. Good luck!

It was the wrong trailer when I went to pick it up. This was the second major mess up with U-Haul while trying to make this move. However Mike was super and provided great customer service in a frustrating situation. Also I had difficulty checking the trailer back in after hours using the website. Not a very user friendly site.

I wish I had a heads up that the size I rented did not have a ramp. I’m not in the moving business and made false assumptions, being so green. Made for a very difficult move for two women (one senior). No fault of anyone who works there. Just better information would be great for your less experienced customer. We had to leave an expensive bbq behind because we simply could not lift it, even though it had rollers on the bottom. A little sad/discouraged about that and also about my mom being in pain from unexpected lifts. Other than that, all was good. Thanks for reading my comment. Hope it helps your business a bit! I would have gladly upgraded for a ramp. Best.

Please install sand paper anti slip grip tape to all your trucks. I slipped and fell and hit my head outside my storage unit 130.. if i had been seriously injured I would have grounds for a lawsuit!!
