Although I returned my 24 hour trailer after only 8 hours and opted for an email final bill, I received a txt that my trailer was due to return the next morning . . Several hours after I got a threatening txt that they were going to come looking for me . . I called and cleared it up but was miffed at having to call back

Originally had another pick up location confirmed to me by email. Arrived at powell confirmed location and was told no trucks available. I told agent I had a confirmed reservation there and wasn't helpful. Then I had to arrange transpiration to other pick up location where truck was dirty and supplies weren't loaded. I have more moving to do next month and will not be using Uhaul again!

Credit Card terminal didn't work, but they kept trying, it took almost 1 hour to get the trailer. TRAILER: Great, but highly recommend that you add a ramp. I had to build one from wood.

Check in was super easy with the online system (never used that before!) and the guy who checked me out was awesome and played excellent Hawaiian music inside. Great experience.

Double check ordred items are in the truck. I specifically asked about furniture pads and was assured they were in thr truck. When we got to the house to begin loading ojr belongings there were no pads. Despite that minor inconvience, the staff were outstanding and very helpful.

The window wash was empty. It was scary driving down to California over the passes not having a way to clean the windshield from debris. Overall the process and experience using uhaul was worth it. But am not very satisfied that we didn't have window wash in our truck.

This was the third place I tried to drop off. When trying to rent the trailer the guy made a mistake booking it. I got “upgraded” to a large trailer which costs a lot of fuel. Overall not happy with the communication and convenience.

I have no complaints what so ever. I only got a car trailer and we didnt inspect it before or after. Only issue I had is wanting to drop it off after hours, but not finding any information about it when searching. It just showed up with the ones that have keys. Aka non trailers. But regarldess the experince was fine.

$90 to rent a $20.00 truck. the gas gauge went past the FULL mark. I got screwed for another $18.00 (should have been $10) They have no problem putting it to you. I had another reservation which I then canceled due to the way they like to practice business. I will go elsewhere in the future. I should mention I'm disabled.

I am filing a complaint with the FEDERAL dept of trans. And I've already filed with the BBB...I am so angry at u haul for the CRAP service, dangerous vehicle, and OVERCHARGED US 1350.00 !! YOU HAVE NOT HEARD THE LAST OF US !!!

I don't have a smart phone and couldn't call in my return when I was done with the van. A little frustrating as I called the manager's number posted on the rental office and it rang a couple times and immediately went to a busy signal and then hung up on me! Already frustrated and then that happened.

Hunter at the Portland corporate office and Bihn at Vans on Quimby were very accommodating and made the experience with UHaul a positive one! Bihn went out of his way to ensure we were able to pick up a trailer before hours. He also followed up to make sure we were safely on our way. Thanks to both Bihn and Hunter! The locations are great and really know their stuff the people that work in your call center that take the reservations are terrible and don't know anything twice I've called in a reservation and when I showed up to pick it up the store had no record of my reservation

Please hire someone to answer your phones. It took me three hours to make reservation on line because I had questions which I could not get answers. Also. I could not do the smart drop off because I am in a wheelchair and had a different driver. I was at home, could not confirm location. Was glad was not charged $20, but worried all night.

I rented blankets. There were already blankets in the truck, which we were not told about beforehand. We used them all, so no complaints. It's the only thing I could think of which wasn't perfect.

This location was great. They made me feel a lot better after the uhaul company website failed me in the first place. I wound up adding 45 extra miles to my trip because uhaul “doesn’t do one way trips anywhere near sw Portland”(according to customer rep at the Sherwood location. I was notified 45 minutes before getting my truck that I’d have to drive 23 miles further to get it way across town. Luckily, the location on foster was great and the people there really made it all better. Uhaul has great representatives, but horrible policies.

When I reserved the 20’ truck it was at the 48th and Powell location in Portland. When I arrived to pick it up, they had upgraded me to a 26’ truck because they had no 20’ trucks. Because of size limitations, I could not accept the 26’ foot truck, so a 20’ truck was found a few miles away. Unfortunately, I had no way to get there, and had to take the bus. This caused delays in our loading the truck. All survivable, but I would strongly recommend that you ALWAYS alert customers to any changes BEFORE they show up to pick up the equipment. Had I been so alerted, we could have solved the problem over the phone and I’d have gotten a ride to the place with a 20’ truck from the start. Otherwise, the entire experience was great. Everyone was friendly, helped me solve any problem quickly, and we had a good, safe move.

The staff was especially courteous and helpful, both at pickup and when I returned the trailer. At pickup, the person in charge did a good job supervising a newer worker to make sure that the trailer was hooked up correctly and safely. I also appreciated that I was able to pick up my equipment 90 minutes earlier than my reservation time, due to a change in plans.

I have been using U-Hauls services every time I've needed a moving truck. After the experience I had at the Foster Road location, I will never use a U-Haul ever again. I was both physically and verbally assaulted in the store by both the manager and another employee. The truck that I rented was visibly clean, minus few broken glass shards under the seat and a drinking straw stuck to the windshield inside the cab. I thought nothing of it so I did them a courtesy and removed it myself. Upon departure from this rental location the smell inside the cab was extraordinary noxious - I'm unsure if they use the right chemicals to clean inside the truck. I figured after driving with the windows down a little the smell would dissipate but my girlfriend and I both began to get dizzy. After only 15 minutes I had to quickly pull over because my girlfriend had to vomit due to the overwhelming presence of chemicals in the driver's cab. I too could barely breathe. On a rainy day - we had to drive around town at night with our windows completely down just to be able to breathe. I returned the vehicle late at night and attempted to use the Uhaul app, which failed, so I proceeded to use the U-Haul website directly. That apparently worked, but the next morning I woke up to find I was charged twice for my rental in addition to a hidden $20 fee for dropping the truck off at night. I was told that if I used the app that there would be no fee. I went to the store to explain the discrepancy and asked if they could take care of the $20 fee and also asked why I was charged twice on my account. I told an employee, a black man with glasses and a beanie that refused to give his name, what'd happened to my girlfriend and the condition of the truck - he told me it was my fault and that I should have returned the truck immediately. I explained to him that I could not have known that the smell of cleaning supplies was going to be such an issue and that I was there primarily to take care of the charges that should not have appeared on my account. Whether or not the cabin of the truck was safe to be in was unknown, you cannot take pictures of smells inside a driver's cab. I repeatedly reminded the employee that I was there because the $20 that was unjustly charged to my account - because I made an effort to use the app but ended up using the website because the app DID NOT WORK. They insisted that the app works and that it was my fault yet again. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came into play and repeatedly berated me. I asked if they could please take care of the charge and call whoever they needed to. Both employees stated that it was my problem and that I needed to call customer service. Again I explained that I had driven to the store that I purchased the rental to take care of the problem but they told me to get the f*** out of the store and that they needed to take care of other customers. At this point I was not only shocked but completely agitated. I said I wasn

The cab of the truck smelled like cigarettes, the employee that checked me in didn’t come out and go over the truck. There was no hand truck in the truck, no key for the padlock on the back of the truck.

The folks here were quick, friendly, and professional. I found it extremely easy to get what I needed when I needed it. As I was leaving, I saw that this location also had a place where people could donate their used boxes for other people to use for free. This deepened my appreciation for this particular location. I will think of these folks first when I need uhaul again in the future.
