I love the online express check-in feature. It definitely saved me time. I was waiting in line while other customers were being helped and checked in right from my smartphone. The process was easy and the U-Haul employee was very friendly and hooked up my trailer and got me on my way very quickly. He had outstanding customer service!



They wouldn't rent to me because my first name on my credit cards didn't EXACTLY match my first name on my DL. This has NEVER been an issue before. They could have looked up my past Uhaul rentals to verify my good history with them.

More realistic pricing and complementary use of dollies. My rental was "29.99", however, after taxes, insurance, fees, mileage, dolly and pad rental, my bill was $101; $71 beyond the rental price. I'm not saying the price isn't fair, but it feels more like being nickel and dimed, which can make an organization seem cheap and slightly underhanded. If I did recommend your organization to a friend, I would make them aware of all the up-charging.

I was not satisfied with my experience. I was told the gas was at 7/8 but it was at a 1/2 tank. I said I did not want to get insurance, the cashier attempted to add it on without me noticing. I asked about pre-existing damage, cashier said all spots were marked and I didn't need to document the condition. Upon returning, we were asked about pre-existing damage (clearly not already accounted for) I said, I wasn't sure how long I needed the truck, I guessed 4 hours--cashier said just call if you need more time. When I did call, I was told I could not have more time--even though the price pays for 24 hours. Overall, not at all impressed.

All-in-all a good experience. The manager. Willie, is a dillhole. Worst costumer service I've experienced in a while. The other guys were nice. Might be time to get rid of this ding dong and promote someone else to take over this branch.

The 45 minute wait for service is unacceptable, even if it is a busy time for your computer network...fix your system. Also ticked off having to pay an additional 17% county tax. I tried to rent in another county but couldn't get the size truck I needed and couldn't get any kind of discount or credit. The staff is excellent at this location.

The trailer we ordered had a flat tire. So we downgraded to a smaller trailer. But we paid the same price for it. Is there any way we can get a refund?



I am not satisfied with the service given. I was overcharged for two days when I have rented the uhail for few hours. This is the second time I have used your service and second time I am having problems with billing. I will take my service elsewhere from now on thank you.

You had notes in your file that I was to be given 50 extra miles because I agreed to drop the truck off at a different location. I did so but was then charged for the extra mileage. No one has called me or written back to correct it. Not ok.

The guy who hooked my trailer up to the truck did not provide me with the brake wire so the trailer did not have lights for an overnight drive from Portland, OR to Los Angeles, CA. He also did not inform me to tighten the tire straps after driving for 30 minutes. When we reached the agriculture checkpoint in California our car was almost out of the straps. We did not feel that UHAUL did an adequate job setting us up for a safe move.

I have been coming there for years at least 2 to 4 times a year. Up until this time I have always had a good experience. This particular time lots of things were slightly amiss which, as we all know, happens in life occasionally... what made it a less than good experience weren't the accidental mis-communications and the errors, but the total lack of friendliness and understanding from the quite lame employee servicing us. If he had any service or people skills, he hid them well... i dreading going back to your location again...i don't mind errors or changes in policy, but i don't put up with unfriendy business... no way... truck was good and price affordable... thank you

The gas was a little below 1/4 on the gauge and paperwork said 1/4. Thought it was close. Manager told me to figure about 10mi/gal to refill. I put 7 gal in first thing. Drove 54.35 miles and brought it back. The guy charged me $30 fill service plus $15.30 for fuel!! So it cost me $45.30 + $20= $65.30 for gas to go 54.35 miles. Never using UHaul again. Done.

Nothing against the location but I never received a notification that my equipment was at this location. This was not my preferred location. I showed up at my preferred location and there was no equipment. Horrible communication.

I would not recommend at present. I was not told there was a $20.00 fee for enlisting help to secure my car to the trailer I rented when I made my initial inquiry at this location and when I made my reservation. I had arranged with the location and when I made the reservation that I could pick up my rentals at 0700 on 9-14-17 and that, when I arrived, the car trailer would already be attached to the Van. Neither were initially honored. I had to call the U-Haul number and "scheduling" when I was advised by cell-phone text (the night before I was to move) that the pick up would be available at 1000. I was also then advised, for the first time on the evening before my move, that this U-Haul location was a "preferred" pick up site and I would be informed later the night before my move if the station could accommodate my rental request (for vehicle trailer and Van). The rep I met with two weeks before I rented this equipment ("K.T.) did not inform me of this, nor did the reservations clerk when I made my reservation. I specifically went to this location as it was close to my home (convenient) and I did not know of any other U-Haul locations in the vicinity. I had planned to begin my move first thing in the morning on the 14th. I was finally able to confirm the pick up after several unnecessary and anxiety causing phone calls. The trailer was not already secured to the van when I picked it up as previously promised and this further delayed my trip. The manager charged me $20.00 to secure my car to the trailer as I had never towed a car before (although I have previously rented from U-Haul and had positive experiences) and I was concerned I would not be able to do so safely. I do not believe it is fair or appropriate to charge me for this "service" as it is a legitimate safety issue. His initial directions to me were both cursory and confusing. He did not understand that, having never towed a car this way, I was concerned that the car be properly and safely attached to the trailer. It took the Manager (Willie Landingen) less than 2 minutes to perform this safety related service. On an hourly basis, this service would equate to $500.00 per hour ($20.00 for every 2 minutes in one hour). The Manager was NOT personable, friendly and made no effort to make my visit a positive experience. As I spent over $450.00 for this rental (and have rented from U-Haul before and hope to again for my next move), I feel the $20.00 fee for securing my vehicle to the trailer and helping me feel comfortable and secure with the rented equipment was both unnecessary and excessive. I respectfully request this "fee" be returned to me (1801 Poplar Dr. Apt. 50, Medford, OR 97504). The Van itself was not particularly clean (although I have no issues with it or the trailer mechanically). The interior was stained on the dash and seats by a liquid substance and the interior was very "sticky", particularly the steering wheel. I had to wash off much of the stains and stickiness myse

No one picked up the phone when I was calling in the morning! I was not aware that My reservation was only for 4hr's! Maybe that was my fault, but that took me by surprise, non the less!
