When I made my reservation over the phone through the call center I reserved at a different location in my town. Later I received an email stating the reservation wasn’t able to be filled. I called back and they found another trailer an hour from my town. Because of the increased distance from where I’d be using the trailer I didn’t think I’d be able to get it back to the rental location within 24 hours so I said I’d need it for 2 days. The person from the call center as we were ending the call said you can drop the trailer off in Bend if you want to. I was able to complete my use of the trailer in less than 24 hours and dropped it off in Bend, the city I originally reserved it in. When I asked to have the extra day refunded I was told the extra cost was for dropping it off at a different location. I explained that I was no told there would be a cost for that. The clerk basically said there was nothing he could do and was dismissive. Today I called the call center and was told they cannot refund the extra day because that’s the amount of time they had booked it for. When I asked if it would be rented to someone I who came into the Bend location I returned it too 28 hours early. I was told this was policy. Two problems here. I was told multiple things by your staf in an effort to explain why I could not have a refund for the time I did not have your trailer. I’d like to receive a refund for the extra day I did not have it and it was back on your lot ready to re-rent. I’d also recommend that you explain this inforto your customers before you rent your products. This is bad customer service. Also your employees should all be saying the same thing instead of each giving a different answer.

This was the location that informed us how to read the gauge on the paperwork which shows the gallons so that you don't overfill the gas tank. Because we explain to her how frustrated we were in the fact that we had well over filled the truck asked if there was any way we could be compensated for that and she said no.

I was pretty much forced to take a vehicle that had transmission issues and would not shift until I was at 5500rpm everytime it shifted. As a result I spent $120 in gas to drive 133 miles. I realize I have extra miles for my move. The total amount I spent on gas was approximately $155, to get it back to half a tank. And I was honestly trying to drive so that I could keep the green dots in my favor....But the truck would not let me. I would like a credit back to my debit card for at the very least $80-95. I was not happy when the uhaul Employee told me that I was taking that truck because it needed to be serviced in Eugene. I requested to drive a different vehicle because I did not want one that needed maintenance and I really could not afford to spend all that money on gas I have other bills that I need to take care of and now my account is almost over drawn and I need someone to take care of this as soon as possible for me I would appreciate it.

If you are coming from the north to the Bend OR location you cant make a left turn to get into the yard and need to go south a ways to make a U-turn.Perhaps a sign north of the yard informing customers they need to make a left turn at the stoplight just north of the yard to go around and go in the back way. I left my sun glasses in the truck. After calling the location first thing in the morning to ask them to hold them for me they said there were no sun glasses in the truck. I know for certain that they were left in the truck. I will be posting the same review online and social media as this is theft.

We got stuck in a horrible situation moving and the uhaul agent was rude disrespectful and mean! We needed the truck longer than expected and while dealing with a terrible housing situation received no consideration at all from uhaul! We will never ever rent from uhaul again! Terrible customer service! Terrible truck condition-none of the cabin or cargo lights worked, truck was barely running on its last leg! Absolutely terrible!!! Stay away from uhaul in Bend OR!

This is the third time that location has over charged me I'm sick of this it's the only location that has repeatedly over charged me rude and so disrespect fully they act like a bunch of druggies I want my money returned.

In the end it wound up being they gave me a different truck then what was on the paperwork, the manager had asked me to check mileage and fuel on truck against paperwork to make sure there were no discrepancies and both were way off, even after the manager asked the help if it was the right truck the employee said in fact it was. The rental truck looked like it had been run through some large mud puddles. But seemed to run well and was clean on the inside.

Don't blame Bend, OR Uhaul! It's not their fault! This has nothing to to with them. This wasn't my pick up location. This isnt my rental. In a single, simple trailer rental, Uhaul Nat'l has made numerous big mistakes. One thing after another. I rented from Maryland; not even sure how they matched this confirmation with an Oregon uhaul. They sent my original order to a vendor that was 40 miles out of my way. They said I returned it to the wrong location, but it's the right one as confirmed. National customer service closes at 7PM and isn't available to help. Hold times were over 15 minutes. Multiple phone disconnects. The local guys are great, considering what the online and ordering system puts them through. For a Corp this size, they sure are crappy about reservations, service, and accuracy. I think they must have a sick, blind duck doing their I.T. and booking.
