good people; choatic site and re-direct from U-Haul corporate. Bad on you, not good folks at N Bend store. Contract specifically said, return to N Bend store. U-Haul sent text re-directing me to other Bend store. Unaccetpable! My last gas run and appliance run all se to fit N store. N store in terrible shape. Took way too long. I stood in line, waiting, WRONG line! Guy in yard too busy, told me to use URL posted on sign. That didn't work! Because UHaul redirected me. Matthew Foote is way over worked but fixed the problem. Give credit to M. Foote for making this customer happy. Don't put a return location on the printed contract, then charge me MORE when I return to that location. The UHaul web services and phone support are very good. Once a trained staff at a location has the okay to work on my issue, it's great. What stunk is the process and beauracracy imposed on the Bend site and the UHaul redirect from corporate. It would have been perfect rental until then. The value was good and 30 mins wasted at the drop off was not that bad but take you from 5 to 4 stars on yelp.Scott D.

The location is good and the people were nice and helpful. The app tried to cheat me twice. It was going to charge me $30 for gas even when the amount I recorded was higher when I returned the truck and the pictures showed it AND the amount driven was 13 miles. It also had lower total mileage on the app than the truck showed. I corrected this in the app but it still charged me for the extra. It certainly seems U-Haul is trying to cheat customers.JOHN N.

Conversely, this location identified the issue immediately, looked underneath and saw the inadequate patch job. We paid $30 to fill up the tank to the original level but the leak made that impossible. I would appreciate some attention to this and some funds returned to me - at least some gas money...GEOFFREY G.
The self check-in experience did not work. I then had to wait in line and re-enter submit information I had already provided. Further once i was manually checked in and he said I was ready to go, they had not loaded my appliance dolly into the truck yet. The associate mentioned the gate was difficult to close, but didn't look close enough to realize that the mechanism was off track and thus causing the issue.TYLER JAMES F.
Dropped off trailer, staff was very busy & multi-tasking, said return scanned in & would email return confirmation later that day. Email never came, & location doesn't answer its phone. When I called Nat'l office was told no record of trailer being returned. I had to drive 50 miles the next day to appear in person & insist they document my return (trailer still sitting in lot). Very dissatisfied, & don't how I would have resolved without going back in person (I actually live 200 miles away from location.)Sam P.

This specific location was fine. The overall u-haul experience however gets a 1 star. Your website is terrible. It's glitchy, does not give accurate information, and won't allow resetting a password, making online check-in impossible. When I call the 800 number, my average on hold time is 23 minutes plus, each and every time. Your customer service is terrible. When I try to reserve on line, I am told no trailers are available, but if I call a specific location, every time trailers ARE available. This location gets 4 stars but uhaul overall gets 1 star at best. I don't know how you can run a business the way you do and still be aroumdGabe B.
Understaffed to the extreme. After waiting for 30 minutes, I connected the 6x12 cargo trailer to my truck on my own and found a yard guy to take the picture of the hookup. Same problem on return.CLIFFORD K.

Don and Wil demonstrated great customer service. There was an issue with picking my reserved truck at a different location due to the holiday weekend and Don was so helpful helping me solve the issue. I would highly recommend their store to anyone moving in Bend.ANGELA H.
It was incredibly disorganized. I waited outside to pick up since I did everything online including payment. Then I was told I had to go inside still...I waited in line for over an hour even though I did your online check in. Had to reswipe my card even though you already had that. Then I had to go back outside and try to find someone. Absolutely no room to maneuver my vehicle once they hooked up the trailer. You advertise a cheaper price in the store....misleading! I will not recommend to anyone. I was never notified that my requested location would not be able to accommodate my truck rental. So instead of getting the truck less than 1 mile from my home, I had to drive farther north, adding miles to the cost of my rental. Then, upon my arrival at the location of the truck, I had to wait in line for an hour. This is not an exaggeration, I waited in line for an hour for my RESERVED truck. Absolutely terrible experience, I will seek out a different truck rental company in the future. Even your own employees say that you understaffed and refuse to upgrade your computer system which is unfair to them, as they have to deal with the disgruntled customers. You should and can do better.amanda R.
My customer service person ( Do not know his name ) was very rude , when I went in to the Bend Oregon office Friday 5-21-21 to reserve he was rude and very short. When I came back in Tuesday 5-25-21 to pick up the cube van he again was very rude and felt he was belittling me , I had to stop him and explain to him he should be nice to people , especially being that he is in customer service , I was very mad , we had just had a very tragic family situation and I had to get from Bend to Washington immediately , drop the u haul in Washington and dive a family vehicle back . I explained to him he should be nice to everyone as you never know what someone is going thru emotionally and I was indeed on the emotional edge more than I have ever been , I had some bad thoughts going thru my mind and if I could have found another quick way to my family emergency I may have pulled him out from behind the counter and beat him , I am not that kind of person but I was suffering some serious trauma , he is a lucky man and I was very hurt and unhappy with the whole thing . All this being said someone should have a serious talk with him , wish I would have got his name but I was so on the edge all I could do was get out of there , I am sure you can find out who he is.CRAIG GINDRA B.
