This uhaul location was great, however my overall uhaul experience was terrible. I had reserved a truck at a different location, showed up and they didn't even have any trucks. I then went to a second location, they had the truck but it wouldn't start. Barrett road was my third try, they came through and it worked out. However, I'm not happy because I had to pay for all the extra miles because it was completely across the county.Kevin A.

I called on a Monday to set up the delivery of my uboxes. I was told on the phone that the soonest they could do was Saturday, and that on Friday they'd call me with a 2 hour window. I waited patiently and then never received a call on Friday. I called them around 5pm on Friday and was told there was no record of a delivery happening on Saturday, and I'd have to wait for Monday for delivery. A week of delays because Uhaul didn't "keep their promises with me" like the phone recording says every time it reminds me the call would be recorded. Had to get them delivered on Monday instead of a weekend which is extremely inconvenient. Uhaul essentially delayed my move-in by 2 weeks by being so slow to set up a delivery appointment, and then by not actually doing it.Andrew H.

The Uhaul I used had 3/4 of a tank of gas when it was checked out to me but the check in papers said it needed to be 1/8 of a tank more at return. The engine had some noise it was making as well as the tow/haul button was stuck. When I parked it for check in it was 2 miles less on the odometer then when the rep turned it on to run it during check in. Odometer issues. Clean yes. Maintenance no. The front door to the office at this location is jammed and very hard to open. The employees were professional and courteous.SHAYNE BERNARD V.

Owner Andrew refused to contact Harley for my refund after I stating she requested him (Andrew u-haul owner) to call her for the process of the refund. He stated â€œOh, knowing them they already processed itâ€â€¦.. they never did until the 29th and I turned my trailer in weeks before. Do not trust u-haul or the owners they do not care about you or the contract just the money they get. Andrew seemed really excited to get my trailer a day early to then sell a contract for that same trailer to leave the very next day.Micheal S.

I originally had a reservation for the Meridian location. I called the day before to change my reservation to the following day. When I arrived to pick up the cargo van I had reserved I was told it had been cancelled. I waited for an hour for another truck or van to arrive. I was then told I had to drive to Ferndale to pick up. I was charged full price for the rental even though I had to drive to a new location and waste 2 hrs of my day, which was supposed to be used moving, dealing with Uhauls mistake. The on-line reservation system worked, but I had to call to confirm that the reservation had been made, and waited 20 minutes to get the answer. This was easily the worst experience I have ever had moving. There was constant confusion among staff, poor communication, and we were charged an outrageous amount with added additional fees every time we talked to someone. Our belongings arrived in Denver on 6/7 and we were told they would be delivered to Boulder on 6/12 (and charged the full amount at that time). When they didn't arrive, we were told â€œoh no, they aren't coming until 6/20â€ (TWO WEEKS after they had been in Denver. Then we were charged an extra delivery fee of $100, when we had been told we had already paid the full amount. I will never be using uhaul again. All this happened after our original uhaul truck reservation was canceled and we had to live without any belongings for a month. Also, the Uboxes themselves were in terrible shape with the doors nearly falling off. I'm very surprised they arrived in one piece. I used to love uhaul, but this experience has been horrible enough to turn me off for good.Jacob I.
Very unhappy. Would never recommend. My boxes were to be at my home on June 10th per Spokane office. I was informed when I got to Ferndale that there was no truck available to deliver until July 10, thus costing me another months rent and much inconvenience. But I could bring one at a time! 8 boxes later, 10 days later we had our things. Couldn't afford to hire help for that many days so my 77 year old partner and myself (70) unpacked them. We felt mislead and ripped off. Fortunately our last move. The staff at Ferndale was very helpful even if they were in the middleKathy E.

I registered online for smartphone pickup. When I got there phone said it was available but no truck matched the number. I had to go inside only to discover that the "supervisor decided to hook it up to a trailer" which I did not order. The attendant then had to back out my online order and restart from scratch twice, due to conflict issues. This was not convenient. The excuse was given that it was the computer system. This was either a cover-up of the supervisor's mistake or the online system needs radical improvement.Ron D.
